It was perfect for my boyfriend's super fancy work christmas party.It was defintely tight across the chest,but luckily I am an A-B cup so No bra was fine with me .The color was beautiful and the length and fit was perfect .I didn't want to take if off!

I wore this dress to a Fall wedding and I loved it so much I wish I could keep it! The cut was different but flattering and the color was really pretty. I didn't have room for a bra but I didn't feel like I needed one anyway. I️ felt super comfortable all night. Length was perfect for me. The only negative was the little straps to hang it were right at the waist under the cutout and kept coming out. I wished it was my dress so I️ could cut them out but I was still so glad I chose this dress!

as i am extremely flat chested, i needed to wear a bra to sport this dress. it was a bit difficult to keep concealed. regardless, the color was stunning and the dress was comfortable, bra exposures aside.

The cut outs were fun and made it so I didn’t have to wear a bra. The dress hugged my hips a bit but the next size up was huge. Very fun color to have something besides classic black. Would recommend for sure!

This style of this dress is so classic, yet the cutouts and colour make it fun and unique. The size and location of the cutouts mean that you are unable to wear a bra, but I didn't have any issues with this while I was wearing the dress. Everything was snug and stayed in place, and it was easy to move around and dance throughout the evening!

I am 6'1" 32A and I loved this dress! It was a little short with heels, but it wasn't too terrible. The bust was a little large on me and I wore a 4L. Beautiful color and so sophisticated and simple.

Dress length was great on me especially being 5'11". The dress was very comfortable and great for dancing. Cutouts on the side gave it a nice flare and the color was very flattering.

I wore this to my boyfriends pilot training graduation, this was actually my back up dress, but I just loved it so much I had to wear it. It fit my body perfectly, I did have to squeeze my butt into it a little but other than that no problems. I got so many compliments all night.

This dress was perfect! In 4 inch heels it hit right at the floor. It was not too tight in the waist yet hugged the figure well. The material is heavy and high quality - it also travels really well (no wrinkles!). I got compliments all night. I'd buy this dress I loved it so much!

I loved the design of this dress! It was comfortable and flattering, and I thought it looked very sophisticated with the deep purple color and modern cut-outs. The only (slight) downside was that it was too long. I have a hard time believing this is actually a Petite because I'm 5'0" and wearing 4.75" heels, and there was still about 2 inches of the dress dragging on the ground. That being said, I still loved it and would definitely rent it again. Highly recommend!

This dress was perfect for a fall wedding. It was so comfortable, fit like a glove, and even has pockets! The regular length was pretty long even for my height but with wedge heels it was the perfect floor length. I wore it without a bra, and it kept everything in place without being too tight or requiring any fashion tape. Overall this dress was amazing for this event and I would definitely wear it again!

This dress got so many compliments at a very fancy October wedding I attended! (Probably my highest amount of Likes ever on Facebook lol.) It's somewhat simple, yet super sophisticated, is a great deep purple color for fall or winter, and the side cut outs are just the right amount of sexy thrown in. I have a small chest so low-cut gowns and certain strapless bras can be problematic for me, but I didn't have to wear a bra at all with this dress because of the great structure around the torso and thick layer of fabric in the front. (I'm usually around a size 2 in everyday clothes but a 0 in this dress ensured the top was nice and snug without any lose fabric on the sides.) I also have wider hips so it can be a challenge to find a gown that is small enough on top yet can accommodate my bottom half and this dress was perfect for that too. With the pockets (which are also amazing!) the bottoms flares out just enough at the waist to still look form fitting yet be comfortable to move and dance in all night long. I'm also pretty short at just under 5'3" so the petite length was perfect where a low heel would have been fine, but I was able to get away with cute sandals to be more comfortable (since you couldn't really see my feet anyway). I've had success with every dress I've ever gotten from Rent the Runway, but this is my favorite so far!!

I cannot say enough good things about this dress. I only wish it had been available in my actual size. Even though I had to safety pin it in a bit it was still an absolute favorite of mine! I wore it without a bra, but the fabric is thick enough that you don't need one! And as a bonus POCKETS!!!!

The deep purple is perfect for any formal occasion but the cut outs make it fun. I wore this to my law school prom and it was one of the prettiest dresses there! This dress is true to size and very comfortable/flattering. Plus what girl doesn't like pockets? 10/10

This dress fit me perfectly! All of the reviews were super helpful. I wore 3 inch wedges and the dress hit the ground perfectly. I was also able to wear a backless strapless bra (found it at Target) and wore it with only a tiniest corner of the bra showing on occasion.

