My regular size was too tight so I sized up. Wore it for a wedding and loved it!

I love this dress so much that I rented it twice! The first time I rented it, I weighed less (~135lbs, 5'6") - I wore the size 6 and the dress fit like a GLOVE, absolutely perfect in every aspect. I was a little nervous to rent it again after some weight gain (~145lbs) so I sized up to the 8, and once again, I had a pretty great experience. (The picture is from my second rental). This dress hugs your body in the all the right ways - my biggest problem the second time around was in the hips, which is where I gained the majority of the weight. I had a little bit of that bunching and pulling in the front that happens when a dress is too tight in the hips, but as long as I remembered to pull the dress down every so often, it wasn't so bad. The dress still fit well around my chest and waist and I was very comfortable the whole night. There was a little extra material puffing out in the stomach area which I think was due to the wide hips issue. Overall, I'd say to just be careful if you know you have a wide hip situation, but even then, order the backup size as one larger to be safe. I received so many compliments in this dress, and so many people told me to just buy it - I highly recommend!

I loved this dress! Loved the satin and the cut out details. It's pretty fitted throughout so worked for my smaller chest.

It's a little tight in the bust area, so if you're busty, this might be one to avoid. Other than that, the cutouts were strategically placed so that they're flattering (even with love handles!) and the shape was lovely. It was flirty without being toooo sexy. If I had purchased this dress, I would not have regretted it at all.

Wore this dress for a wedding, it wasn't my 1st choice but I am glad I decided to get this dress, the cutouts were just the perfect touch to give just enough sex appeal. The fit was a bit on the tighter side so may want to go up 1 or 2 sizes maybe. It was the perfect color for a fall wedding and got lots of compliments!!! 10/10 would recommend!!!

Rented an 8 & a 10, wore the 10, the 8 fit but was a bit snug for the event I was attending. Overall grey fit!

The fit was beautiful. I wasn't crazy about the side cutouts but they were subtle enough. I'm a 34D and was nervous the dress wouldn't work, but I felt remarkably supported (and didn't wear a bra). Perfect for a hourglass or pear shape figure. Thick fabric that drapes beautifully.

This dress fit like a glove. It wears true to size but you might want to grab an extra size up just in case. The cutouts and spaghetti straps give the dress sex appeal without being too much, and the material has a rich color and beautiful feel. It was perfect for a holiday cocktail party at a friend's house.

I loved this dress - it was extremely flattering and the material was thick and supportive. The only issue I had was some light bunching in the front around he waist - it was a bit tight on the hips (I have hips and a butt) and didn't have a slit so t required small steps.... but I definitely danced the night away without any concerns and it photographed beautifully.

The dress fit perfectly and I got several compliments. It's not the easiest dress to dance in but that wasn't my main concern. The only bad thing I have to say, but has nothing to do with the dress itself, was the shipping process. The package came a day late, which can be understandably stressful when you're relying on a dress for a certain event. Other than that, I had a good experience with the dress.

I usually run between a 10 and a 12. I have a tiny chest, big hips and butt and a middle that carried twins but, is recovering ;). The reviews were really helpful in informing me that the dress runs a little small. So, the 12 worked great for me! The straps (not adjustable) were a little loose, and I had to slide them back up a few times throughout the day, but no major issues. It was comfortable enough for me to spend the day in it as the bride's personal attendant. And I got TONS of compliments on it from other guests. I usually go for a more conservative look (i.e. my first time ever with cutouts) but, they're subtle, and I felt sexy and classy all at the same time. Great dress!

Great date night dress! Got away without wearing a bra, as it was tight enough up top. There was a little extra room in the hips, but I don't have much of a butt at all.

Great choice for wedding guest dress! Beautiful color and high quality fabric. Didn't have to wear a bra but also didn't feel suffocated in the chest area. Perfect fit all around! I am 5'5", 125 lbs and 34C cup and the size 4 fit great. Only down side -- there wasn't much mobility for legs around the bottom of the dress. Could still dance just felt a little restricted!

I wore this to my boyfriends barristers ball and received a ton of compliments. The color is great. It fit well all through out and was easy to move it. The material is on this thicker side which is nice and I did not need to wear a bra with the dress. I would rent this again!

Loved wearing this dress but it definitely does not hide imperfections. Definitely recommend if you're comfortable in your skin!

THIS WAS NOT FOR ME - but for my gorgeous child! She is a size 2 and it fit true to size with no room for error. She has a natural hourglass shape and a 4 might have been too baggy in waist. She is a 34B/C and is 5'4". This was just enough peek-a-boo of skin to be classy but also sexy. GREAT dress with a well-constructed feel.

