I rented this dress to wear for our Christmas card photo session, but with a slight change....I added a denim shirt on top to tone it down where it looked like I was wearing a sequin skirt instead of a dress. The photographer raved about the dress! Great option to be worn alone as a dress or with a jacket/shirt/sweater over for a completely different look!

I honestly cannot say enough about how incredible this dress was for me. I wore it to a very formal black tie affair in London. I got a million compliments on it from everyone at the event and then from everyone I know who saw pictures. This is hands down the most beautiful dress I've ever worn! It did run a bit large, as I'm usually a 2 or 4 and I was a 2. I'm also 5'7" and the length was perfect with 3 inch heels. A long would have been too long.

This was my backup dress because my first choice was too big. This dress runs true to size- I wore a 4R and I am 5 ft 4 in and about 115 lbs. The 2R probably would have fit me better, but only the 4 was available. It was a little large on top (I'm a 32/34 A). The length was actually perfect for me- I wore three inch heels with the gown. I will definitely be using rent the runway again!

I am 5'2" 118lbs and have an athletic build (thicker legs.) I did not receive the 0, so had to wear the 2R, which fit great but I think I could have worn the 0R. The dress is long. I had to wear 5 inch heals and it still had a little bit of a train. When you put it on you will find a way to make the length work. The dress is gorgeous. I didn't find the weight of the dress to be too heavy to where I noticed it once it was on. Super comfortable!

I absolutely loved this dress! This was my first time using RTR and I will say that it won't be my last. The dress was extremely comfortable and very beautiful in person. I rented this dress for my Mardi Gras Ball and was able to dance all night in it as it had more give than I imagined. I was really nervous about choosing a size however having so many other reviews and pictures to base my decision on made it so much easier! Thank you RTR!

I was a little nervous about how it was going to fit, but it honestly fit like a glove. If it didnt though, I was so happy that it came with another size. The v was a little deep and since I have 34D-DD boobs, it was a little revealing. I wore 4.5 inch heels and the length was perfect.

There was a mishap where the size I ordered (2R) was returned to RTR damaged beyond repair so they couldn't ship me out a new one and so I just got my extra size which I ended up wearing (the 4R). There was a little too much fabric in the chest/shoulder area and it was loose-fitting through the waist/hips, but my sister (the bride) wanted me to wear this, and I could not deny this dress once I put it on!! I ended up using some bra inserts to give me a little lift and because of the room in the hips the dress was super comfortable! I cannot possibly count all of the compliments I got on this dress it is a show-stopper for sure. Love love love and will look for any excuse to wear it again!

Although more formal than most other NYE party dresses, this dress stood out as elegant and beautiful. It's flattering, comfortable and allows a regular bra. You don't need to bother with spanx! At 5'6 and 1/2", I wore heels (but not platforms) and it skimmed my toes in front, leaving about a 2 inch train. I received compliments (primarily from women!) all evening. This is a must-rent!

This dress is gorgeous! I wore it to a NYE ball and while most of the women were wearing short cocktail dresses I was happy I wore this gown. I had countless people stop me to say how beautiful it was. I could have worn the 2R except for the chest area. It squeezed me a little more than I would like so I went with the 4R. I had to wear 6 in heels in order to prevent too much dragging, although the dress still touched the floor. It's a bit longer in the back which made it really easy to walk in without stepping on. We danced for hours and had no issues with the dress. The color is definitely more in the brown family while I had originally thought it had some silver tone to it based on the pics. There is no silver at all. I would recommend this to anyone! LOVE RTR!! In fact, all my table mates at the ball wanted to know all about RTR!

Have never received so many compliments on a dress in my life. It was also completely comfortable to wear all night. It runs slightly big so if you're between sizes I would size down. I'm usually a 0-2 and the 0R fit perfectly. If you have a black tie occasion you should 100% rent this.

