Classic, pretty Eliz & James. Tiny bit longer than expected but fine.

This is an amazing dress for a petite frame. I was a little worried that the cutout would be uncomfortable or lead to weird bulging, but the cut was so nice and comfortable and flattering.

Wore this for date night and to my son's graduation. Felt beautiful!

I wore this to the winery for a friend's bachelorette weekend and I loved it! So many compliments. It is more of a navy blue than black.

Generally this brand is a little small so I ordered a size up, but I think I could've gone with the 4 as the 6 was a little roomy. But- it stayed in place and was so flattering nonetheless! I got so many compliments on this dress and it was perfect for an indoor winter blues type of wedding. It's edgy but still tasteful. I want to buy this dress - I am obsessed!

Love this fit and flare! The 4 was out of stock, so I rented both the 2 and 6. Both fit, but the 2 was slightly tighter, so I went with the 6. Honestly not much difference between the sizes! The dress is very comfortable and no fuss. I never had to worry about adjusting and wore a sticky bra with it although a bra wasn't needed. Fun dress to dance in and very flattering. My boyfriend did not want me to return it! I am 5'3" and 32B for reference.

Elizabeth and James dresses usually run small, and this is no exception, but it's more true to size than usual. The dress was a bit tight in the arm area, but was otherwise very flattering in the hip/waist flare. Material was on the thicker end, but was great for a cooler summer night.

Fit was wicked small. Usually wear a 6! But as always RTR came in clutch and sent me 2 more sizes within 24 hrs.

love this dress. i liked how the cutout detail gave a peek of my tattoo, and it fit so nicely. other reviews said the dress ran small so i wanted a 4, but only a 2 was available. the 2 still fit and looked very nice but was a little tight. might try the 4 next time.

(Excuse the dirty mirror). Wore this for girl's night out. I loved it! Definitely flattering -esp if you want to show off abs without being too revealing. Seriously considered purchasing!

Loved wearing this dress for my cousins wedding! It was a little different than the normal E&J dresses i usually rent so i was excited to wear. This one runs a little bit on the small side, which is typical for E&J. I usually wear a 2, but the 4 fit perfectly if not a little snug on me. Didn't get as many compliments on it, but i loved it! Great with a statement necklace.

The cut of this was perfect. The cut is high enough that everything I'm insecure about was covered. The material was also think and tight enough that I didn't need a bra. I was worried the dress might be short, but it ended up being just right. I ordered up because Elizabeth James usually runs small, but I think I could have worn a 6 and it would have been true to size.

Yes I usually wear a 0 and ended up wearing the 2 but it was still the best dress I have rented so far! It is always hard to find a dress to fit me right seeing as how I am so short but this was perfect in every way! Highly recommend!

This dress is probably my favorite RTW dress so far. If I ever have the opportunity to buy this dress I will. I received lots of compliments (even from strangers.) the fabric is not constricting or suffocating but it was sturdy enough for me to go braless in this dress. I think I could've gotten away with wearing a bra but I was afraid it would show on the bottom when I moved. I am a 32C-34D (depending on the brand/style) and this dress was made for that size chest. The cutout added an extra layer of sexiness without over doing it. Still appropriate for a church wedding but sexy enough to turn heads. :) Only complaint- the dress had a faint stain on the chest that was almost invisible but in the right lighting could be seen.

Love this dress. I typically avoid cutout anything when ordering online as it doesn't look the best on me 90 percent of the time. This dress was completely different - the cut out is high enough on the rib cage and the flared skirt made it super flattering on me

I normally wear a 2 in formal dresses, but the 2 in this dress was too snug across my chest. The 4 fit great and was a really nice, heavy material. Lots of compliments. It was a tad short on me (I'm 5'7 and was wearing four inch heels, for reference), but my event was a bit less formal so it worked. Would recommend!

The fabric is solid with a little give. Make sure you have some room for the inevitable, boozy bloat for a wedding.

