The bodice is structured but not tight, and the skirt has layered tiers that add shape without feeling heavy. I could move comfortably all night. Great option for galas, performances, or formal events.

This dress was gorgeous. The fabric has no stretch at all and if you are busty it might be tight so I had to wear without a bra. The 16R was not available so I had to go with the 16L and that was too long for me (I’m 5’4) so I had to wear super high heels and even then pick up the side of the dress a little when walking which was ok for the occasion so next time I would go with the 16R. I feel in love with the brocade type of fabric. Wish I could have kept this one

I so wish that this dress fit because it is so beautiful. Very heavy dress - comfortable in the waist but could not get it zipped up in the chest area. There was not a larger size available when I ordered this one, so I took a chance and hoped that this would be the right size. I ordered the regular length - picture is without shoes and not zipped up. With heels, it would have been the perfect length.

Everyone was so excited about the rental - it was amazing. I was right in the middle of sizes (14/16) but wore the 16 because the empire waist hit more on my natural waist. I’m 5’6” and had the regular length and it was just a tad too long nothing a pair of heels couldn’t fix.

I’m in between a 16 and 18. The 16 felt snug in the chest and arms. The 18 felt much more comfortable. I received compliments throughout the night.

Dress is heavy but structured so well! It was perfect for this daytime formal event. Color is amazing and pops!!

I LOVED this dress. I was a little worried that it would be too small but it it perfectly. Worn to a friends wedding that was outside. Material looks heavier than it actually is, which was a pleasant surprise! 10/10 recommend!

I had a baby and wanted something that I could wear a nursing bra with and that would offer good coverage up top and this dress was great! Not sure what size I am right now but I went off other reviews and the 12 fit well. There is no stretch with this dress though. I'm 5'5" and wore 3 inch heels and it was a decent length.

The dress fit perfectly- bright, fun color, stood out and was both fun and black tie appropriate while also providing good coverage so I could feel modest around my in laws. One con- It was a very warm evening and the dress was long and felt a bit heavy.

Dress is super comfortable and very flattering for all body types. Have to say I’ve added some covid pounds and was dreading this event but RTR pulled thru. The dress was just as described and fit like a glove. I wore the 16L. I’m 5’9” and this was the perfect length. Received many compliments on the red Monique Lhuillier!

Very comfy and true to size. Length was good on me. I'm 5.7 and wore 2.5 - 3 inch strappy gold sandals. I think gold really went well with the red. This dress felt fun and energizing but also conservative enough to dance the night away with a lot of work adjacent people. One of my fave RTR rentals.

Needed a red dress for a traditional Nepalese wedding ceremony to take place on a Monday afternoon. I got compliments from everyone including the bride. Really great fit. Easy to move in. The dress has gorgeous detail and is a bit heavy. For my tall friends: I wore flats and it was the long was the perfect length. I probably could have gotten away with a 1 or 2 inch heel.

The dress is medium-heavy weight, somewhat easy to put on (an extra-hand helps with the long zipper), and so comfortable. The fabric is very high quality and the lace overlay is intricate and gorgeous. The dress feels true to size and was a great length. I have zero complaints. This was my backup dress for the event. When I ordered it, they didn’t have an 8 so I took my chances with this 6L. I managed to squeeze into it, as it was true to size, but it was a tad tight for me in the busy/rib cage region, since I’m normally an 8. Also, my order arrived early and the dress was in excellent condition.

For me, this dress is perfection for a formal event. I wore it to a fundraiser gala for my kids school. This dress is ideal for me because I could wear a regular bra, the lace didn't pull or make me look like I had a uni-boob. The color is festive and the length hit me just right with a 3 inch heel on. I received more compliments than I ever expected with many telling me I needed to buy it. The detail in the lace is simply lovely too. Also it's not heavy and doesn't wrinkle. I loved it!!

I wore this for my Tea Ceremony and it was perfect. I received so many compliments and I felt beautiful. It was was very comfortable. I typically wear a size 12 but with this dress I wore a size 14 petite. I'm 5'1" and the length was perfect with heels but dragged a bit in flats.

Loved this dress felt beautiful! I wore 4 inch heels and they caught a little bit on the back when I walked still. Not sure If it was a length thing as I’m 5’7” or the lace caught a little but I just held it when I went up stairs and it was good. Fits well and very flattering!