I'm obsessed. This dress was every thing I wanted it to be and more! First when you remove it from the bag you're like oh lord this is gonna be heavy, but once it's on you don't feel a thing. The comfort level of a gown like this was insane! Some had said the sequins would rub at times and ladies, I think we've managed to put up with that once or twice for the sake of fashion. Bonus Perk: the gown gives you a killer hour glass figure...hello hips! The intricate detail itself on the gown is just stunning. It's very different but in the most amazing way. The straps are even wide enough to wear a legit bra under! I got compliments the whole night and I feel that overall it was such a classic look. I would buy this dress and wear it every day of my life if I wasn't a struggling college student, but I guess a one night affair will have to do.

I had so much fun wearing this dress and got a ton of compliments! I am a 5' 8" -- wore a 4L with 3 inch heels; it fit perfectly and hit the floor exactly how a gown should. The material is pretty thick so can get a little hot, definitely more of a fall/winter dress.

Fantastic dress! I received so many compliments throughout the evening! Everyone kept telling me how fabulous I looked and asked where I bought the dress. Renting is way better than buying! It fit perfectly, and I am bigger on the top and straight through the hips. It fit everywhere and gave me an hourglass effect. Pros: showstopper dress, well made and high quality. Not as heavy as people mentioned and the sequence did not bother my arms as it did other reviewers. So different and brings attention, in a good way :) Cons: seemed a little longer than other Regular length gowns, but I wore 4.5in heels and it just barely brushed the ground. I am 5'3 fyi.

I wore this for a black tie affair and it was the perfect dress. All over it made me feel beautiful! A regular bra can be worn- HURRAH! I wore 4" heels and the length was perfect. I would suggest this to anyone who needs a gown and doesn't need to wear a jacket- it would be hard to find one to go with this dress and a shame to cover it up.

This dress is gorgeous, perfect for a black tie wedding! True to size. The fit was fantastic surprisingly comfortable, it fit perfectly everywhere but the lenght runs short I´m 5´4 and it was a little bit shorter than I expected, but not a big deal. It´s perfect, elegant, unique. 100% recommendable. One more thing: It´s not that heavy! I loved wearing it!

The dress fit like a glove. My stylist based on my choices picked a dress from their large inventory that is not online. I was so happy that it was unique and no one had a dress like it. It was for my brother's wedding and I so relieved by the whole experience. I got earrings as suggested by my stylist. After the wedding popped the dress in the bag and left it at the hotel to mail. I ordered this dress three days before my prom after the dress I originally wanted got ruined by the previous renter. I didn't even know if I liked it, but when i tried it on it was as if this dress was my long lost twin sister in dress form. It's seriously gorgeous. I may have cried a little when I had to send it back. Its perfect in every way. (well actually it was a bit long for dancing) but its ****flawless.

This was my first time trying RTR and I was a little nervous. However, ones I saw the dress I knew I had made the right choice. Even though I usually wear a 4 and that's what I initially ordered....thank god for a free back up size because the 2 fit amazing since the 4 was a little to big. This dress was beyond gorgeous and I felt absolutely beautiful in it. Let's not forget the fact that everyone was at awwww when they saw me. :)

Got tons of compliments on this dress - it was a bit heavy , but that's to be expected. As other reviewers have mentioned, I would get the long if you're 5'6" or over. It is definitely glam to the max!! My only complaint is that I ordered this dress in two sizes and because the second size was damaged, I received an alternative "upgraded" dress. Although the second option was more expensive to rent, it received bad reviews and was not in my "favorites." It even felt a little Mother of the Bride. I'm just glad this one worked out! I highly recommend this to anyone going to a black tie event!

The dress was extremely well made. The material was heavy and exceptionally form fitting. Above all it photographs beautifully. I felt like a million dollars wearing this dress for the night!

Hands down the BEST dress I have EVER worn! I wore this to the Tony awards this past week and felt like a celebrity! And a celebrity (Kevin Bacon) even did a double take when I walked past him (no joke -- that really happened!) Sleek, elegant, attention drawing yet tasteful. When I first tried this on my boyfriend's jaw dropped! The fit was snug in all the right places and I loved being able to wear a regular bra. I'm 5'2" so I had to wear 4 inch heels with the dress to make it the right length on my body -- even the regular is long! And this dress is heavy-- RTR will send you two separate return envelopes for this rental. If I could I would wear this dress every day! If RTR ever sells this dress I am buying it!