Incredibly comfortable dress, although I wish I could have gone with the 2 for a tighter fit. Reviews said it runs true to size, RTR said it runs large, so I sized up and wore a bra to fill out the top a bit more, and I also used tape to hold the cutouts in place. In a smaller size you could easily go braless and then not worry about taping. Pockets were great, and I had no issues with any puckering. Color was perfect for an early fall, outdoor, black tie optional wedding in northern California. Received lots of compliments and would rent again.

Got a 4L when I should have had a 4R, so it was a little long for a 5' 4" girl but fit was great. Got so many compliments.

This dress is a stunning purple color and the cut is very flattering for a lot of different body types. Also as a bigger busted girl, I was able to go without a bra because the thick, stiff fabric held me in very well. The neckline also made it nice to not worry about spilling out of the dress. The length was perfect and the pockets were amazing to have as I danced the night away. Only con would be the fabric has no stretch so I did have to wear a larger size than expected because of my bust and mid-section but the cutouts gave a nice slimming effect so my ego wasn't too bruised.

I ordered the 6L and 8L. Unfortunately, one day before I was about to receive my RTR order someone contacted me from RTR and told me that the 6L was no longer available because it was either damaged or returned late. They were very nice and offered to send me another dress. I just ended up making the 8L work. They are giving me 25% back for the problem. I loved the dress and got so many compliments on it!

Dress fit great! I am tall and was concerned that even with the long size it wouldn't fit. But this dress was the perfect length. It was a little tighter than I am used to but had enough stretch for sitting and dancing all night.Wore it to a black tie wedding and got many compliments. The cut outs were just enough to be a little edgy but still appropriate during a religious ceremony. Definitely would recommend!

This dress was EVERYTHING. It was actually my backup dress, but when I put it on, I knew I had to wear it. I was nervous about the cutouts, but it's SUPER flattering. I also have bigger boobs, so I was worried about the band that goes across them, but it held them in so perfectly, I didn't even have to wear a bra! The color is rich. The material is thick and forgiving. And...best of all...IT HAS POCKETS! I'm so obsessed with this dress, and plan to rent it again this winter. Do yourself a favor and rent!

This dress was the perfect mix of classy and sexy for my event – I got so many compliments on it! It was a bit tight on the hips and dragged a little long (I'm 5'3" and wore 4" heels), so it might be better for someone with a slimmer / taller frame, but overall I was super happy with it. Plus: didn't need to wear a bra and felt totally secure.

The 4L was perfect for me. I usually have an issue with the top being too tight or waist being too large, so going braless in this dress allowed for a great fit in both the bust and waist. The fabric was sturdy and didn't show sweat, which I usually have issues with, particularly in the warmer months. LOVED the pockets! They didn't lie totally flat but I often had a hand in one for pictures and they were exactly what I needed for carrying just the essentials. Would highly recommend!

This dress is fabulous! The cutouts are in just the right places so they're not too revealing. The length was good even with my height and a short 1" heel. I wore this to a work gala and got so many compliments. It's really a unique dress! The color is also beautiful.

Try to keep this review short but this dress was amazing. Had pockets though I didn't really use them but still awesome when a dress has pockets! We had just gotten back from vacation so I gained a small tummy but the dress hid it well. Was thick material so kept me warm despite the cutouts. Was very comfortable. A little long but i'm short so I have that problem with everything! I wore 3+ in heels and was still carrying the dress when I walked and especially danced. The picture I posted isn't great cause of course we forget to ask anyone to take a full length picture of us at the wedding. I would recommend this dress. My only complaint is that it was too long. This is my 2nd time renting from RTR and I have nothing but great things to say about this service. Thank you!! Wish I had another event soon so I have a reason to rent again!

I loved this unique and sexy yet understated dress. I felt chic, comfortable, and classy. Plus it has pockets! I have a small bust and was able to go braless. The length was perfect for me at 5'6" with mid-height heels. I went with the 2R which was great (not too loose but not snug) on my 120lbs frame. Hate to send it back!

This was my first RTR and definitely will not be my last!! The plum color was amazing!! I ordered the 6L and the 8L. I honestly could have worn either. I was more comfortable in the 8L. I am 5' 9" and wore 3 inch heels. Length was perfect! Couldn't wear a bra, but it was perfectly fine. This dress was stunning! I received so many compliments! Such an easy process!

Loved this dress and got a ton of compliments. I hardly ever wear purple and have never worn cutouts so it was fun to step outside of my comfort zone in a small way. The cutouts sit right on your rib cage so a bra was definitely not an option, but the dress is tight enough (and my boobs small enough) that I was fine going without. I got the 6L and wore 3-inch heels and the length was perfect (I'm 5'6). The dress itself is fairly thick and has a liner so I would not recommend this for a hot summer day. But it was great for a March wedding. I was excited about the pockets as well but the dress was tight enough that you could see anything I put in the pocket (even an ID).
