Im not sure if it was the fit, color or just simply not my style but this was just ok for me. It looked a lot different in the pictures. Also a lot thinner than I was expectinfg. It was also missing the belt so that may habe changed my opinion.

Coat arrived pretty wrinkled, but after hanging for a couple days, was virtually wrinkle free without any additional intervention needed. Packed it for a holiday trip to Mexico. It suffered the same fate after unpacking in Mexico. I hung it in the closet for a day and it was wrinkle free enough to wear without any ironing or further TLC. Coat is comfy, lightweight, yet warm enough for temps in 50's and 60's (I didnt test it in cooler conditions).

A very elegant coat. Does get a bit wrinkly, but nothing an iron can't fix.

I got this and it was missing a button. I emailed rent the runway immediately and they accommodated me with a new jacket that I did not love as much so I just wore this with the button missing. I would have even bought it if not for the missing button. I absolutely loved this coat such a great shape to it. I felt like a million dollars. Lots of compliments.

I'm loving this Kate Spade trench coat. I ordered a small after reading the reviews, and it fits perfectly over a thick sweater dress. It keeps me warm for the 50s weather in Dublin, Ireland. Cheers!

I ordered this for a work trip to Chicago. I ordered up so I could add layers, and I'm glad I did. I wore it with black waterproof boots, and Chanel earrings and bright red bag, also from RTR, and looked crazy chic through three days of awful, rainy, windy weather. The only downside is that the coat does wrinkle when you sit, a lot.

This great jacket was a crucial part of a "Raining Men " Halloween costume I put together. Fit is very slimming, length is perfect, and the material feels well made. Normally I would have ordered a small in this jacket but there wasnt one available, I took my chances and ordered the xs, which was snug around the shoulders but still worked. I live in San Diego, a place that doesn't experience a lot of rain or else I would totally buy this piece to add to my wardrobe. Great classic coat!

This trench is more interesting in person than in the photos. The buttons are large and shiny and the cut of the collar is more rounded than a traditional coat. The coat is quite "full" making it almost feel like a skirt with a lot of extra fabric from the waist down. I'm 5'10'' and I found it to be quite long, much longer than my old trench and almost hitting my knees. The lining is so cute! Black and white striped and with the saying "every cloud has a silver lining". I found the sleeves to be a bit baggier than I would have liked and not quite long enough. The back has a "wind flap (??)" which kind of sticks away in the back. Overall I liked this a lot and it was pretty warm and perfect for rainy NYC days.

I liked the idea of wearing a fashion forward trench coat to work and out & about. I'm not going to say this item "wow'ed" me but it was comfy, looked great on camera, and fit true to size. I give 3 stars overall.

Great coat but unfortunately there were no more smalls available for unlimited and I tried the medium. Was hug opened and really baggy in the back when closed so I couldn't wear it. Will rent again in a small if available

Fits true to size, but the bottom half has so much fabric, it felt bulky. I'm 5'3" and pear shaped, it might be better on a taller and more straight frame. The buttons were loose. Overall it was okay but wasn't sad to send this one back.

Love this jacket. Great for the fall, and rainy weather. The bottom doesnt go straight down, has some character to it, which is great. Onl flaw i see is that the sleeves are a tad short.

perfect spring fall coat classic

Seriously, looked great with everything, totally even dressed up my leggings and a tee when I had to last minute run out but didn't want to look like I just came from the gym!

Even though I'm shorter the length was still perfect. The flared bottom of the jacket dressed up any outfit you had under. I appreciated the length at the arms being exactly right! Usually jacket on me tend to be long in the arms and i look like I'm swimming, this jacket there was no problem areas at all!

Great fit and very versatile with enough subtle detailing to make it fun with out being distracting.

Fit well, very comfortable. Sadly it didn't rain while I had it, but I would've been covered well. I love how it flares out. It would've been super cute with a dress.

