The long was too long for me at 5'7''. It fit me well on top but I am very small in the chest and rib cage

Beautiful dress. Forgiving fit. But there was a wire sticking out the top which was uncomfortable.

Wore to a military ball. Usually wear size 8, but ordered 12R in UK sizing. Fit perfectly, no bra or shapewear required. Top has a boned bodice and ruffle covers tummy area. Bottom part is stretchy.

I had a hard time getting into this dress as I should have ordered a size up. I did force myself into it however. It looked great and got lots of compliments.

I wore this for a black tie optional wedding. I received compliments all night and after I posted pictures online for friends and family. This dress was definitely tight but I did not have to pull on it at all to keep it up. The built in support in the bodice was plenty and I did not need a bra. Excellent dress, I would recommend it to anyone!

I received complements all day in this dress. It's comfortable and simple, yet it definitely turns heads. With 3 1/2 inch heels, it barely touched the floor for a streamlined, clean look without dragging. I typically wear a size 0 and the 4R was a little snug. If in doubt, order up!

I normally wear a 6 in a dress but ended up wearing the 12 with the European sizing. I got so many compliments on this beautiful green color, it definitely stood out amongst a sea of mostly black at the gala. I did find myself pulling up the front quite a few times during the night. Glad i chose this one!!

Perfect, trend forward dress for a wedding. The quality of the dress is excellent. The gown portion is made of a stretch material and is extremely comfortable and flattering. The dress fits true to size. I wore it with big bold statement earrings by kate spade which worked very well. At 5'7, the dress was a perfect length with 1 inch heels.

Overall, I enjoyed not having to wear a strapless bra (because the top is VERY fitted) nor did I have to wear Spanx - woot woot! The dress doesn’t have any stretch, so it fits true to size. I did need help zipping up the dress, as it was TIGHT at the top. Other than that, it was a fun dress and standout in a crowd of black gowns!

I rented this for a black tie wedding in May. I wanted to wear a dress that was unique and I could be sure no one else would also be wearing. This dress was perfect! The color was vibrant and I felt like I wasn't falling into black which is my go-to for formal events. I rented two sixes but went with the 12R because I didn't like how fitted the 10R was on the bottom. It was very flattering for my middle which is where I carry my extra weight. I am 5' 7" and the Regular length came off the ground about an inch with an 85 mm heel on. I wanted it to be longer but felt the long would have been dragging. Beautiful dress!! Received so many compliments.

It was elegant, unique, not-cookie-cutter dress. Ordered 10R equivalent to 6 in US size. Length was fine with high heels. If you are shorter than 5'-6" it might drag. The 8R (4 equivalent) zipped up but would have been extremely uncomfortable. Built in corset required no bra. I have zero boobs so it was lose at top but not an issue because it's high at the top. Not suitable for ballroom or Latino music dancing for it's a narrow dress. Not an issue I was tired anyway :) I recommend 100%

The fit was flattering and everyone loved the rich color. I had to size up for my chest to ensure I had room and so the top of the dress would zip up but it was a lovely dress. The dress has UK sizing so keep that in mind when renting.

I got a lot of great compliments on this dress. I was worried about the top layer being a shiny material but it really stood out in a good way. Plus it covered my stomach making me less self concise about needing to suck in. The bottom was cling around the tush but looser through the thighs allowing you to move easily.

I loved this dress. It is European sizing so can be tricky to figure out what size will fit best for you. Overall, the dress was SUPER comfortable (didn't have to wear a bra!!!) and the color is very dramatic. I received many compliments on the dress and would love to rent again! The lighting of my picture is tough to tell, but the color is BRIGHT emerald green- exactly as shown on the model.

I cannot say enough about this gown! It was a showstopper! Be sure to pay attention to the sizes - they are UK. I typically wear a 2 and ordered the 6R and 8R in this dress (i.e. a 2 & a 4). I am 5'4" and with 3" heels the length was perfect! So many compliments throughout the night and I was COMFORTABLE too!!! The only downside was that the back is lower than the front so I was unable to use my Spanx slip underneath, but otherwise, there is not a single negative about this dress! Rent it!!!!

The material is thick and hides a lot. The green silk hangs low to hide a lot too. I usually wear a 4-6 and wore a 10 in this. Luckily, I read the reviews and knew to order 2-3 sizes up.

My first time using rent the runway and I was nervous. I'm an 8 but some designers I'm a 10 or 6, so I was wondering if this would work. The 8 was perfect. Fit like a glove. Length was perfect and I felt great in it. Wore a black wrap and muted earrings to dress it up for fall. I didn't want to outdo the bride so I went with the simple accessories. The size up that I also received did not sit on my chest perfectly but it was not a huge difference from the 8. Fit in the waist really well actually. Was a smudge looser. You would need fashion tape in the larger size to secure the top down as it kind of "sticks out''. But could have certainly made it work.

LOVED this dress! I wore it for a charity event/debutante ball. I had SO many compliments on it. The sizing was a little difficult but I think the coorelating US sizes are pretty accurate. I wore the smaller of the 2 dresses I ordered (8R) because it stayed in place much better. It was very fitted but flatteringly so. It was on the shorter side (I like my dresses touching the floor) - I had to wear shorter heels than I normally would have. It is stretchy fabric so I was able to dance all night and was very comfortable. I would have bought this dress I loved it so much!

