Dress is a little darker than I expected, but fit beautifully. 16W was originally my backup size, glad I got it along with the 18W! Lots of compliments, felt great in it

I had no problems at all. I did have to press the belt . I thought it was very tasteful and it was right on trend for a winter wedding.

The size ended up working great based on the comments, was able to get a size smaller!

I wore this to a more relaxed rehearsal dinner for my friend's wedding. Had a great time and the dress felt comfortable. Just be careful wearing bracelets because the material would be prone to snagging.

Absolutely loved this dress. It fit like a glove and worked perfectly for my body. All night people were telling me it made me look skinny! I would definitely recommend this dress for anyone.

This dress fit her perfect. She looked as if she could walk a runway herself. It was exactly her size. She looked very delicate and was very comfortable with it. The fabric was soft to the touch and our entire family loved the dress and her in it. I would recommend this dress for any occasion.

The fit was great, especially for the "pear-shape." The blue is a little bit darker than it looks like in the promo picture, but it's still a beautiful blue. It hit a little lower than my knees (5'7"), but it was a great length. The slip underneath is a little bit short, especially when you sit down. Overall, it's a great dress!

This dress is great for a not super formal wedding. I liked how it fit for the most part but felt like the arm holes were a little small. It was really fun to twirl in the dress! The slip lining rides up when you sit so you need to be careful! I'd wear it again.

Very roomy and comfortable. I usually wear between a 14 and and 16 and this 14 was very roomy. I am a 36G so this is not something I am accused to. I added my own wide elastic black belt for better waist definition that the included black ribbon. The high neck wasn't the most flattering for my bust but not a fault of there dress. The fabric has great drape and the skirt with the layers has a lot of movement. Got lots of compliments. If only it had a v neck, it would have been absolutely perfect.

The dress was so very comfortable, and perfect for an outdoor event. My son got married and it was the perfect dress for the occasion. The sash didn't come with it, and the customer service was great about sending other dresses but I decided to use my own belt since this one was the perfect dress. I would recommend it highly. It does run big, I normally wear a 16W but the 14W fit great.

Great dress. I normally wear a 14 dress and this dress run slightly large and I would have preferred a 12 but I got a larger 2nd dress due to my large bust

I loved this dress, as long as I was standing up. When I was sitting down the lining rode up a lot and the lace fell strangely. I also kept catching things in the lace, like my ring or my purse and I could tell by looking at it that other people had the same problem. The color is definitely darker in person than in the photo. I didn't like the fabric belt, but there's a loop right in the front so I felt like I had to wear it, otherwise I would've just left it off.

I wore this for my "50's housewife" themed bridal shower. Overall It was a pretty dress. The color is prettier in person than online, and the lace is very on-trend right now. I did wear a petticoat under it and belted it to make it more appropriate for my theme. I got a lot of compliments on the dress, however I'm not sure I'd wear again unless I was attending another themed event, I feel the silhouette is just a bit outdated. This dress runs true to size, if not a bit big. As usual, RTR Customer Service gets an A+!

The website photo makes this dress appear silvery blue. It's more of a dark marine blue, a really gorgeous color, actually; very rich. Also, I was hoping it would skim my knees, like in the photo, but, as I'm short, it came quite a few inches below my knee. Very full pleated lacy skirt. This was just the right amount of dressiness I was seeking, for the wedding I attended. I paired it with a ruffled black sweater. Features I liked: the snap and loop that held my bra straps in place, the several loops that held the ribbon belt and kept it from sliding down to my hips. The 14W wasn't available, so I ordered the 16W. 14W would have been more my size. The dress was a little large in the bust area. Still, comfortable, classy, and romantic. I would rent this dress again (in 14W hopefully)!

Due to my short stature it made me look matronly, the slip itself if shorter and I wore this on my flight up to my cousins bridal shower and surprised her. The slip kept creeping up.

It was very comfortable and suitable for the wedding.

I thought it fit pretty true to size. I always go a size up in my back up size and didn't even open it bc the 20W fit perfectly. I loved the flowy skirt, and the lace was perfect. I'm a bigger girl but I'm not really bigger on the top or the bottom, I'm pretty even throughout, so I thought it was very flattering on my body type. The zipper on this dress was a little finicky. My fiance could not get the zipper to move up with the dress on, despite having plenty of room to close. I ended up just having to throw it over my head, which was fine. The only fall back was the dress is pictured with a belt and neither the dress I wore or my back up dress arrived with one. It's supposed to have one, according to the description. RTR offered to send me a new dress but it wouldn't have made it by the time we needed to leave for the event but they still offered me a percentage off my next order! Great customer service! I ended up just wearing without a belt and pairing a statement necklace to draw the eye up. Will definitely be renting again!