I love this piece. I used it as my everyday trench during Spring 2016, and am still wearing it into summer. I have felt confident arriving to business meetings in this trench, but have also found that it works beautifully for casual, weekend events, too. The trench's floaty, A-line bottom half gives it a feminine feel that I really love. Great classic color, too.

If you are 5'3 or shorter this coat if for you. I am 5'2 and hits me an inch higher than my waist. Beautiful and true to size! if you are between sizes I would size down.

This is a beautiful trench coat. It got a little warm to wear--this is maybe better for early spring, but it looked great with my dress.

The shape is nice. If I had the small, it would've been perfect. Fun spring jacket.

I was hoping for a more classic fit, this is more of a fit and flare. Very feminine, but wrinkles SO easy that it can look kind of messy.

Love this over dresses.

I wore this over two short dresses in 50 degree weather and it worked great. Fit true to size for me, and I agree with the other reviewers that it looks best when buttoned and belted. Hubby loved it and asked if I wanted to keep it!

This was a cute, basic trench coat. I'm glad I got the small. I didn't like that the belt is sewn on so you have to wear it buttoned and closed, which felt a little too formal for the day I was wearing it. But it was cute and I got several compliments wearing it.

I could't understand what other reviews meant by "I wanted to love this jacket" but after a few wears, I got it. It is really cute, but he belt being long on one end was a little annoying- I tucked it into the pocket. It wasn't as neat as the picture looked- easily wrinkled and exaggerated flare. Only really recommended end of Spring or beginning of Fall.

It was a lot of material, including the belt, which A) overwhelmed my small frame and B) was a lot of work to take off and put away somewhere if no hanger (work, restaurant, etc). It served its purpose but I wouldn't rent it again.

Rented for an everyday wear, arrived with 1 missing button. Everyone was super great with a fast return in Flatiron and luckily it's 80 in October so I didn't need it anyway. Otherwise it was a cute trench, fairly lightweight. The belt is super long though, can't be worn open or it would drag. Kate Spade online has it tied in a bow on the side, but I wrapped it around twice the one night I wore it out. Made my waist look super tiny. I'd rent it again on unlimited but wouldn't buy it...especially given it fits over a full skirt.

Nice looking trench (khaki colored, not rose beige as in pics), belt is sewn on so cannot adjust other than to tighten. It arrived wrinkled and both hangers were broken though I suspect this has to do with UPS than RTR packing.

I loved this coat and it was nice and heavy but my only complaint is that the belt was sewn on on one side an do i couldn't tie it the way that I like.

Great every day jacket for spring and fall. If you are in between sizes, size down. Fine to get wet (which is nice). My only complaint about this coat is the belt. It is stitched to the coat at two different places (which is good so you don't lose) and the belt is SUPER LONG so when you thread the belt through the clasp there is so much belt left over you have to wind it back around your waist an entire whole time! Other than that, this coat is great.

Loved the a-line shape and the buttons! Great to mix up your coat wardrobe for spring. Excellent quality trench. Arm holes run a little small.

I loved the fit and it was flattering, but it was kind of big- it didn't matter too much because it was cold the few weeks I had it at home and I was wearing sweaters, etc. It's too long for sure, so I kind of felt weird in it when it was closed/buttoned. It came down below my knees, and I think it's supposed to hit at mid thigh.

Runs large, belt is a little bulky. I usually wear between a medium and a large and I felt as though I would have been better off with a small.

Coat runs big and has a lot of fabric in the skirt. Size down at least one size.

It was a light more of a light jacket than I thought it would be. Also much longer than it looks in the picture. I'm 5'6 and it comes almost to my ankles.

This is a perfect trench. Kind of silly of me but when I received the coat there was no belt with it. I ended up using a belt from another coat I own. I bought the coat. Probably should have exchanged it in hind site seeing as it's not cheap. Still love the coat. Fits a bit big but I like it because I can wear sweaters under it.