Wore this to my company holiday party. Stood out among all the LBDs. The chest area is a little revealing but I felt fine all night. The length of the dress helps to class it up. Overall recommend.

I absolutely loved everything about this dress. I wore it to a corporate holiday party at a restuarant the first night. It was a little dressy for that party but i got a ton of compliments. I did hair down with a pearl necklace, makeup was a neutral lip and smoky eyes. The side cutouts were very classy and sexy. The length was perfect. The second night i wore it to a slightly more formal corporate holiday party at the National Portrait Gallery and it was the perfect cocktail dress. Again - a ton of compliments. The second night i wore my hair up with chandelier earrings, no necklace, and added black satin opera gloves, makeup was soft eyes with a bold plum lip that matched the dress perfectly. I felt more beautiful in this dress than i ever have. If i could give it 10 stars, i would in a heartbeat. Im sure i will rent it again.

This dress is gorgeous! The color, the slits - it's sexy, but not too sexy. I wore this to a wedding and got so many compliments. It is very flattering as well - it did a good job at hiding my tummy. It was actually even a little baggy in that area as you can see in the picture. The only issue I had was that the straps kept falling down, but that may be because I don't have that big of a chest. I didn't wear a bra with this dress either - it wasn't necessary and it would have been a pain to find a bra that I could wear with the dress.

This dress was perfect for a New Orleans fall wedding. I was skeptical about the cut outs being too revealing for a wedding but they were perfect! I forgot they were there. I am usually between a 2-4 in dresses and I ordered the 4 and 6 based on other reviews. The 4 was perfect. I think the 2 would have been too small. The fabric was thick enough to be very flattering. Due to the NOLA heat, I didn't wear any shapewear and it still was flattering. I have hips and a butt and dresses without slits usually pull too much when sitting, but this was not the case. Definitely try sitting down before you wear it to make sure it isn't too tight. I was sad to return this, wish I could have kept it. Thank you RTR!

This dress is very pretty and just a tad sexy. The color is a true burgundy. I was worried about the cutouts because I am conservative, but they don't show much skin at all, I even forgot they were there. The fabric is thick and there is no give....at all. There is no slit so it's difficult to sit or get in and out of the car. You can not wear a strapless bra because of the cut outs, so I wore a sticky gel backless bra. I wear a B cup and the top fit perfectly. The straps were fine for me. It fits like a glove in the rib area, (I have a slim athletic build) so if you're on the curvier side I'd recommend sizing up. But all in all very pretty! They sent this as a backup dress but I would definitely rent it again.

When you walk in a room and see all the boys' dates staring at you, you know you've done good. This dress was stellar, incredibly flattering and stylish and awesome. The straps fell a bit but I have a smaller chest so that probably would've solved it. No bra needed, always a plus. It was true to size. No one in the reviews mentioned how incredibly forgiving this is! I didn't even wear spanx.

I rented this dress for a New Year's Eve celebration and loved it. Very comfortable fit. The *only* thing I would say is that the top was a little loose on me but I've got a pair-shaped body so that has a lot to do with that! Loved the dress.

This Cynthia Rowley piece is sexy, yet cocktail appropriate! This over the knee style runs a bit small, so we definitely recommend sizing up for backup. It is very fitted in the bust area as well as throughout the waist and hips. This style should be worn with a strapless bra or no bra. Pair with strappy heels and minimal jewelry for a sleek look!

I read that the review mentioned the dress ran small however I've been an 8 for awhile now and I felt this looked perfect on my figure and wasn't tight in any particular part of the dress where it wasn't supposed to. It was a little hard to bend over and strap my shoes when I was sitting down but other than that it fit perfectly. I loved the texture, feel, and look of the dress!! Perfect to wear without a bra, and the slits are an added bonus. I wore this for a surprise birthday dinner with my boyfriend and I thought it couldn't have been more perfect. Even when I was sitting down for a long time the back of the dress didn't look wrinkly as most do after awhile. This was a very classy dress and I was impressed!!

This was my backup dress and I couldn't pass it up. I ended up not liking my 1st choice and this one fit Perfectly. I was disappointed to send back. I expected the 8 to be too large and the 6 was unavailable as it was a last minute order. Thank goodness for throwing this is as a last resort 2nd choice. Will def use RTR again! I wore this to a rehearsal dinner and loved it! It does run a bit small - I normally wear a 0 in dresses, and although the 0 fit, it was a bit tighter than I wanted it to be. The 2 fit perfectly. The dress is a great material, the cutouts are subtle, and it was very flattering. Highly recommend!
