You could carry an elephant around in your pocket and it wouldn't be noticeable, so phone, keys, and wallet is no sweat. I would've probably fit better in a smaller size, but the cut and silhouette of the dress made it fine regardless. Got compliments all night.

I love this dress. I am 5'5" and a size 2 and the 2R was perfect. I wore 3" heels with it. It is comfortable and the color is beautiful.

The fit was great--I did not find that it was too low cut; I just could not wear a strapless bra with it because of the cut out in the back. It was the perfect length with 4" heels, maybe a tiny bit too short in the front. Would definitely recommend!

I wore this for a black tie charity masquerade and felt like a princess the whole night. Light enough for dancing and warm enough for an October night! Please excuse the photo bomber in the background. :)

I loved this purple gown! Glad I ordered the 4L as others suggested...I'm 5'5" and with 3+ inch heels the length was perfect! The 2L didnt fit any snugger than the 4L but the deep V neckline in the 2L had been tacked to be less deep and the lower neckline was more flattering. I used fashion tape (sold by RTR) and never worried about a wardrobe malfunction. The bust was a little large for me...my barely 34 A bust didnt quite fill out the fabric but wasnt a deal breaker. This was a comfortable dress and the back was beautiful. I got lots of complements on it!

I was nervous that it would be too long since there was no petite length available but the 2R was perfect with a set of heels. super comfortable and would rent this gown again in a heartbeat!

Sizing runs on the big side. I usually wear a 12, I ordered the dress in a 10 and easily could have done an 8. I am most curvaceous through the hips and thighs so the full skirt was a dram and so comfortable. I used fashion tape for the plunging neckline and it worked out great! Love that the dress has pockets!

This dress is stellar! The fabric, weight, volume and fit are great! I paired it with a body necklace that peeked out the back and gave a modern touch. Felt stunning and was very comforfable! I wore flat comefortable shoes and still looked like a queen because the dress dows all the work for you! I used the Kim K duct tape method for keeping my breats from moving arpund and it worked PERFECTLY! Also loved that i could eat and dance and do anything i wanted without it being unflattering or uncomfortable! Also even the most fabulous gay men and drag queens have me complements all night! Huge hit!!!

This is a stunning dress. Eveyone was blown away but the beauty of it. Fits perfect.

The gown became unavailable in my first choice size about a week before my event so I worked with a stylist to find a replacement (the gold gown I’m wearing). My friend realized that she forgot to pack her gown so she ended up wearing the purple one. I was surprised that the gown fit her so well because she wears a 16 and the gown is an 18R. I’ve rented several gowns from this particular designer and they usually run large. Pictures do not do the fabric justice. It’s luxurious and the pattern catches the light as you move in it. My friend is 5’5” and she wore flats so I would suggest renting a long if you’re any taller. As for the bust - there was a lot of tape involved because the dress is too low cut for a bra, even with a converter. Oh, and my friend was also pleasantly surprised to discover the dress has pockets since also forgot to pack her clutch.

This is an absolutely amazing dress! Very well-made and the fabric was beautiful. I got all sorts of compliments at the party. My dad didn't love the amount of cleavage it showed haha; just be aware this is going to show a lot of the girls. I used tape for support since it has the open back. Plus it haaaaaasssssss pockets. I'm going to watch for this one to go one sale.

The Dress was perfect for the Bridal Party. The only problem I had was the breast area you will need some tape. The pockets are perfect for cell phone and lipgloss. Wonderful dress.

The dress was stunning! I received plenty of compliments throughout the night, and it was such a positive contrast to the typical Prom dresses. It was true to size but I pinned it in the front because the V-neckline was a little too low. But overall, it was beautiful and I felt stunning.

I originally had ordered the Rasberry dress but it came in dirty and the back up dress did not fit. So this was my 3rd choice. The cloth is so beautiful to look at and heavy, which is perfect for the cold winter weather. However, my event which was 6 hours long consisted of me trying to keep my small B cup boobies from popping out and the top back zipper kept coming undone with just sinple hugs or movements when picking something up! So I had go run to the bathroom where half drunk law students tried to zip me up. Eventually my husband had to start zipping me up because my collogues were drunk, and I did not trust a stranger drunk person to zip up a $500+ dress. Also, the zipper at the top was difficult to zip and the shoulders ran big. The waist fit perfect and I'm usually a size 13/14 pants. Would have given it a 1 star for functionality, but the cloth is simple beautiful in person!

Overall this dress fit great. The top was a little big for me so it tended to show my skin colored bra a little more than I would have liked. Nonetheless it got tons of compliments all throughout the night. I felt super regal and beautiful in this dress and I definitely stood out amongst the crowd!

