Was worried about too much gapping for a 34AA bust, but the adjustable straps made it a non issue. Got many, many compliments. Dress is well made. Great for taller girls too (5'9"). Lowest point in the back hit a bit above the ankle/ low calf. Was fun to wear and twirl a bit in. I'm usually a size 6, occasionally a size 4, and the size 6 fit wonderfully, not too loose or tight. Would recommend.

My friend who has used RTR recommended it to me, but I was nervous since the dress comes only a few days before the requested date (if you’re lucky). I was not about to spend hundreds of dollars on a dress I wear once then it sits in my closet until the end of time. I figured since these dresses are high quality pieces and if I know what style is right for my body type, it should be fine. Let me tell you…this did NOT disappoint! If I could give this dress 900 stars I would. It is absolutely beautiful and I got so many compliments. I felt so confident and the dress was very comfortable, aside from the usual only complaint you’ll see in the reviews…the straps kept loosening and needed to be tightened. That was a minor inconvenience and the only negative I have about the dress and it doesn’t affect my overall review. I wore this to a backyard barn wedding. I got size 8 and 10 and there wasn’t too much of a different between the sizes but since the dress isn’t stretchy at all, I went with the 10 so it was still comfortable on my hips/thighs when sitting.

She fit like a dream! Huge relief because I was only able to score one size (my usual size) for my sister’s wedding in San Miguel de Allende. It traveled remarkably well and was perfect for the setting. Not too hot during the day and kept me comfortable into the night, where it dropped into the low 50s. It is well-lined in the bodice with a great smoothing effect. The cups are lightly padded, but not enough for my A’s, so I ended up using extra inserts. The straps were determined to loosen to their full length, but I was able to adjust them fairly easily each time. This dress was a privilege to wear. I was flooded with compliments and got to be comfy the whole time.

Beautiful, comfortable, giving but form fitting, classy yet sexy neckline. I didn’t need to wear a bra and the fabric had enough coverage where I didn’t need to wear spanx. Plenty of compliments. I danced and sat comfortably!

I’ve tried to rent this dress two other times (Covid related issues) but man, this dress was so worth the wait. I absolutely adored this dress. Hugged every curve just right and wasn’t restricting in any way. The straps kept loosening as I danced and needed to be tightened a few times, but other than that - she’s perfect!

I got tons of compliments. This dress fit me beautifully. The dress fit across the top very well and you can wear a strapless bra. Hugs curves and hides any tummy issues. I had been dying to get this dress to rent but it was never available. It was finally available in the summer, and I took a chance. The dress is heavy and would not work at an outdoor summer wedding. I was at a very air conditioned hotel wedding and it worked perfectly and I wasn’t hot at all even when dancing. Love love love this dress. This is probably my favorite dress ever rented.

This dress fit me perfectly! I wore it to a formal wedding in Mexico and danced all night in it. The velvet was really great quality and did not shed or look shiny. The embroidery was beautiful. The only downsides were the adjustable straps wouldn't stay put and kept sliding down and the slip didn't extend all the way so the embroidery was a little scratchy on my calves. Neither bothered me very much and I loved wearing it.

I probably should’ve sized up to a size 8 because the dress was a bit snug in the chest, but it was still comfortable enough to dance in!

When I first tried it on, the dress was so tight I almost returned it. However, I ate light for a week and tried it on a few more times and it fit the day of the wedding! The dress is very fitted and flattering. The velvet feel of it and embroidery makes it look expensive and of good quality! It is pretty true to size, I wouldn't size up. For reference, I am 5'8 and 145 lbs.

This dress was IT! I received compliments all night from random strangers. I ordered 14 and 16, this dress does hug every inch of your curves. I fit into both dresses, but ended up wearing the 16 to be more comfortable during dinner and dancing. I would definitely pick your size and a size above when ordering because it goes run smaller like other reviews say. The straps adjust but slip so I pinned them, which didn't move all night. 10/10 recommend, felt amazing and great quality!

Absolutely stunning dress - if you don't get compliments it's because everyone is jealous that you are the best dressed at your event. I wore this to a November, vineyard wedding in New York and it was perfect. I was a little nervous about the size being too small for my butt but it definitely has a little bit of give and ended up fitting fine. Like everyone else said, the adjustable straps are a game changer but they did slip down frequently throughout the night which was the only inconvenience. Will probably break my rule of no repeat renting for this dress because it's so beautiful.

