This was a perfect dress for a masquerade gala. So comfy and you can wear a regular bra which was nice. Got lots of compliments all night!

I LOVE the color and fit or this and the fact you can wear a regular bra but it just isn’t practical for my event in central Florida for the time of year. I would love to wear this for a cold weather event though!

This dress was so comfortable. I didn’t need shaperwear, I wore a regular bra, and I didn’t have to get a spray tan :). Length was perfect on me. Definitely rent it!

Loved this, nice stretch, but since long sleeves and warm heavy fabric, it was going to be too much for the daytime wedding I was going to.

Who has an outdoor ceremony in November? Well this dress was the perfect choice-comfortable and warm! The color is a deep blue violet and is a great alternative to all the black dresses you see at events these days. Btw the slit isn’t as high as it looks, plus the sash is long enough to camouflage that side. Also I’m 5’7” and the length was perfect with 3 1/2” heels. I’m 69 and this dress didn’t make me look like a kid…or a granny lol! Added bonus: my husband loved it too!

I am 5’5” about 120, and it fit like a glove. I loved the rich blue color and on a cool fall evening, it was the perfect weight for warmth without being too much. I was able to wear a regular bra and it did not show at all. No shapewear either! So flattering.

This dress was a huge hit with me and I got so many compliments. First I never really wear deep purple but it was so flattering with my coloring and blue eyes for starters. Second the stretch Velvet is so incredibly comfortable and flattering. Hugs you in all the right places. Comfortable the entire night. And lastly the weight gain from having Covid a few months prior was slowly coming off and finding things that fit and flatter were proving tough. Win Win Win with this dress. You will be so glad you rented it. I would say it runs true to size but is forgiving because of the stretch material.

This dress fit like a dream. It's actually more purple than blue (though it looks blue here). The fabric is stretchy so it is forgiving if it's a little too small or big. Also, the dress is a good tummy hider if that is a problem for you (I have a major gut right now). I got so many compliments all night - literally every person I met raved about my dress. Also, I'm 5'8" and there wasn't a long in my size and It wasn't too short (though the sleeves didn't go to my wrist). I highly recommend!

I rented it for a last minute event I attended with my husband. I wore my usual size. The app suggested a smaller size and I usually order my size and one size up so I took a chance with this one. The smaller size would have fit but the arms were way too snug. My usual size was a perfect fit. Got lots of compliments.

This dress was so comfortable! I wore it to a work gala. The slit gave it just enough "sexy" but still remaining professional/conservative enough. A woman stopped me toward the end of the night and just HAD to know where I got my dress. 5/5! Definitely rent this dress. For reference, I am 5'7, 190 lbs and wore 2.5 inch heels. I felt beautiful, comfortable, and received so many more compliments all night! The dress did not need to be pinned at all, either.

This dress was a dream! I was hesitant to rent a long sleeve velvet dress...just didn't want to look any older than I am! This dress was a knock out! One of the most flattering, comfortable, most wonderful dresses ever! The purple is deep and gorgeous! No need for a wrap or coat. I paired this with my 3.5" black heels and long black earrings. Stunning! Highly recommend!!

I didn't actually get to attend my event, but the dress was lovely. Some stretch, curve hugging/bump hiding, and a great color. The slit is sexy without flapping open all the time. I prefer my dresses a little longer than this, generally--I'd consider this a true tea length. (I'm 5'4") Bonus: regular bra approved!

The fit was true to the size. I received many compliments and it was the perfect dress for an early fall wedding in Wine Country (CA). Velvet is warm, but purple is truly my color and this correlated well with my nails and hair. Comfortable to wear and overall pleased with the fit and selection.

Yes, i rented this to ring in the new year at my house with my husband and my kids, and it was perfect! Comfy and stretchy and extra material in all the right places. The little sash kind of covers the slit (which isn't super high) for a more modest look. The COLOR is stunning. I'm so happy I picked this one and I'm going to file it away to rent for a real event one day. Beautiful dress! (When i rent for an actual formal event I will probably book a "long" if it's available.)

The color really changes depending on lighting. A lot of people thought it was navy. It's breathable but is still velvet. Wish the slit was higher.

This dress was comfortable and definitely was a head turner. I wore it for a work event. The split was high but still professional enough for a work event setting. Fit is perfect.

My husbands jaw hit the floor!! This was an amazing dress. Felt wonderful. The size I wore was a tad big but it was very comfortable. The slit wasn't as prominent but that was due to the dress being a bit big. I got compliments all night!!

Wore for an outdoor fall wedding. The fabric was thick/heavy and had a nice stretch. Ruching was very flattering on my 18 week (twin) bump. Loved that I could wear a normal bra with this. Overall loved and would recommend!

This dress was flattering and very comfortable. A little on the short side. Oddly I got a 6 and 12 and the fit wasn't THAT far apart (an 8 or 10 definitely would've been better though), so it's a pretty flexible dress.

Great fit & semi-built-in tummy control. I’m 5’1 / 146lbs (I love cake & pastries) anywho, this dress was amazing. I received a lot of compliments. I have a tummy & I did wear some shapewear but as previously mentioned the dress has a semi-tummy control situation built in. The pictures I took in the bathroom don’t do the color of this dress justice. I’m not a fan of purple but this royal purple is everything. It was comfortable & easy to dance in. Great for any winter event!

JUST GET IT!!! I wish I could wear this to every cold weather event for the rest of my life. I actually was able to wear both sizes I purchased, at two different events, once at a wedding and once at a gala! I am normally a S or XS. I ordered both the 36 and the 40. The 36 fit me more tightly but was more of a sexy fit. The 40 also fit but was just a little less form fitting. I am 5'3" and the length of both dresses worked out perfectly for me with a 3 or 4" heel. The color is kind of a chameleon but trends closer to a deep purple than a royal blue. Super comfortable, and I didn't even need a jacket though it was already cold here.

Wore this to an arts gala, first time I had ever used RtR! I normally wear a 10-12, but sized up because it’s formalwear. I might’ve gotten away with a smaller size with this one, so if you’re between sizes, you may want to size down. However, the only length in stock was a Long, and even though I’m far from tall, I’m sure glad I didn’t get the Regular length! The dress hit just right on my 5’5” frame with 3 inch heels, and the sleeves were still a tad short. Overall beautiful gown, so flattering, comfortable, and nice to be able to wear a normal bra/shapewear!

Fairly true to size. I think 2L would have been ideal but wasn’t available. Sleeves were notably short on me (not as bad with the long). Could have worn the regular length with flats but looked pretty silly with 2-2.5” heels. Super comfortable dress with nice heavy material and good stretch, though I will admit it was a little hot to dance in.

This dress was great for a fundraiser dance. Fits true to size and was super comfy!
