I got SO MANY compliments on this dress. It wore it to a friend's wedding and it was so fun to wear. It does run big and I probably could have gotten way with a smaller size, but the tenty-ness added to the dramatic effect. It also runs super long so you'll need to wear your highest heels!

Loved this dress for a formal English wedding. I would absolutely rent it again! The fabric is very light compared to how it appears in photos. I’m a true medium and ordered the small. I could have easily worn the XS.

To be honest, this dress is enormous, but I adored it despite it possibly not being to everyone's taste. I felt incredibly glamorous in it. In my opinion, the XS size I rented seemed to be a 'one size fits all' fit. The fabric is stunning and vibrant.

Confortable, so many complements

If you’re into the oversized look you’ll love this one! I’m not sure if sizing down is a good idea-if you look at the length it would have been to short if I sized down. It’s super comfortable and fashion forward. I love RTR for dresses like this.

I received tons of compliments from both women and men. It's a showstopper. The only thing is that, for me, the only way to wear it was with a belt, as it was huge on me. I would have sized down two sizes.

This is one for the girls. I got so many compliments in this dress. It wa perfect for a December wedding! It fit really nice and I still felt pretty despite the larger figure. Loved & hope to have an occasion to rent again!

This dress felt so elegant and beautiful and was perfect for 34 weeks pregnant! It did feel like I was wearing a tent a little bit, but still loved it!

Wore to a black tie wedding in DC and I’ve never gotten so many compliments! If I had more events to wear this dress to I would purchase it in a heartbeat! So comfortable and flattering! I’m usually a 12/L/XL and I sized down to a small as it was the only size available and it was a perfect fit! I’m 5’4” and wore with velvet heels from Jcrew that were about 3/4 inches high and it was just enough that I wasn’t tripping over the dress.

You have to appreciate the shape for what it is and enjoy the beautiful fabric. I got several compliments even though my bra kept showing in the back. Wore 3" heels to make it work for my height. Felt very high fashion at 9 months pregnant.

It was perfect for my postpartum body! The back was a little low for my maternity bra but we safety pinned two areas and I didn’t have any issues.

Very, very oversized fit but loved it! The pockets were great and with some fancy earrings it was great for a more formal event.

Rented this for an event I hosted. Forgive the unflattering angle of the photo…it was a knock though from stage. The perfect amount of volume to stand out!!

It’s a lot of material so I styled it with a snake belt from Zara. I got so many compliments and best of all, the dress has good sized pockets.

This is the only small I’d ever rent. I love LaDoubleJ; first rented a large (I’m 5’9, size 10)…. LAUGHABLY BAD. But kept it in my hearts so I could do the small - LOVED. SIZE DOWN! GET IT!

This dress runs big by design. I could have worn the small, but instead belted and loved the dress.

I couldn't love this dress any more. I wore it to a wedding and have never gotten so many compliments in my entire life. I'm a typical size 12 and the XS was still the perfect fit. I originally tried a small and I was swimming it in.

I wore a Medium and it still felt too big. I had fun pulling a sleeve down and wore it with an enormous bag for a casual night out.

One of the best dresses I have rented. I work at an upscale jewelry store and received endless compliments. It is such a beautiful pattern, easy to wear and flows with every movement. I added layers of gold necklaces and an emerald and pink tourmaline necklace, long gold earrings, and a copper and stone cuff and it was fabulous.

I have never been able to find a smaller size in this dress. Only ever available in Large. Nonetheless, I have rented twice because it's fabulous!

I wore this for my company holiday party and WOW. Such a gorgeous dress. Very Baroque and quietly sexy. The back is fire, the drape of the skirt is stunning and dramatic, the color and pattern are bold. The fabric has a subtle sheen to it that makes it perfect for evening wear. I was worried that the XL would be too big based on other reviews, but it fit how it was supposed to: very oversized. I used fashion tape to secure the top of the shoulders and then danced the night away. Length on my 5’9 frame required 3” heels so that the slightly longer back did not drag.

Wore this while pretty pregnant with lots of room to spare. Beautiful print, fun volume. Lots of compliments, including from the wedding photographer, who has seen a lot of dresses!

I am a solid 12/14 in dresses and rented a medium per other reviews and it fit perfectly! I wore for our formal Christmas dinner and felt like a queen. It’s a lot of dress but that’s the point. Just stunning!

I am 5’5, 145lbs and wear a S to M in La DoubleJ depending on the cut of the dress. I wore an XS in this dress and it fit perfectly. Great fabric that works for all seasons.

I felt amazing. Compliments galore. I would buy this in a heartbeat if I had more formal events to attend. Size down two sizes and you will still have plenty of room.

I’m normally a medium/large and ordered an XS. Still too big. Super unique and weird piece.

Got for a formal event but returned as it wasn’t formal enough. It does run large but it’s just the oversized style. I am 5’6 185 pounds (pregnant) and the large fit well, prob could have gone down a size.

The dress is gorgeous but its huge, I mean like not even flattering huge, just huge! I ended up adding a belt to waist and that helped but it was still very large.

I wore this to a black tie wedding at 32 weeks pregnant. I thought surely the dress wouldn’t feel as large to someone who was pregnant. I was wrong. I wore the medium and had an ungodly amount of room. It was absolutely stunning and I received lots of compliments but in the future I would definitely size down.