The pockets were a huge plus. Also the dress fit perfectlly around my waist and chest in the size 2. I had ordered a 4 as well based on hip and other measurements, but since it's such a full skirt the 2 was the perfect size and the 4 would have been overkill especially since I have a small chest. Because of the open back I still on the wear the stick on bra - but other than that it was comfortable. I'm 5'5 and 125 lbs.

I wore this dress for a formal event at work. The dress had pockets -- what girl can't use pockets for a formal dress?! -- and was so comfortable. The pockets made it easy to carry my ID, cell phone & lipstick in throughout the night & not be bogged down with a purse. The front cut is definitely low & for a work event, I didn't feel like I could wear it "as is". I am 5'7" and got both the 4R & 6R to try. I fit into both; however, I ended up wearing the 6R so I could pin the front without it "puckering" and not laying right. I optioned not to wear a bra due to the low back; however, with the pin, it worked perfectly. I wore 2" heels and the length worked great -- hit just above the floor. The dress does run slightly big so I would order a size down. I received so many compliments throughout the night - was definitely the perfect dress!

If you are tall this was a beautiful fit for someone with height and the desire for floor length look!

This dress was amazing - I wish so badly that I could purchase it. I got SO many compliments on this dress. It was perfect for black tie wedding. I ordered a size 2 and it fit great - it was a little big around the waist but I have a very small waist in general. The V is deep but it's awesome and felt it was perfect. Sitting can be difficult because it gapped some but wasn't bad

beautiful shimmery violet gown with poof in the skirt and pockets! I'm 5'2" and wore 4 " wedges and it was a great length- sweeping the floor and sometimes I lifted up the skirt to walk faster which made it look that much prettier anyway! Tons of compliments at my "Once upon a time " gala. I do feel it runs slightly large , the top is a deep v- it is quite chesty, and shows beautiful décolletage but I wore a necklace bib as part of the costume. I went as aForest Queen with a black tiara crown.

I rented this dress for a recital and it was GORGEOUS. It met all my expectations! After reading extensive reviews, I was relieved it fit. I would have ordered the 12R had it been available, but I ordered the 8R and 10R, and the 10R still fit great!! As many other people have noted, it is VERY busty. I have a full bust so it looked very scandalous until I added a panel of fabric to cover up some of my cleavage. If this is a concern of yours, my advice would be to size up. If you size up, you should have enough fabric in the chest area to work with and pin for modesty. If you size down it will be a tighter fit in the bust, which is fine as long as you’re comfortable with a full display of cleavage. I included pictures of the dress with and without the panel for reference. As for the bra situation, depending on the way the dress sits on your back/type of bra you have, you may or may not be able to wear a bra. There are two issues you might have: 1, the strap showing in the open back, or 2, the cups showing in the front. I was lucky that dress covered my back in a way that allowed me to wear a bra without it being noticeable. You may have to explore some options between going no bra, using tape, finding a specific bra, etc. If you are self conscious about your tummy or anything below the upper body, this dress will hide these insecurities and give you a flowy hourglass appearance. As far as length, front of the dress is a bit shorter than the back, which has a bit of a train, so I wore flats. I’d say get Long option if you are planning on wearing heels and over 5ft6in. Overall, my first experience with RTR was a pleasure. Customer service was so helpful. I was even able to switch delivery addresses without a hitch last minute. Rent this dress!! You will get non-stop compliments!!

This dress is stunning. I rented it for a recital performance. I sized up per the recommendations, but the top was a bit too large.

Just wanted to take some silly quarantine pictures in a beautiful gown. A size 16 was not available, so I got the 18; it was large, so I think the dress fits true to size. The dress is extremely comfortable, especially for something so "fancy" and it has pockets! I wore it all morning; it was far more comfortable than most dresses.

I LOVED wearing this gorgeous gown for family photos in a lilac field! The color popped and I felt like a queen. In love!

I wore this dress to our New Year’s Eve dance/dinner party. I chose it, in part, because I have a cylindrical figure and look best with a high waistline. I received loads of complements and felt lovely. I was pleasantly surprised at the high-quality of the material and the colors are gorgeous. The V-neck needed lots of adjusting during the evening to keep me modest, but was worth it. I am 5’ 9.5” and wore 3.5” heels; the “long” length was good, with one caveat. Because about ¼” of my black bra showed in the back, I tried the dress without it. Without the bra, however, the dress was just a bit longer and not safe for dancing. I put the bra back on and I expect (hope) that, because of the low lighting in the venue, this fashion breech was observed by few or none. I was a bit uncomfortable with the bare back—seemed a bit much for a 61-year-old, but I have no regrets choosing this dress. Husband gave it a big thumbs up, too.

I rented this dress for professional pictures. I have a large tummy and somewhat unproportionate body so it can be hard for me to find a dress that fits my breast, my tummy, and my hips. Not to mention I'm also short. This dress fit everything beautifully! It was figure flattering. The length was perfect for my short stature. I felt like a total bombshell. I highly recommend it!
