No bra necessary (if you get the right size). I should have gotten a size 40R... People might step on the train of the dress, so be careful.

The dress fit great. The only complaint I have is the material around the rings on the upper torso were a bit wonky. They stuck up and in every direction. However, the dress fit great, it was super comfortable and stayed in place all night. I did not have to pull it up constantly or adjust it. Plus, RTR got the dress to me on time, in good shape and returning it was a piece of cake. Will definitely rent again.

I loved this dress! It was classy, but still young enough that I loved the look and got so many compliments. I am 5'4" and typically wear a size 8. The dress was a little long therefore, my mom used 2 sided tape to "hem" the dress for the night. I would rent this dress again in a heartbeat!

This dress was perfect! I rented a size 8 and it fit perfectly! I have a little pudge stomach and this dress hid it perfectly. It was the perfect length, my heels were about 3-4 in. Only complaint I would have is that it arrived VERY wrinkled! When your taking the dress out-of-town or it is last minute you do not have time to iron it. Thankfully I got ready with the bridal party and I was able to use a steamer. But me mindful of this when you ship & rent this dress.

I order this for my senior prom it was the best decision! With this dress I got compliments all night! What they don't tell you is that it does have a tint of purple to it so when matching my boyfriends vest to my dress it was a little hard but it turned out great! Definitely ordering from Rent the Runway again!

I ordered this in a size 38 and 40, and I didn't even need to try on my other two dresses because it fit perfectly the first time! The dress was beyond gorgeous and a lot more crepe-like/light-weight than it gives off in the picture. The size and length were perfect - I wore about 4 inch heels.

This dress was great! I wore it to a military ball, and it was absolutely perfect for the occasion. In person, it has a tiny hint of a purple in it that you don't pick up in the pictures, which looked great. I'm 5'5, and I ordered the "regular" - It was still a bit long, even with heels. Thank you, RTR - You did not disappoint!

I wore this dress to my senior prom and I loved it. I was probably the only person that didn't have to keep pulling up the front of their dress. I liked how the dress had a built-in corset type top that really helped it fit. Only thing that was a little off was the color of blue it was a little darker than the Royal blue I had in mind.

I can only find pros for this dress. I danced in it all night and stood out from other dresses worn. The mother of the bride had said she's love to wear this dress that night. If this is a color your thinking of, go for it.

It was long so I needed a temp hem but otherwise it fit beautifully!

The dress fit great but it was a way too long by about 4" even with 4" heels. I also had problems getting the dress zipped so had to wear the larger size even tho the smaller fit better.

This was not the dress I would of pick; however the one I original picked was damaged. I called and I received another dress the next day. This dress was absolutely beautiful, It felt like the designer cut the dress for me; however, I could not attend the Gala because this dress to was damaged. The zipper was broken which caused the dress not to zip up. It was very unfortunate because it was a formal charity event and because of the problems with the dress I could not attend. #sad face....

Beware ladies, if you have an hourglass shape, 34 DD , and you are petite.. KISS it Goodbye. This dress is gorgeous but for some reason the frontal torso area bulges out. (I tried to talk myself into wearing still) I think other wise if you do not have the above ... This dress will be the talk of the party. I did not wear the dress, but learned what works for me and Not.

Color was gorgeous but it had built in boning and bra, which didn't fit my large chest: / wish it didn't have that because it would have been so pretty.
