Rented for my birthday dinner and bar hopping. The fit was ALMOST perfect, which is a lot to say for a rental, I think. It is a teeny bit long in the torso if you're on the petite side. I also wish it was just a tad more snug in the chest. I almost think I could have gotten away with a 2 and then it would have been perfect. Would definitely rent again.

Rented for my sister in laws baby shower in scorching 90° heat. This skirt was sooooo light, it was the perfect choice. It is pink, not white, so keep that in mind. I loved the abstract print and how artsy it felt. I paired with a simple black crop top and the necklace RTR chose went perfectly. Would definitely recommend for those events you want to look nice for but don't want to go over the top. Perfect little summer look.

I rented this for a wedding in Traverse City this past weekend. For weeks, I had been eyeing this dress and was thrilled to have a reason to rent it. I knew I wanted something long because it was an outdoor wedding in September and this was perfect. The skirt fabric is a little thicker than you'd imagine but it still moves quite well. The colors in the stripes are interesting as well, in the fact that dependent on the lighting, different tones come through more. In certain rooms you saw a lot of pink, in others more blue. It's really lovely and I got tons of compliments all night. I was worried about the length being too long but it was actually perfect. I had high wedges on and it was just a millimeter off the ground in the back, I eventually switched to flats and it wasn't like I was dragging it all over the ground and I'm only 5'3". The ONLY downfall of this dress is that the straps are just a tad long, especially if you're short through the torso. I'm okay with a plunging neckline as long as everything feels secure and things definitely did not. Double sided tape only slightly helped. But then on the way to the wedding I had a stroke of brilliance and in just a few seconds with the help of a little bit of black ribbon I was good to go. I just slipped it behind the straps in the back and tied a bow to pull the two straps toward the center of my back more to create a sort of racer back and it worked like a charm. I didn't even need the tape at that point. It was cute with the little bow but I ended up sliding it up higher towards my shoulder blades and it was completely hidden by my hair. All in all I loved it and would definitely rent again and would recommend, just be aware that if you're shorter, you'll have to get a little creative with those straps.

I. Love. This. Dress. It's gorgeous, comfortable, and the fit is incredible. Fits very much true to size, though I did end up wearing the 2 just so it was a little more snug on top. It's not fitted through the midsection and hips so sizing down is totally an option for a little extra support for the girls. I did wear a strapless bra but I could see how you could go without and be fine. And I'm obsessed with this mid calf length of the skirt. It's my new favorite look. Will definitely rent again.

I rented this with the intention of wearing it to a rehearsal dinner. Since it was my second style, I only had the one size and no back up. I ordered a size 4 but I'm really curious to see how a 2 would have fit. The dress is really cute and it's nice and light. For an outdoor event in warm weather, I think it'd be really comfortable. I just wasn't crazy about the fit up top. If my bust was a bit bigger I think it'd be a little more flattering, since the fabric tends to buckle where it's not filled out.

I love love love this ensemble. Perfect for my boyfriend's brother's rehearsal dinner off of Lake Michigan. I lost track of how many compliments I received about these two pieces and it's so fun and unique I could wear it to every event and would be perfectly happy doing so. This top runs true to size. I suspected I would need a 2 but got the size up just in case because there is no stretch at all to the fabric. However the 2 fit perfectly. I'm normally a 4 but I am usually okay to size down on tops, especially if I'm going with a strapless bra or just braless in general. I did wear a strapless with this, without any problems, the top actually helps hold you up, I thought. But I think you could go completely braless without any problems as well. Would definitely rent again, 100 times over. Don't forget the matching skirt! Although both pieces would look great on their own too.

I cannot say enough how much I loved wearing this. If I could live in it, I would. I rented this for my boyfriend's brother's rehearsal dinner and got so many compliments I couldn't even count them if I'd tried. This skirt runs very true to size. I fit in the size 2 as well since it sits high on the waist but found that since the fabric has no stretch, the 4 was a little more comfortable. I'm obsessed with the length, I think it's very fresh and the print makes it a quirky 50s throwback with a modern touch. Plus, it has pockets. Enough said. Will definitely be renting again for whatever events I can get my hands on it for.

I loved this dress! This was my first experience with Rent the Runway and I could not have expected it to go any better than it did. As a female member of the Groom's party I was struggling to find something that would be a good fit with the rest of the guys, and after failing miserably in stores and online I turned here. The dress fit beautifully. It is snug at your natural waist with lots of room for wider hips. I would not recommend for bustier girls, however. I had a sticky bra with a nude strap attached around the back of my neck since my hair was down to hide it and the dress is backless, just to give myself a little lift in front. It looked a little odd, I thought, going completely braless. And having the pockets was the best part! Another plus, you can't tell the pockets are there either, even when I had my phone or other things in them. The dress doesn't bulge out oddly either since the skirt is so roomy. I didn't even have to carry a purse with me. The only tricky part was getting into it, but after trying it on, you kind of get the hang of it. The zipper is a little tricky by yourself. I also enjoyed the overall experience of the rental. The packaging is surprisingly impressive and the whole process of renting and returning is a piece of cake. I'm already lining up rentals for the next few weddings I have to go to!

I loved the look of these earrings. They weren't too much or too distracting and the color was beautiful. They were the perfect pair to compliment the navy dress I wore. The only downside was that the drop portion of the earring never wanted to sit straight. So I was constantly adjusting them to sit facing forward so they would be seen.
