I got these a size larger than my usual size because I was starting to get uncomfortable in my regular size jeans as I'm entering the second trimester . I find many high wasted pants kind of hurt the belly after a while, but somehow these, despite being very high waisted, feel soft and forgiving around the abdomen area which makes these my go-to everyday pants.

This dress is incredible for women with broader shoulders (think Naturals in the Kibbe family) or a more muscular build because it gives a dramatic and romantic impression without constricting in the upper body unnecessarily. There is a sort of corset construction around the waist but I enjoyed that because it 'cinched' me in while the flowy dress let me move where it mattered and gave freedom to my lower abdomen, which was important, as I was in my second trimester. I felt the dress cinched me in the right places where it mattered without squeezing my stomach which was great. It's hard to lift your arms up all the way in this dress but that's not a huge priority of mine. Maybe skip if you plan on doing the YMCA all night. I did have to wear a strapless bra with this. I think if you have smaller bust you could get away with no bra as the ruched material would make it hard to tell.
