Cute but Tiny Waist
This jumpsuit is SO cute, but the waist is so tiny I couldn't wear it. I'm currently 140 and the medium fit perfectly, except the belt at the waist. I'm pear shaped, and my waist is probably the smallest part of my body, and while I could get the belt through the first hole, it was squeezing me badly. You can't remove the belt (it's sewn in). Very disappointing because it otherwise looks great. It's very strange that the way the belt is done doesn't work with the rest of the outfit.

An Odd Mashup
I didn't dislike this dress, but it is really odd. It's part sporty (with the cut of the top) and part cocktail (with lace and a silky material at the skirt). It came a bit wrinkled. At the back, there's a piece of tighter elastic at the waist. It's there to pull in the waist, and it gives the dress a nicer look, but it's very tight and has no stretch, so for me, a bit uncomfortable to sit in for a longer period of time.

Super Pretty and Feminine
So pretty, especially with the ruffles. Although, it runs very long. I'm nearly 5'5" and it's almost to the ground. It's a wrap dress, but there are clasps at the waist and chest, which is nice. Although, even with the clasp at the chest, it's extremely lowcut. I definitely need a cami to wear it to work.

Unique, So Many Compliments
This dress is a bit bold, but I absolutely loved it. The material is thicker, almost like a stretch knit with a bit of weight. But it's not so thick that you can't wear it on a warm day. Also, it looks more lowcut on the model than it was on me. I did not need a cami underneath, but the wrap is a touch shallow, so when I sat, I had to be careful about it falling open. Otherwise, it was a great dress, and I got so many compliments every time I wore it. People were constantly telling me how much they loved it. Wish I could buy it!

Cute but Sheer
I really like the look of this shirt. The cut is great, the length and sleeves are perfect, and the pattern is so cute. However, it is sheer, which I don't super love, but what are you going to do? If that doesn't bother you or you're okay layering with a cami, then this is a great shirt.

Runs VERY Big
This is a fairly basic cardigan, but cute and comfy and the color is great. However, it runs extremely big. I'm somewhere between a 6 and an 8 and rented the small, and it was still too big for me to wear. I'm somewhat doubtful the extra-small would work, considering how big the small was.

Cropped and Cute
This is a casual sweatshirt, but it's so cute that it makes you look put together. Very comfortable to wear. It is cropped, even with high-waisted jeans it showed some stomach when I raised my arms. It might run slightly small, but I think that's just the intended fit. Overall, I really liked this for an easy, casual look.

Cute, Colorful, and Swingy
I really love a dress that you can throw on and be done, and this is one of those dresses. It's super cute and fun. I'm between sizes 6 and 8 and really liked the fit of the Large. It made it swingier. I probably could size down, but for the cut of this dress, I don't think you want the smallest size you can fit in to. Wish I could keep this one!

Runs Comically Large
I've rented other Tibi dresses before, and they are usually TTS. But this one was HUGE. The sleeves were so big and so long that they completely covered my hands. The dress itself was so baggy. I looked like a kid playing dress up. Even if it had been the right size, I can't imagine that this dress is very flattering. The color is really muted, and it doesn't seem like the design is well thought out. I love this brand, just not this dress.

Fun Winter Print
Overall, this dress is very flattering, and I loved the print. It looks like electric blue dandelions. It's TTS, but I found it to be large in the bust (I'm not busty), so I needed to wear a cami underneath. It's also unlined, so a bit sheer, but with the cami and black tights, I think it was fine. I really liked this, but didn't love for some reason. I think it might look better with bare legs and pumps, similar to the model.

Fit is a little odd, but dress is gorgeous.
This dress is so beautiful that I don't even mind that it fits a little strangely. The arms and shoulders fit TTS, but the bust/waist area is perhaps a little large. Or it could be the way the dress is draped. It's a little off. I could see this issue bothering some people, but I didn't mind it because the dress is so pretty. The red is closer to orange IMO and is a bold color. It's also pretty long for my frame, hitting at the ankles.

Super Cool Skirt, Hidden Slit
I loved everything about this skirt from the color to the button details to the length. It runs small, though. The material has some stretch, but it's still pretty fitted through the waist and hips, so if you are a little larger in those areas, you will probably want to go up a size. Also, you can't tell from the photo, but there is a slit near where the buttons end. It's conservative when you're walking, but sitting down it comes up fairly high. Overall, loved this.

Good Work Dress but No Wow
This fits mostly TTS, perhaps a little big, but I like that the fit is not body-con. It's a shift dress and fitted, but not super tight, which seems to be a hard combination to find on this site. I also love the plaid pattern, and the material is thick and soft and the dress is very comfortable to wear. However, for reasons I can't quite explain, I like this dress, but don't love it. The dress is just a tad dowdy. It might be the higher collar. Good rental overall but not my favorite.

Dress is Unlined and Sheer, Runs a Little Small
The product descriptions for items should really include whether dresses are lined or not. This one is not and the material is sheer. I tried it on in my living room with a little sun coming in and that was enough to see through it completely, so outside? No way. It's too bad because the dress itself looked really nice on, although it definitely runs small. I'd order a size up if you don't mind the sheerness.

