Size up for sure, but if u have a larger bust and or are athletically built, you might want to pass. The tighter fit at the bust compounding the restriction of the strap/sleeve design. The fabric was good though and I can see this being lovely on a less busty person 😉

I wore this dress out to dinner with friends. I wore the medium. Im bigger on top than bottom, the medium fit well. The material is such that the dress can be more casual or dressier depending upon shoes and accessories. The material is substantial, but It is clingy, some might feel more comfortable with a shaper underneath, I didn't wear one, i can never find one that doesn't roll at the waist. But I still felt good in this. I was able to wear a regular bra which was great. the back is a little low, so i just adjusted my bra straps a bit and it was fine. Highly recommend this dress.
