The dress fit fairly well -- it was a little baggy in the chest area, for me, but I have a small bust / pear shape. It wasn't baggy enough that I would size down, because then it wouldn't fit me in the hips. Decided to go with a different dress because my boyfriend felt this one was a bit too short for the event we were attending. That is something to note -- that it hits at the knee but is sheer from mid-thigh down. All my girlfriends said it was appropriate but some might find it a little "risque." All a matter of personal preference.

The 6R (my normal size) was unavailable so I ordered the 4R. This was a TIGHT fit, but I was able to get zipper up and get through the shower relatively comfortably. No big complaints, I would say it's true to size.

I initially ordered the 6R which fit too large in the chest (looked baggy) and also had some ribbing poking out making the dress uncomfortable. 4R was my backup size, I believe, and when I first put it on I had difficulty zipping it up (even with boyfriend's help) and deemed it too small. On the day of the wedding I decided to give it one more shot and was able to zip fully! Miraculously, it was comfortable all evening (and this one didn't have ribbing issues). Would 100% recommend.