Cute but TINY
This dress is super cute, but unfortunately I did not get to wear it. I'm a true 8, but ordered the 10 based on the comments. Even that was too small. I'm larger in my hips, so that's where it was the tightest, but it was even small through the waist. If you're bigger in those areas, you probably want to go 2 sizes bigger than normal!

Classy but fun.
First, this dress is pink and navy blue, not red and black. I was surprised but pleased because this added a twist to the typical buffalo check pattern. Second, I would say it runs big by about a half size. The 8 was pretty roomy in the chest and waist for me and that isn't typical of other size 8 dresses I rent. But it didn't look overly large, so it still fit well. The dress itself is super cute and the top almost looks like a little capelet. Great rental for work.

Cozy, Throwback Sweater Dress
I love this dress. It reminded me of a sweater from the late 80's/early 90's. It's very comfortable and warm, definitely for colder days. I'm typically a size 8, and I got the large. I probably could've worn the medium, but I didn't mind the extra room of the large (otherwise might be a little body-con for me). I'm 5'4" and the dress came to my ankles. The colors are much more muted in person than they are in the picture. The red is more of a burgundy. Overall, an interesting dress that I loved renting.

Cute Casual Dress
Love the pattern and cut of this dress. The material is very light-weight, but it's fully lined. I would say it runs a little small in the waist, and if you carry your weight here, you will want to size up because there is no stretch. I really wish this dress had bra stays to keep your straps up. I don't ever love having visible bra straps because they won't stay up, but in this dress, it looks especially bad when they slip down. Otherwise, it's very cute, and I enjoyed wearing it.

LOVE
This dress is gorgeous, and it was non-stop compliments all day. It's also very comfortable and easy to wear. The length in back was a little too long for me, but it didn't bother me much (was actually more annoying while sitting because there was so much fabric). One star off because the lining is VERY short. It barely covered my bum and forget bending over. The dress is otherwise completely sheer, so I was a little worried about the lining riding up and revealing a little too much. But I think it was worth it because this dress is so, so pretty.

Overall, the dress was lovely, but it's a very slim fit with no stretch. If you have a straight figure, it would fit well, but I have larger hips, and it was much too tight. I couldn't even zip it. I'm also not sure it would fit those with a larger chest, but smaller hips.

LOVE
The fabric is flowy and light, but the dress is sewn in such a way that it has a nice structure and fit. The pattern is beautiful, the dress is very comfortable to wear, and it didn't have any wrinkles at the end of the day. The neckline is a little low, so I wore a cami, but others might not be bothered. The length was perfect on me, but might be too long for anyone shorter than I am. One of my favorite rentals.

Beautiful Skirt, Maybe Best for Taller People
If I was being perfectly honest, this skirt is a little too long and a little too full for someone of my height and weight. But I loved it anyway and received lots of compliments. It's chic but very comfortable to wear. The waist is elastic, but there isn't a lot of give, so it's true to size. There is a seam that runs down the front of the skirt and the pattern does not match up. At this purchase price, I'm a little surprised by this, but for a rental, I don't mind as much.

Beautiful Dress, Odd Fit
Before I rented this dress, I read the reviews that the dress ran big but decided to rent it in my normal size (8) because a 6 wasn't even listed as an option. I am smaller on top and curvier on the bottle, so the 8 was big through the arms, chest, and waist, but fit through the hips (the lining runs smaller than the dress). A smaller size probably would've looked better through my upper half, but I'm not sure if would've fit my hips. Because of the lining, this dress is probably best for people who are more uniform in size, and people who are curvier on bottom might have some fit issues. Despite that, I still liked the dress. It's unique, the little bit of sheerness keeps it from being too severe, and the floral with polka dot fabric is so pretty.

Beautiful Fabric
The fabric and little details on this dress are beautiful and really unique. My only nitpick about the cut is that the waist is at an odd location, higher than natural waist, but lower than an empire. I have a long torso, so I think it looked alright on my, but when I sat down, the waist inches up over your rib cage and is a little confining. Also, I'm in my late 30's, and while this dress is so pretty, I think it was a little young for me and might be categorized as "junior." I know we all have different tolerances for these things, so I don't think it's strictly for someone younger! However, if you're sensitive about those things, this would be one to avoid.

Shows Everything
I really like almost every Shoshanna dress I've gotten, and in all the other dresses from the brand I fit well into an 8/M. This dress felt very tight to me (beyond just being body con, which it also is) and was fairly short, so I think it runs quite a bit smaller than other dresses from this brand. While the material is nice and thick, it was not flattering and showed every lump, bump, and line underneath (not just VPL, but also the waist of my underwear). I did not feel comfortable wearing it since you could literally see everything underneath. It's too bad because the design of the dress is very cute.

