I really enjoyed wearing this dress for a bachelorette weekend in Charleston. The dress is great for traveling and is so flattering I didn't want to take it off. In fact, I wore it again for a dinner out the night I returned home. It can be styled in a million different ways. Definitely ran a bit small - I'd recommend getting your typical size plus one size up.

This dress fit great! It was simple, yet perfect for wearing to a Kennedy Center performance.

This dress was very flattering! It was fitted around the chest and and ribcage, but flowy around the belly so hide that trouble zone. All through the night I received compliments on the dress. I wore it to a charity event that required cocktail attire. The length is perfect for petities, but the straps are long so I had to use double sided tape to keep them from falling down. I would love to own this dress as it is a perfect "go to" little black dress.

This is a great date night dress. It fit well, but I would have liked it a little more form fitting. If you are looking for a cute LBD rent this one!

I wore this dress to a dance and received many compliments (including the zipper that goes ALL the way down). The fabric of the dress looks and feels expensive. It is a very classy dress and you definitely feel like a million bucks while wearing it.

I wore this dress for a wedding at a vineyard in the finger lakes region of NY. I loved it and got a bunch of compliments on it. My only issue was that the small was a little too small and the medium was a little too big. I think the medium may have been stretched out or something. I ended up wearing the medium and it wasn't really a problem other than the straps sliding down a few times and it gapped a little bit under the arms (which was probably only noticeable to me). I'd recommend it.

adorable dress! i wore it to a homecoming dance and it fit great except i have a large ribcage so the waist band fit a bit awkwardly but other than that i had a great time in it and it suited my personality well

I rented this for a Breakfast at Tiffany's themed bridal shower. It was the perfect little black dress. It was so comfortable and fit like a glove.

Size rented: 0 Fit: Not as fitted as I would have preferred in the bust area, nor the hips. The waist was comfortably fitted. Length: Mid-thigh (same as shown on model) I wore this for a fashion week event (a LBD event). I thought it had more of a sheen/shine to it and it's definitely more of a classic style. The fit was a bit large on me. I have some curves (around the waist to hip area) and thought this dress would emphasize that a bit. It turned out looking a little box-y on me. (see first picture) I had to constantly be posing and shifting the weight on my hips to make it look like it does on the model. The bust area was a bit large on me. I thought I could go without a bra but it looked too loose. Although, I do have a smaller chest (32" A). This is emphasized a bit more in my crappy cell phone/mirror picture.

This was the perfect LBD! The fitted waist makes it super flattering. Great service- will definitely rent again!

This dress looks a little plain, but once you try it on, it's cute, flirty, and a little sporty all at the same time. My bust is on the smaller side, but the top fit well, so I'm guessing bustier girls might have an issue with sizing on this one.

I wore this to a charity event and received many compliments. My torso is on the shorter side and the straps were a tiny bit long, but it still looked great. It's simple and sleek and the quality that I love from Alice & Olivia

I wore this dress to a rehearsal dinner- and then because I loved it so much wore it for a night out with a jacket over it! My only concern with the dress was that it was a little tight on my bust even with the larger size. I would've worn the medium if it hadn't been for the top part of the dress being too small. For girls with larger busts I would suggest getting a size up, otherwise it was true to size!

I wore this to a rehearsal dinner and absolutely loved it. It is very comfortable, fits true to size, ver flattering! I was worried about the length but actually wore it with snappy sandals and it looked great. The folds in the bottom half/skirt portion make it a little more unique than your typical black dress. I would definitely rent this again.

This was my first rental and it was a great experience! I love the design of this dress, very fitting from the waist up. It was a hit with my friends, too. If you can't tell from the website picture the zipper in the back goes all the way from the top to bottom of the dress, which I was pleasantly surprised to see. Only concern for me was the straps because of my narrow shoulders, but double stick tape did the trick and kept them in place all night.

I just needed a simple dress to wear for a friend's birthday party and this dress was perfect. Its very flattering and I received many compliments.

This dress was perfect for my bf's holiday party! It looked great- very classy and conservative without being boring. I do have a larger chest and it was pretty tight up top though. Besides that it was amazing, I definitely recommend it and will probably rent it again!