Beautiful dress - perfect for any occasion can be dressed up or down. It is long so prepare to wear heels and defiantly size up. No bra required (at least for me I am smaller chested) super comfortable and easy to dance in - rent this beauty you won't regret it!!

The 6R was a good fit, but I'm pretty small chested and have small hips. It was snug - but not inappropriately snug. The length was perfect and I'm 5'5" and wore 3" heels.

The color was incredible, fit like a glove, and didn't have to worry about it falling down for a second! I ate and drank all night before taking this picture - but you can't even tell because the dress hides any hint of a belly! I felt like a movie star. Would definitely rent again if it weren't so memorable!

This dress was gorgeous and the color was beautiful. If you follow the conversion from UK to US you shouldn't have a problem with fit. I wore the 10R (US 6R). I probably should have worn the 8R because I had to pull it up quite a few times through out the night, but it wasn't a major issue. I'm 5'2" so the dress was long even with 3-4 inch heels. I just used some fashion tape to hem the dress and I was good to go all night! I would definitely recommend renting this dress!

I've never felt more glamours. Incredible gown, runs tiny. Go up 2 sizes so you can comfortably sit and dance!

I loved this dress! I got the size 10 and 12 to be safe but ended up going with the 10. Not only was this dress figure flattering but the color is awesome! I received so many compliments on the dress, definitely will grab people's attention.

Fits well as long as you follow U.K. Sizing. There is a lot of ribbing in the top so a bit uncomfortable but overall good fit. I'm 5'7" and with 3 inch heels the long worked well.

I absolutely LOVED this dress and didn't want to send it back!! It was fitted on all the right spots and the ruffle hid my midsection nicely. I'm only 5'1" but, with the right pair of shoes the length was a non-issue. I would recommend this dress for any formal event. You'll receive loads of compliments!

Just like the other reviews describe, this dress does run small, but once you get it on, you never have to adjust it again. It was extremely comfortable and flattering. Everyone we went people commented on how gorgeous the dress was. RTR went above and beyond with their customer service for my situation ... even overnighting me a new size because my original size wasn't available any longer. I'm completely addicted to this site now!

Returning this dress was the hardest thing I've ever had to do! I was looking for a formal dress for a military ball but also am 2 months postpartum so I needed something supportive for my larger than usual tatas and that was flattering for my stomach and didn't look like a circus tent and this was perfect! I received compliments from everyone all night long on the color, fit, and style. The fabric was sturdy and form fitting but still gave some stretch where needed. I would say the dress runs pretty true to size but maybe runs a little large, I usually am a 6-8 in dresses (when not pregnant or postpartum) so I ordered 8 and 10 us sizes (12 and 14 in the U.K. Sizing which is what you order the dress in). The 8 fit and could zip up but was just a little uncomfortable and tight in my chest and the 10 was perfect, a little loose around the chest but not so loose that it was falling down or anything. I am 5'9" and I wore 3 inch heels and the dress was just grazing the floor which is perfect for me! I have kind of wider hips and butt (especially now) so I was concerned about the slit in the back being too high or stretched too far but it was not at all! The slit hit about the back of my knee and wasn't stretched too far at all (even when I tried on the 8). This is DEFINITELY a great dress that is flattering all around and will get you so many compliments so I def suggest it!! I should note part of the hem around the top frill was ripped from wear but I didn't notice until my husband pointed it out and neither did anyone else.

It fit really well on my body. The only downside is it was pretty tight in the bust. I have 34C bust and I could barely squeeze into the 8r. It was also really long. I am 5'3 and wore 4.5 inch heels and it still hung on the ground. It was easy to pick up and walk with though. I didn't mind the length though , it was such an unbelievable dress that i could overlook that.

The dress runs small. The 8R was almost snug on me, but it fit well and hugged my body. The length was perfect for me with 3-inch heels. Because of the draped fabric, I opted to wear no jewelry and let the dress speak for itself. I was unsure when I rented, but once it arrived and I saw the dress in person I wouldn't have selected anything else. So thankful for RTR!

Form fitting but not so tight or narrow that I couldn't walk naturally. I ordered the Long because I'm 5'7" but had to swap it for the Regular length. Even with my tallest heels on the long size was dragging on the ground. I suggest getting the regular for anyone 5'7"-5'8".

I felt like the most glamorous girl In the room., everyone was wondering who the girl in the fabulous green dress was! I received so many compliments. I am a small person but a DD chest so sizing is always an issue for me. I got a 4R and 6R. I ended up wearing the 6R because the 4 wouldn't zip all the way up (due to my chest). The 6 was also small and I definitely had to squeeze my chest in but there is ribbing on the dress that comes up in the front, which was perfect because it hid the evidence that I was packed in up there! I am 5'4 and wore 4" heels and the dress still dragged on the floor a bit so it is quite long. All-in-all this was a stunning dress and I felt amazing. This dress is a must!!!

First, the color. Just show stopper, amazing. Second the dress itself is made VERY well and honestly travels even better. I wore this for a wedding where we traveled and the moment I took it out of the bag after the airport, it was perfect. In the comments, some said it ran big but for me, it ran pretty true to size. I am much small up top, so I wish I would have gotten the 10R instead, but the 12R worked amazing. This dress turned heads and I got SO MANY compliments on it. The quality of the dress I really can't talk about enough. If you feel your stomach is your problem area like me, this dress ROCKS and doesn't even show that area because it is covered by the ruffles.