This dress was sensational! I am about 5'5, 115 lbs with an A-cup chest and the 0R fit perfectly. I couldn't have asked for a better fit out of the bag. The lightly padded lining up top allowed me to go braless without worry which was PERFECT. It even added a little bit of a push-up effect in conjunction with the adjustable shoulder straps. I literally don't have 1 complaint about this dress. Compliments all night long! I wish it was mine to keep!!!

The flared skirt at the bottom isn't my favorite thing, but the fit, the thickness and quality, richness of color and embroidery was too good to pass up. I had a great time in this dress and felt great, too.

The color and embroidery on this dress are even more beautiful in person. It's form-fitting with some stretch and the dark velvet smoothed out any problem areas as the eating, drinking and dancing turned up. I received so many compliments and felt comfortable all night. Adjustable straps were great and stayed in place all night.

Dress was form fitting and very comfortable. I've worn dresses before where I feel like I can't breathe all night. This was easy to wear and looked great too! Straps adjustable which helps when you're 5'2"! They didn't slip through the night and needed to be adjusted a couple times but nothing crazy. I didn't even open my backup dresses because this one was great!

This dress photographs beautifully, but is even more beautiful in person! It's very comfortable to wear, it's made of a thick material and a little heavy, which was perfect for keeping me warm at an early spring wedding. I got compliments all night, and I was genuinely sad to send the dress back. The straps do loosen and slip off as the evening goes on, but they're easy enough to tighten back up. One of my all time RTR favorites!

Wore this dress for a winter wedding and couldn't have been happier. The bodice has some structure without being stiff, and the adjustable straps allow small-chested gals to feel safe from any "gaps" - even when dancing all night. Paired with a black pashmina for warmth, but didn't end up needing it.

If I could wear this dress in place of my robe, I would. It was so soft, comfortable, and fit perfectly. The inner liner helps prevent it from being staticky, but it's also not heavy or tight enough to be noticed while you're wearing the dress. The colors both in the velvet and the embroidery are gorgeous, and photograph extremely well. I was nervous about the weight of the dress, but it never felt heavy and always flowed and moved easily. I was worried about how the dress would hit my waist as I have a short torso, but it was no issue whatsoever. The only issue I had was with the adjustable straps; those seemed to be the only things affected by the weight of the dress as they would often slide back down and not maintain their adjusted height. I decided to wear a strapless bra-the dress itself has enough of a lining to where it's not necessary if you're worried about not wanting to blast your nips-and I'm glad I did because as the adjusted height was lost, it definitely lowered to a point where I would have Janet Jacksoned everyone as I bent over. Overall, I would wear this dress everyday if I could, even to just check the mail.

I rented this for New Years and felt so put together. The dress was extremely comfortable and for the first time ever, I didn't have to wear a bra!! It was very supportive in the busy, extremely flattering for my shape and comfortable! I can't say enough good things about this dress

I loved this dress! I rented it for a friend's wedding in Mexico, but we cancelled our trip due to COVID-19. I wore it for my family's zoom Christmas party instead. It was a little snug as I ordered a size down (my size wasn't available), but the material has some stretch. I loved the built-in bra. Normally I hate them, but this one has thick padding and is super supportive for larger cup sizes. The embroidery is beautiful.

This was a beautiful dress that fit well. It accentuated my body in the right areas and was forgiving in the torso.

Absolutely cannot recommend this dress again. So chic and unique you will get compliments all night. Super comfortable and great for dancing at weddings! The zipper on mine was a bit hard to get up but once I got it on it was smooth sailing. I got a 12 and 10, tried the 12 on first and it was comfy and fit well so I didn't bother trying the 10 but I feel like it would have fit as the 12 wasn't super tight. Seriously, get this dress I wish I could wear it daily. P

This dress was absolutely perfect. It fit my body like a dream! I never have been so in love with a dress before. I'm typically a 14/33 in denim. The 16R fit flawlessly. I spent the entire night receiving numerous compliments including the waitresses at the wedding! (Lol) considered buying the dress that's how much I loved it! If you're curvy it will definitely fit really well. I was hesitant thinking it might not look good but it looked so darn good. my only complaint would be that the straps loosened throughout the night and had to be continually tightened. Had I realized this I would have just put a pin in them before the wedding.

Easily the best dress I've ever worn. It was somehow classy and sexy at the same time, and it felt incredibly luxurious to wear. I'm typically a 4/6, and I definitely needed the 6 in this one. It's pretty form-fitting through the hips and legs, and that's where I'm widest. But it was a great fit for my body type, so if you're curvy with a booty, this is for you!!! I got compliments on the dress the whole night from random people, and my boyfriend couldn't stop raving about how beautiful I looked. Definitely a showstopper!
