When the occasion requires decorum, this is a great dress. Side slit gives it a little pizzazz. Looks better in person than in photos due to the black on navy. I’m 5’3”, added 3” heels and length was perfect, FYI

I loved this dress and received many kind compliments. It fit perfectly as if it were made exactly for my measurements. The only downside was that I am 5'4" and it was full length but it worked out with heels. I will definitely rent it again.

The dress is very demure and very mindful perfect for a work event. Yet, it is still a stunner, perfect texture details, fun slit. I’m only 5’1” and as you can see this was the perfect length for me with a little heel. Rent this ASAP!

Wore this to the Cowtown Warriors Ball. It was in the winter so the thicker velvet top was a blessing. It was flattering and fit by bust-line.

Navy satin shoes were a perfect match. Body hugging but not restrictive. Zipper was easy and flat. Not too long for 5'4" with 2" heel. This is too nice of a dress to not wear heels. Side slit was perfect and not too high even when sitting. The lined top had lots of room but didn't look baggy.

I enjoyed wearing this blue and black dress to a formal event. The event was conservative and this dress was elegant with just a touch of interest. Loved the blue and black combination and rich fabric.

This was so soft and comfortable. The dress ended up being not too tight and not too big, but just right. I didn’t wear this to the event I attended though I wish I had. I’ll probably rent this again.

This was a very comfortable dress though a little mother of the bride undertone with the body being stiffer than I expected but the slit added some fun!

I’m a size 4, but I typically size up to a size 6 for comfort. That gave me a few extra inches to comfortably move around in especially since the event served food all night long. I’d rather have something look elegant and classy- not too tight or inappropriate.

I absolutely loved this dress. I rented for my piano recital but my teacher said it was too formal. I would totally rent it again when there's a formal occasion.

This dress was perfect for the winter gala I attended. I felt so glamorous! The slit added just a bit of spice. Side note - if you’re a curvier girl, size up. It does not stretch and was tight in my hips (small waist, larger hips.) It wasn’t uncomfortable, but I’m really glad I got the 4. (Usually I wear a 0 or 2 in Madewell or JCrew.) Also, the length of the dress was perfect with a 3’ heel!

I usually wear a size 6 and this was just a tad too big. Absolutely loved it though. I had to drive 2 1/2 hours to and from the wedding wearing this dress and it was so comfortable!

Super thankful for the backup, the size 2 fit, but it was snug. Size 4 was perfect! The length was just right, couldn't have worn shorter heels, but I wore 4 in heels. Lots of compliments. Its was chilly out, and the shoulder coverage really helped keep me comfortable.

Truly gorgeous and luxurious dress. Excuse my photo attempt at using the self timer! The top is black, I was uncertain from the description, but very pleased with the black velvet top contrasting with navy and black jacquard bottom. The bust and sleeve draping is lovely. As someone with wider hips my only critique is the dress looks a little tight across the hips. At 5’9” size 4 hit right at the top of my feet. I’m a true size 4, but I tried a size 2 as well and it also fit, but looked even more buckled at the hips so I went for the 4!

Wore this on a nice evening out. Felt very elegant and well-made. I would caution that certain angles made my stomach look larger because of the cut of the waist, but overall this was very flattering and a nice change for colder temperatures.

Looks just like it does on the model. Very flattering, quality garment, hugs the body correctly and forgives everywhere else. TTS - I am usually a 2 and the 2 fits perfectly. Could wear with heals or flats. A little too formal for the “cocktail” wedding I am attending next week, but will reorder for a black tie optional event later this year.

So many black tie event dresses show too much cleavage or leg to be worn to a professional event. This piece was perfect! It was flattering with some sexiness and shape without showing off anything I did not need my coworkers to see.

Loved this dress. Was very elegant without being stuffy/dowdy. It was very comfortable to wear. And as I am short -- it did not drag!

This was my back up size, as I normally fit a 10 or 12, but the 10 fit perfectly so I didn’t even try this on.