Gorgeous, Tons of Compliments
This dress is so beautiful, comfortable, and I got compliments on it all day long. I feel like I spent half of the day answering questions about it from people at work. It might be a touch short for taller people. When I sat down, it was mid-thigh. My only tiny nitpicks is that I wish it had a zipper in back so you didn't have to pull it on/off over your head, and that the lining is a touch too small for the dress. Otherwise, no complaints. Loved it.

Flattering Cut But Well-Worn
I'm a sucker for stripes and the cut of the dress is very flattering. It's also very comfortable to wear. However, the dress that I got has clearly been worn a lot. It was clean, but very worn and faded. Even if it had been newer, I don't think this dress is very special and reminded me of something you could get at Target.

Gorgeous and Comfortable
This skirt is beautiful and overall one of my favorite rentals ever. The pattern is unique and pretty, it fits and flows well, and it has pockets! The waist has some elastic to it, which is really nice. I'm fairly short, so this skirt was tea-length on me, but it still looks great and was still able to wear with flats. I had several people stop me and ask me where I got it. My only complaint was that it came fairly wrinkled/rumpled and because of the way it's pleated, it makes at-home ironing a little difficult (at least it does if you're an amateur iron-er like myself).

Nice Print, Strange Fit
Overall I would say this dress ran large. Even with the drawstring at the waist, it was still too sack-adjacent for my liking. The neckline was quite low, and I had to tie it together to make it appropriate for work, and the dress is not as flattering with it tied at the neck. Also, even though the dress itself runs larger, the arm holes were tiny and the elastic becomes uncomfortable throughout the day. I love the print and just wish I liked the dress more.

This dress is really cute, flattering, and would work for a variety of events. I normally don't go for pastel colors, but this is subtle and a nice change from what I normally wear. The fabric doesn't have much stretch, but it fit very true to size and was comfortable.

Very Cute, Runs Small
I really liked the way this dress looked, especially the hemline. Unfortunately, it was too small to even zip up. I got this with 3 other dresses in my unlimited order, the 3 other dresses were size 8 and fit perfectly. This was a medium and much smaller than those dresses. Update: I returned the medium and got the large. I was able to wear it, but it was still small. The dress itself has a little stretch, but the lining does not and barely fit around my hips. So basically, this dress does not run small, it runs TINY. It's cute though, just be aware of the fit issues.

Fun dress!
True to what other people have said, this dress runs small. I generally wear a size 2, but I wore a 6 in this. The 4 fit, but it didn't look as good as the roomier 6. I'm not usually one that wears form-fitting dresses, but I really loved this one. The material is thick, which makes it feel less revealing. Overall, I loved it. I took one star off because the slit is a little high when sitting, and I had to cover it with the wedding program. Also, while the dresses I received were still in good condition, they've obviously been worn quite a bit. The white is starting to fade and the seeming was beginning to pull.

Cute but Unexciting
This was my rental back-up, and I ended up wearing this instead of my original rental. It is very comfortable and the color is really pretty. You don't need any special under garments, which is nice. However, the asymmetrical hemline is the only interesting thing about it. Also, if you are someone who sweats, this is not the dress for you. I accidentally sprinkled some water on it while washing my hands, and it very noticeably spots and took forever to dry and disappear. I started to worry it might start showing sweat under my arms, but the weather on the day I wore it ended up getting very cool, so fortunately I was spared that embarrassment. But on a hot day, this would not be the dress you would want.

Strange Fit
This was unfortunately very disappointing to me. It looked great in all the user pictures, but it fit me very strangely. This might be because I have a longer torso. I am only 5'4" and I usually wear between size 2-4. It was a bit too small in the upper half and looked and felt very uncomfortable. Also, because you can't see it in the other pictures, the waist on it is quite high, and in the back this gives the appearance of really elongating your rear. It wasn't flattering at all and made me look frumpy.

Fine, but Not Great
First of all, as always the Rent the Runway customer service was great. The dress came on time and was in perfect condition. Unfortunately, though, this was my least favorite rental I've had from RTR. The dress is very mature, and while I can see it being lovely on someone 50+, it wasn't great for someone my age. Also, despite wearing 4 inch heels I still had to pick it up and carry the train whenever I walked, which was annoying. I have a very small bust, so perhaps that's why this dress felt like it ran large. I'm in between a 2 and a 4 for a dress size these days, and the 2 had room to spare. Plus, the dress was heavier on the bottom, so with the neckline I had to keep hoisting it up. Overall, it was fine, but it's a pretty boring dress, not fun or interesting at all.

Tough Fit
This is a really cute dress, but it would only work well for someone who is exactly the same size on top as they are on bottom. I am one size smaller on top than I am on the bottom and so this dress did not fit properly. The smaller size fit my top, but was too tight on the bottom and vice versa. Also, this dress if far more body-con than it appears on the model, so even if you can get a good fit, with the open back, cut-outs, and the tightness of it you'd want to be careful which event you rented it for. Finally, the top of the back of the dress has hook-and-eye closures, and on both dresses I received they were very bent and would not close. Even if one of the dresses had fit it would've required safety pins to close the top. However, I will say it's a really cute dress and the material is nice and thick. For the right body type and the right event, it would definitely work.