This dress was perfect length for me at 5'10". The zipper was a little problematic, but I just zipped it and pulled it over my head. The color was a really pretty "almost teal" blue, and I loved that I could wear a regular bra and no spanx! This was my first RTR and I'll definitely be back!

Wore this for a dinner date with my husband for our anniversary. The fit was good but the dress wasn't in the top shape I expected it to be. Lots of loose strings and the zipper wasn't the easiest, it got stuck on itself a few times. It fit comfortably but I agree with the others about the slip part of the dress riding up when I sat down. All and all though I was pleased and liked how I looked in it.

I'm a 14 which sucks if you're renting on RTR. If I get a normal size, I have to size down to a 12 for my second and every designer is different. I felt the 14w was too big in the waist (and chest) so the sash came very handy. If not, a thin black belt would have worked.

Wore this for a play - I was missing the black sash from the picture and it was not as light of a blue as the picture would suggest. The dresses I ordered also weren't shipped in the nice garment bag as my previous orders so I was a little disappointed with that too.

Ran really large. I couldn't get the belt to sit right, and there was a lot of extra fabric that seemed to bunch up at the bottom, so the dress didn't hang right on me. It was also very long, even on me (I'm 5'2"). It wasn't unwearable but the dress definitely didn't do anything for me.

The fit was amazing, slightly tight in the chest, so I had to go with the 16, but I had the 14 as a backup. So comfortable to wear and dance in all night long. It did not come with the belt as shown, but that was fine because I had a black and silver belt at home that worked great with it. I received so many compliments of how great it looked. My husband said it was amazing and he wishes I owned it!! It came right when it said it would and was incredibly easy to send right back. I would totally rent again!!

I found this dress to run a little large (which is always good), as I usually wear a 22W. Luckily I had ordered the 20 as a back-up, and it fit perfectly. The color is even more vibrant than shown online! I'm usually weary of getting anything with a sash because they tend to be crumpled up messes, but the sash on this was in great condition! Length perfect, hit me right below the knee. I was able to dance and twirl all night, and received so many compliments. This dress is especially twirl-able!

This dress is absolutely beautiful. The fit was perfect - I had my typical size and the size larger sent, as I've been burned by "plus sizing" before. My typical size fit perfectly. The lace on the dress is very beautiful, and the body in the skirt made it super comfortable to wear (even at the end of the night). The belt was a little less substantial than I expected, but it really tied the whole look together. The dress can easily be styled "fancy" or "casual" depending on your accessories. I wore lots of sparkle and a simple black shrug and it looked perfect at my formal work holiday party. I am seriously considering buying this dress - it was that great.

Dress was perfect. I am definitely an apple & the dress fit well and hid my belly pretty well. Length was nice and the skirt was full and flowy. Color is so pretty as well. Great dress!

I liked the dress, it fit well and was easy to move in. The color is a little different in person. I recommend buying a sash since it did not come with one and without it the dress can look boxy.

I enjoyed wearing this dress to a baby shower. It was flattering and comfortable. It also was appropriate in style for the shower. It was a bit loose around the middle but the fit was still very good. The bust fit really well and I was concerned about that. But I had no issues with the bust being too tight or it rubbing my arms. I would wear this designer again.

LOVE the fit and it looks amazing on my hourglass figure. One downside - it's slightly heavy and hot, so I would not recommend for the summer.

Fit was good, a little big on me but the smaller size was not available. The dress also looked much different in the picture, in person it is a deep teal color. But overall I got lots if compliments and I was comfortable all night! Would wear it again.

The dress was gorgeous and it fit well. I loved the look just not how I look. Those are my own issues though, but as far as the dress it was wonderful. I will be using RTR again!

I wore this dress for my birthday date with my husband. The dress fit very well. The 16 was a little too big, so I went with the 14. I don't really have a waist so the sash didn't really work for me, but I have no complaints and got loads of compliments! The dress swings well and is perfect for dancing!

This dress was a backup, but as I did not wear the first choice dress I wore this one and really liked it a lot. The lace was so incredibly soft and the skirt is a perfect circle which makes dancing really fun. The color is lovely too. Overall I felt the dress was a bit large - had they had a 12W I would have preferred that. The waist was just a touch big (I usually wear a 14) but the area just above the bust area was too large. It didn't look baggy, just not as fitted or tailored as I would have liked. My only real criticism of the dress is the belt. It is a ribbon belt and it comes untied really easily and/or sags down as the knot loosens. The droopy knot showed up in a few of the formal pictures that were taken, which I was sorry to notice afterwards. I think a more structured belt would be an improvement, but that is an easy thing to fix. Overall, a lovely and conservative choice.

The fit was lovely, the dress itself was really nice. It came lacking the belt though, which was a little frustrating because it made the waist look a little odd.