Vintage Glam- I had people complimenting me all night!! I felt stunning and confident. The back of the dress is a few inches longer then the front and I did have one or two people step on the back but it wasn't a huge issue. The flow of the dress when you walk was my favorite- felt like I was on the red carpet! I wore a regular bra, no issues with it showing. I wore 4 inch beige heels.

Great dress, unique and very elegant. The fit is true to size. It is a dress that needs to be worn with tall heals because it is a bit long. You have to be careful when you walk as my heal got stuck a couple of times with the dress. Overall great gown!

The fit was fantastic, especially for girls like me with smaller chests! The dress hugs every curve without being too tight, and was very comfortable for long term wear. (Plus- you can wear a regular bra!) I would recommend smooth heels though, my original shoes had sequins and I was worried they would catch on the inside of the dress. That being said, you don't need a lot of jewelry with this- the dress is a jewel in and of itself. The dress doesn't wear you, YOU wear the dress and feel great doing it. It is on the heavier side but is not uncomfortably heavy. I spent the entire night gliding across the dancefloor and shaking it with my friends and got SO many compliments. I would definitely recommend this dress 100 times because it really is magnificent!

The fit was true to size. The color of the gown and the intricate beading was absolutely gorgeous. However, I did find that the beading would sometimes catch to itself at the hem, other than that the dress is perfect and I would recommend it for any special occasion. The dress was comfortable and moved beautifully. I received many compliments all night and I would absolutely rent this dress again.

This is one of my favorite dresses so far! Pros: Gorgeous color, great on every skin tone! It made my boyish figure have such a great shape! Sexy but not scandalous. I can wear a normal bra!! Great fabric and flow. Cons: so so so heavy, I mean this dress weighs about 2 lbs! I ordered a 0R and my back up was the 2R. They fit virtually the same! I think the 2 was about an inch longer, but it fit exactly the same. I would've like to have worn the 0 since it was shorter, but the fabric around the neck and waistline was wrinkled. I tried steaming and ironing, but it was really set in. Minor detail, but it made my skin look a bit wrinkly from a distance. The 2 fit the same and was not wrinkly. I'm 5'5 and wore 4 inch heels and the dress was just touching the ground, so for stairs and longer walks I had to lift it up. Like another reviewer stated, the sequins and the back and bottom of the dress will get caught in your heels a bit, so no fast walking! :) The fabric is very thick and heavy. The heavy wasn't all that bad since the dress always fell perfectly without having to adjust it. The thickness didn't bother me too much since I was indoors and in air-conditioning, but for any outdoor event in summer, this will make you sweat. I was sweating trying it on in my house! lol. All in all, I received the most compliments all night long. A lot of other women were wearing sequins, but the pattern on this dress makes it so much more interesting and different. Side note* another reviewer stated she received 2 bags bc of the weight of the dress, but I only received one. I asked the style specialist and was told one bag to return is fine. It is very difficult to squeeze these heavy beautiful gowns into one bag. Two return bags would be helpful for this particular gown.

I have a very small torso so it was a little bit large there, but nothing awful. Other than that I absolutely adored this dress, and I felt like a million bucks. I'm so sad I had to send it back.

The fit was great. The sequins under the right arm were horrible though! Scratched my arm so bad hat we had to bandage it during the wedding to keep it from getting worse!

The dress was beautiful; I felt like I was walking on the red carpet! The dress fit perfectly everywhere except for the chest -- it was gigantic! I wear a 34B (A.K.A I have pretty small boobs); however, the cut of the dress was very deep and the fabric was gaping around my chest. If I were to even slightly slouch my shoulders you could see down my bra. Luckily, my step-mom was able to work in some quick-fixes to get the dress to fit perfectly and I was able to feel 100% beautiful and comfortable.