This dress is amazing!! It definitely runs a size smaller than the average RTR dress, but so cute! The cutout made for a fun flare to the dress and was a great way to stay cool without feeling like you were going to flash everyone. The material was a fairly thick, so the wind doesn't cut through and it fits very nicely to your shape.

I'm usually wary of anything that draws attention to my stomach, but I LOVED this dress! The cutout hits at just the right spot to be flattering and not too revealing. Highly recommend this dress for any party. I got tons of compliments and it was comfortable all night!

Although I would have preferred one size up, the 6 fit well aside from being a little snug around the cut out. I think it still was flattering, just the first time I had worn a dress with that exposure. I was really happy with this dress, and the slightly heavy fabric made it nice for a winter event. I would highly recommend it!

The cut out was a bit bigger than I expected, but ended up loving it. The flare of the dress is perfect and the fabric is sturdy and doesnt wrinkle even when seated for a long period of time. This is on the shorter side (I'm only 5'3''), I wore shorts under for peace of mind :) top definitely fit very snug and I'm a 32B, so girls with bigger chests may want to size up!

My best friend wanted me to try something short and fun for a date night with the beau and being a 5' 10" woman with legs that are about three feet of that, I don't really like "short". But this dress made me feel like the sexiest woman alive. My legs looked great. And, in case you can't tell, I was forcing my belly out as my friend took the picture (I always do this in new dresses to see how much leeway I have). The cut-out sits so high up that it doesn't show bulging and all of your stomach pooching is completely camouflaged. I wear a size 10 and wore a size 10; the fit was true to size. I didn't wear a bra. The material was thick, so you couldn't see through. The color was beautiful. It looks true navy on the website, but is more of a black-blue color in real life. Great rental.

I wore this dress to my senior homecoming and I got so many compliments!! The fit is so flattering, it is so low maintenance (I didn't have to buy a special bra or anything), and it is great to dance in! I recommend this dress 100% and would definitely rent again!

I normally wear a size 0 but the 2 was much more comfortable. I am always conscious of my mid section when eating & drinking all night at a wedding, but for the most part, this worked well! I got a TON of compliments. Would highly recommend! Great for short girls like me as well. And you can wear a normal bra with it :)

I wore it for graduation and it was perfect. Thick fabric and very comfortable dress. I have big thighs and small chest and the dress was perfect for it - fit and flare. Got sizes 6 and 4 after reading the comments but 4 was good, a bit tight but flattering. I would buy it if I could and got so many compliments + was very comfortable all day. Can be dressed up or down.

This dress was amazing-super cute and flattering especially for the waistline yet still sexy and classic. Reading that this brand runs a little small, I ordered an 8 and a 10. I normally wear a 6 in dresses. I ended up wearing the 8- it fit perfectly and was super comfortable despite eating, drinking and dancing all night. Can be a little awkward with the front cut out when sitting down but nothing major or deal breaking. My boyfriend was a huge fan of it too. I loved this dress so much that I rented it again for another wedding I have next weekend- can't say enough good things :).

Haven't rented an Elizabeth James dress that I wasn't crazy about! Love them all. Cut outs always are just enough skin but still classy. I am only 5 ft and cut out still fell fine on me. Was a little long for a mini dress but I didn't mind that. Could pair with any accessories. Would recommend.

The dress was super comfy, the material was stretchy and soft. I loved the fit of this dress. It is very flattering. At first I wasn't sure the size 4 would fit because it seemed like it would be too snug for my liking, but as I wore it around for a little while the fabric stretched more and the dress fit perfectly just the way I wanted it to. I was very pleased with this service. I am going to rent again in November for another wedding that I am attending.

Contoured perfectly to my body. Didn't have to wear a bar which is always a plus. Loved the opening and the thick, forgiving material. Runs on the slightly smaller side but almost true to size.

Loved this look! The open stomach area gave it a little sexiness while the dress itself was a thicker material, easy to dance in without riding up and very comfortable. Highly recommend!