Great dress! I was worried about it being too short and while it was shorter than most things I normally wear the more conservative top made the overall look fun and classy. I'm small busted with wider hips, so it was a bit loose on top (the fabric tape came in handy) and a bit tight through the hip but the cut and fabric were very forgiving and overall it looked cute, especially with the awesome necklace I rented to go with. The size was a true fit- I'm usually a Medium and ordered a Large as a backup but didn't need it. This was my first RTR experience and I will definitely be back!

I wore this to a graduate school event, which is always tricky because you want to be cute/sexy, but not inappropriate (especially when faculty and alumni are around). I'm usually a 0, 2, and rented the S, XS, and the S was nothing special when I tried it on, but the XS was gorgeous (i.e., fit is really important)! I got tons of compliments, both from students (my age) and faculty (but it wasn't creepy because the dress really is appropriate). I'm very tall and have long legs, which I think helped "up" the sex-appeal, but it's still a great fit and very flattering, very structured, and form-fitting in the right places. I'd definitely rent it again, and wish I owned it for all of those sort of in-the-middle events I have coming up!

I rented this dress for a dinner and of the 5 dresses I have rented from RTR, this one has been my favorite by far. I liked it so much that I called and attempted to extend my rental period so I could wear it for a date. (I wasn't surprised to hear that it had to be returned for someone else.) The zipper in the back goes all the way down the dress which is incredibly unique. The straps are wonderful and allow for a bra. I am a DD and can never get away without wearing a bra. The skirt of the dress adds just enough style without getting too large and overwhelming. I love this dress and will be renting it again.

This dress looked amazing, it cinched my waist and made my A/B chest look full. At 5'8" it was quite short but not too short to wear! I'd rent it again.

The fabric of the dress is a lot different than i thought it would be. It looked way to professional for my event. I was going to a dance and I looked like I was going to the office. the fabric is like the fabric for slacks or a suit. It was also pretty long on me, or at least longer than I thought it would be and you cant hem it because the zipper goes all the way down to the bottom. The straps fall off easily. So if your under like 20 and going to something fun I wouldn't recommend this dress. However, it is really cute and I think it would work great for like a work event.

I loved this dress! I wore it to an engagement party and it was a hit! It is very tailored and structured but you can still move and dance comfortably. The straps were a bit loose on my shorter frame but it was nothing a little fashion tape couldn't fix.

I rented this dress for my sorority's semi formal and I received so many compliments! I usually wear a 0-2 and the extra small fit perfectly. I'm a 32D so it was a little tight in the bust but it worked out so I didn't have to wear a bra. I would definitely recommended renting this dress!

I'm 5'3" 120, 32B and i wore a 0. It fit great, and I didn't notice too much of an issue in the bust like some reviewers have mentioned. I really loved it, but it is quite short. Didn't want to take it off or return it! Such a wonderful dress.

A gorgeous dress for any cocktail-esque event. Wore it to an awards ceremony, and got great compliments. The only thing to be aware of is the rather large chest area -- I wore an extra small that fit my bust, but was a bit snug throughout the rest of the dress.

Wore the XS, fit great it was a little tight around the bust which means no bra & great support...the waist band was also tight but it kept me from over eating! It fit great, I got compliments from strangers and was comfy all night

I rented this dress for my semi-formal and i absolutely love it. Fits perfect and everyone was complementing on it. I highly suggest you rent this dress it is really comfortable and easy to dance in! I ordered it in a small and medium and ended up wearing the small. AWESOME DRESS

I wore this dress to a wedding in January. It's extremely flattering and perfect if your problem area is your tummy. The dress allowed the focal point to be on my legs and how narrow it made my waist look. It's very elegant looking. I order a small and a medium and ending up wearing the medium. The small fit, but was a bit snug for me.

I wore this dress to an evening wedding and I could have given the bride a run for her money. This dress is so much more chic and modern, well tailored and flattering. I have a large chest for my size, 32DD and the fit was just fine in the small.

I absolutely loved this dress! So classy, elegant and a throw back to the 60s (very Mad Menish, if you will). Wore it with lots of pearls, black classic pumps and a black clutch. I would wear this dress again - travels great and maintains a great look throughout your length of wearing it. One thing to note - it is very tight in the bust, but fits great everywhere else.
