I'm 5'8, about 135ish pounds, and typically wear a size 4 in street clothes, so the size 4 was perfect. The material has a little bit of stretch, but not a whole lot. I wore this without a bra and felt comfortable all night. I got several compliments and a lot of head turns when I got to the venue. If you don't like being a disco ball of glamour, don't rent the dress.

First time renter. I was a little skeptical about the process but it could not be any easier. The dress was amazing and looked beautiful. I received a ton of compliments on it. It has more of a nude undertone along with gold to help with shoes, purse and earrings. I don't think i will ever buy another dress again for a wedding or an event.

I almost didn't order this dress. I had a promotion for a free second style, and boy, am I glad I used it! The dress I had selected didn't work out, so this was my backup. It.was.stunning. I was nervous that it wouldn't fit and I only had one size, but the 2 was perfect. The material is stretchy but it wasn't too tight. The back stayed up perfectly. It hit just above my knees I'm 5'2). It didn't look cheap, as sequins can tend to do. I felt so elegant and got so many compliments. And it was comfortable! No chafing and it wasn't too hot. I used nursing pads (ha!) as a makeshift sticky bra. Didn't work too well but you couldn't tell. My mom saw a picture and told me I should buy the dress. Kind of wish I had!

It was a bit tight. But I should have worn better spanx. And a different bra as well. But loved the dress. I got lots of compliments.

I wore this to a Hollywood Glam themed wedding. The dress fits true to size. The material is stretchy. The sequin did not bother me, the dress is lined. I got lots of compliments all night long in this dress. I paired it with black shoes and black and gold accessories. The material is breathable and not heavy at all. It was a last minute choice. I wore this to a Diwali party and it was sparkly enough to fit right in with all the beautiful saris. The draping in the back is truly gorgeous and so flattering. I didn't need to wear a bra. I did decide to wear high waisted shaping underwear to feel even more confident. I loved the dress, felt comfortable and beautiful, and got many compliments.

Oh my goodness I felt like a rockstar. I got so many compliments and envious looks wearing this to the theatrical biopic "Tina." I had to wear nude shapewear because of the low scoop back and skip wearing a bra which is something I never do, but I felt so comfortable and sexy at the same time. I wore this with the Unreal Fur Black Camille Faux Fur Cape as more of a shrug and it all worked together amazingly. I can't recommend this enough.

Loved this dress! I wore it to the Gold Gala, a fundraising event for childhood cancer awareness. I got so many compliments on the dress! The fit was PERFECT, I was afraid it was going to be too big, it’s a nice stretchy material, fit like a glove 😉 One picture is the back the day I tried it on, the other is us at the event!

This dress was super cute- fitted, yet very comfortable to wear all night. I'm 18 weeks pregnant and the dress worked perfectly.

Perfect fit but I wouldn't have felt comfortable without Spanx, stockings or a strapless bra.

I wore this to a wedding in NYC at the start of my third trimester. I loved it! It fit my bump perfectly and snugly, and was super fun and comfortable. I didn't wear a bra -- but because the dress was tight and thick and covered in sequins, it didn't matter (even with a very full C cup). I'm normally a size 2 or 4, and I went with the 2; the 4 had some gapping around my bump. It was a great length, too -- I never felt like I was pulling it down. Would definitely recommend for any pregnant people out there!

This dress was super comfy! Great fit, nice length, very pretty color. Be careful when taking on and off a coat with this dress, as the sequins will snag. Highly recommend this dress. I felt really pretty in it and the cutout back is very sexy and classy.

Absolutely gorgeous gold and shimmery dress! I got compliments all night! I was nervous the front would be too conservative but the front of the dress is just as sexy as the back is dramatic. It fit like a dream. I did wear spanx to keep it all in. My only complaint is that the sleeve material was a little scratchy during dancing but well worth the minor discomfort. I would absolutely rent this again! This dress knocked it out of the park!

Rented this for a roaring 20's party - had every intention of wearing it with fun accessories, but the event was cancelled. Such a beautiful, fun, sparkly dress. Love the back, too (but it can't be worn with a bra). Would rent again if the need arises for something flashy!

This rental was for my golden birthday (woohoo 28!!!) in Vegas. I got size 10/12 (my usual) but I found that I could go a size down even because this dress had decent space. I loved the drape across the back! Had plenty of room to move around and dance, I felt like it accentuated my shape well. I thought I would hate the sequins being all scratchy or something but it was not a bother at all. Definitely have a care with hair though, it grabs everything. 10/10 would recommend this dress.

I LOVE THIS DRESS! The back was definitely a show-stopper and the length was perfect. I received an unbelievable number of compliments and felt like a queen! The dress runs a little small because I had to size up from my normal 16W, however after sizing up to an 18W it fit like a dream! I will definitely be using Rent the Runway again!!

This dress fit true to size. It was comfortable and could be worn while dancing. You can wear undergarments and use fabric tape to adjust the back opening to cover them. I would totally purchase this dress if I could.

What can I say, I just loved this dress. I wore this to my friend's bachelorette party in Vegas and it was a big hit. I had originally ordered a size 16 in a similar style but it was too small in the waist. So Rent The Runway sent this dress as a replacement and the 18 fit perfectly. This dress is all about the back so make sure you have an adhesive bra or you stock up on safety pins--especially if you have large natural breasts.

I usually wear a 16W. Learned the hard way that Badgley Mischka dresses tend to run a size smaller. RTR was great and overnighted me this dress when my first set of dresses didn't fit. Didn't need to wear a bra - which was a crazy, amazing surprise! Especially for someone as well endowed as I am. Seriously, no cons. All pros. Perfect dress and I couldn't recommend it more highly!

The dress is form fitting yet stretchy, so I think it'd fit a lot of people. For that reason, I'd actually recommend going a size down if you're on the fence. The back will show a bra band so you can't wear one. I'm pretty tall (6'0) and it wasn't too short.
