I would normally do a smaller size of 4. The 6 was to tight and barely zipped. Luckily it is so well made with lots of strong stretch. I would have been more comfortable in Size 8. I still wore the 6 and received compliments

Loved this dress! I ordered it for an event that was cancelled due to stay-at-home orders. The dress came the same day, and I had to try it on. I love it, I felt beautiful. When we have formal events again, I've promised myself I will wear this dress again. Be safe and healthy!

I read the reviews and it did help a lot as this dress does run smaller due to the UK sizing. So take that into consideration. I am usually a size 2 in Nicole Miller if that helps at all and I wore the 6R. What a phenomenal dress it is. By far my fav. It made me feel beautiful, sexy and confident. It is unforgiving in fit and the leg slit is high, but be confident and you'll carry it off!! It was super comfortable, no issues at all. The drop shoulder didn't budge at all and I wear the silicone bra inserts so no show for straps or worrying about adjusting every five minutes. HIGHLY recommend!!!

This dress is about 4 sizes smaller than what you normally wear. I am 5'8' and around 150 pounds. I normally wear a size 8 and I ordered a 12Long and it fit PERFECT! I can't tell you how many compliments I got on this dress. Super comfy, elegant, very slimming. You need this dress!

Normally, I wear a 2 or a 4 but per the other reviews, I ordered the 6 and the 8 and ended up wearing the 8 as it was more comfortable. Got a lot of nice compliments on the dress and felt very confident wearing it. Also paired it with a Rebecca Minkoff clutch (from RTR). Another great RTR experience overall!

This dress is beautiful and such a classic style. Pros: with proper shape wear beneath, I had a very sexy, curvy silhouette as the dress has a slight stretch that allows the dress to hug in all the right places without looking cheap or ill fitting. I felt modest and sexy at the same time. The wedding was a formal event in a cathedral. The fabric is very thick and expensive-looking, and the dress arrived ready to wear. For reference, I wore the 10r and am a size 4-6, 27-28 in jeans, 34c, 5'4", and weigh 140. With a 2.5-3" heel, the dress was the perfect length. Cons: the dress was a bit hard to put on and get out of. I definitely could have sized up. There is a slight stretch once you get the dress on.

I ordered the 8R and 10R. I thought the 8R would fit, but took the advice of the reviews and ordered a size up for my backup. Unfortunately, my initial thought that the 8R would fit was faulty. The 10R barely fit. It was hard to zip up around my rib cage and felt a tad too tight. The zipper on the side left a little bit of a bunch. But, all in all, I was really happy with the dress and will definitely rent again - but will get the 12R too.

STUNNER. In my opinion, this dress runs small. The 8 barely fit me, & I'm consistently an XS/25 jeans/0-2 in non-formalwear. It does have a good % of spandex/lycra/stretch, though, so plan to wear it for @ least an hour before stepping out, & it'll warm & meld to your body. SOOOO elegant, restrained, & yet smoldering!!! Also: plan to wriggle into it like a worm - BEFORE doing your hair! Size up, order a larger backup size, grab your fave shaper - & RENT. THIS. DRESS.

Loved this dress! It's very form fitting and sexy without being over the top or showing too much. The fabric is thick and stretchy and feels quite nice on. I had the exact same thing happen with the zipper that another renter described - I was messing with the inside of the dress while I had it on, stretched it out a bit too much, and the zipper came undone. I took it off and fixed the zipper without a problem, but the fear was then deeply instilled in me. I would love to wear this dress again. I wish I got better pictures because I felt like a knockout.

This is an AMAZING dress. I have never been more complemented than when i wore it! I usually wear a soze zero, but wore the 6R, and it was still pretty tight. Definitly a body con dress, but in such a classy way! The fabric is really nice and thick, so it helps hold you in! Love this dress!!

I rented this dress for a formal work gala. I work in media/politics in NYC, so I wanted a dress that was both chic and polished enough to wear around coworkers and elected officials. This is the dress and I'm so glad it fit perfectly! I got the dress in 10R (US size 6 I believe) and was definitely a bit snug, but a size up would've probably been too baggy. I love that it had enough support and was also thick enough where I didn't have to wear a bra. It hit me at the perfect length but I'd say it's definitely too long for most women (I am 5'7 and was wearing 3 in. heels). Order this dress!

Usually wear a 0-2, but this runs small, especially through shoulders/arms/bust. So had to wear the 8 for that reason, which meant a little big on bottom half. And wayyyy too long. Even with 4" heels had to "hem" 4.5 inches with dress tape. Even so, loved the dress! Super flattering and a big hit.

I ordered the 4 and 6 since the reviews said it runs small and I am normally a 2. The 4 was still a bit snug but I went with it anyway since the 6 was too long ( I'm 5'3). At first it was a little uncomfortable because it was snug but it eventually loosened up a little bit and fit perfect! I received many compliments on this dress and I felt amazing! It was perfect to wear to a winter wedding. I highly recommend this dress. RTR never disappoints!

I rented this dress for a James Bond themed symphony gala. It was perfect. The material is very high quality. It is very tight but still comfortable. I rented a 12 and 10, and went with the 12 because it was a little more comfortable. I usually wear a 6 or 8, so size up for sure. This dress is very classy. The slit and tight fit give it sexiness, but nothing is too much. I would love wearing it again!

This gown was amazing. Absolutely loved the style and cut. Very well made. Unfortunately I ordered a UK8 vs a US8 and the dress was PAINTED ON. I couldn't move my arms and was a little concerned over the side slit. I ended up going with a replacement. I'm 5'8" and about 155lb and somehow squeezed into this thing but the zipper on the side clearly showed the rumples. Make sure you check the sizes. Would totally rent this again, bummed it didn't make it out!

Length is great, doesn’t drag the floor while wearing heels, so no date stepping on the back of your dress every 3 seconds. I could move without fearing exposure to the excellent shaper underneath. Split is sexy, not sleazy. The perfect confluence of sexy and elegant. Winner! I’m 5/‘7, size 6, 36DD, 140 pounds.

It's SO hard to find a gown for 6' and up! Because of the slit and one shoulder, I could get away with this gown but it was too short

I'm so glad I listened to the other reviews and signed up. I usually wear a 2, but went with the 4 due to other comments. It fit like a glove and was flattering. The slit wasn't too high and the off-the-shoulder part was classy. I liked the dress, and I'd recommend it to others, but I think I'm not a huge fan of wearing tight dresses as a whole.
