Super stretchy material on the thicker side. I wore this at 7.5 months pregnant and I felt fabulous without having to sacrifice comfort for style. That said, I could've sized down to an XS since the S ran a bit on the larger side though it wasn't an issue for me since it still looked fine. I will certainly be renting again.

I really liked the fit of this dress and how it seemed to provide the right amount of stretch without losing its form (it's meant to somewhat tuck things in). That said, I was able to wear it over my 29 week pregnant bump & I didn't feel constrained around my mid section though I did feel a bit restricted when walking due to the length of the dress. I'm 5'5'', currently ~140 lbs and the dress fell about 4 inches below my knees. If you plan to dance the night away I wouldn't recommend this dress, but if the occasion calls for mostly sitting and/or looking pretty, then certainly go for it!
