Not a good color on me but the sheer/velvet looks cool
I probably should've gone with a L in this instead of an XL but the XL would've been OK if the color hadn't looked terrible on my skin and hair. Not rating it low because thats really a me problem. The zipper on the back did kind of pucker easily when I tried it on but I dont think this would've happened if I hadn't sized up.

Not the best curvy fit but still cool!
If these fit me better and didnt have a button fly I might have purchased because the eyelets are a really cool touch and the leg width was great. However the combo of the button fly and too big waist exaggerated my tummy in a weird way. I wore with some light shape shapewear and that helped a tiny bit. It also was kinda tight in the front of the waist despite being 1+in too big overall in the waist (the back gaped significantly). I wouldn't purchase for these reasons but they were a fun casual rental! For reference my waist is ~31in and my hips are 44in.

Runs big in waist
These were pretty loose around my waist (I had to wear slouchy further down and/or wear a belt) but I'm not sure if I could've sized down because the hips fit just about right. A 30 might have worked but it also might not have for my hips. For reference my waist is ~31in and my hips are 44in. If you have a smaller hip to waist ratio than me I'd definitely size down.

Amazing
Love love love these and I'm sad about how expensive they are because I would've bought them. The inner material is sooo soft, the color is gorgeous and they fit me fantastically. I have a short torso and these hit right at my belly button. For reference my waist is 31in, my hips are 44in, and where the rise hits on me is about 37in.

Soft and cute
I'm usually a 31 or sometimes a 30 and risked getting my smaller size because 31 wasn't available and most reviews only mentioned the waist being on the smaller size which isn't usually my fit issue. However these were too tight on my waist to look good because it gave me a muffin top and also a bit tight at the hips which caused ugly pull lines so I didn't wear. A 31 probably would've been good for me. My waist is ~31in and my hips are 43in. Wish these had fit because the soft inner fabric was really nice and I like the cut if they had been the right size

Couldn't raise arms and hard to get off
I'm usually a 12 and the bust and waist fit me perfectly, but it was kind of hard to get on and off because the arms were kind of tight and I kept hearing stitches popping when I tried to raise my arms very far. Really flattering top otherwise but not being able to raise my arms up or out made it a bit inconvenient to wear. Measurements:44in bust, 31-32in waist

Simple but elevated
The studs add a flattering and interesting element to a pretty basic dress. The dress fit me great without clinging to A bit short to wear to work for me and my personal taste but I wore with more opaque tights and felt comfortable. Measurements: 44-31-43

Super cute, but waist runs quite small
I loved the style of this skirt and being able to make the slit a little daring. My waist is ~31-32in and hips are ~44in and I typically comfortably wear a L in bottoms and often have the issue of waists being a bit loose. I saw reviews saying the waist was tight but the XL wasn't available and since my waist is on the lower end of the size range I figured it would be fine. I was still able to wear this one but it was definitely quite snug and the waist got uncomfortable after a bigger dinner. The rest of the skirt was stretchier so the rest fit comfortably. I would definitely suggest sizing up 1 size.

A little longer than I expected but a very cool print!
Loved the print! I went with my normal size and think I perhaps should've sized down for the casual cute setting I wore it in as it was a loose around my waist and not quite fitted around my chest or hips (which are usually the fit problem, my measurements are B:32L/~44in, W:31-32in, H:~44in). The scrunchy nature of the fabric meant it was very stretchy and comfy. I thought this would be shorter but it was only a couple inches above the knee unless I scrunched up the dress a bit which I thought looked weird because of the extra fabric it created around my stomach/waist.

Super cool, comfy, and flattering
This newspaper print is so cool (the headlines are atomic age futuristic) and I would buy this if it were less expensive. I'm typically a L, but have quite a large bust (I'm actually a 32L but RTR doesnt even have that as an option lol) and a little bit large upper arms/shoulders and wanted to wear this to a concert so I went with an XL and it fit perfectly. I probably could've worn my typical L but I would've been relying on the stretch of the fabric more. The fabric is a very comfy, stretchy mesh and there's two layers of it so it wasn't see through. Would rent again!

Waist runs really small
I tyipically wear a L in skirts and still have room in the waist (W:31-32in H:~44in). I sized up based on reviews and was able to wear the XL if I didn't eat a big meal but the waist was still very tight and does not have any give. Currently losing weight so I may rent again in the future when I can wear it a bit more comfortably. The hips still had a comfortable amount of room and the attached shorts were very soft and comfy. If you have an even larger hip to waist ratio than me this skirt will be amazing on you!

Soft and warm, but size down
I'm usually a 12 in tops because of my large chest, but I was swimming in this. I wanted the oversized look but this was just overwhelming. I ended up rolling it twice and tucking that under my bra to make it work. I would definitely size down 1-2 sizes. It was otherwise very soft and warm and the knit pattern was a nice detail. I would rent again in a smaller size.

Pretty but itchy:(
Fits pretty true to size, but the sleeves were pretty long on me and might be too long if you're petite. I rented an XL for an oversized look. The color is gorgeous and almost neon. Unfortunately if you have sensitive skin like me, it's unwearable. This made me want to crawl out of my skin the second I put it on. It was so itchy. I tried layering it but it didn't look right with anything I had. Also I don't love branding on my clothes and this says scotch and soda on every button and on a patch on the sleeve.

Almost great, but not for my waist to hip ratio
Current Measurements: 31.5in W, 43.5in H, 26in upper thigh. I love the style, cut of the leg, high waist, and cropped length. However they were comically large on my waist especially after a few wears. As they loosened a bit they were too big everywhere but the widest point of my hips which emphasized my stomach a bit. Usually a 30-31 in denim with any stretch but after learning my lesson in the form of painfully tight thighs and hips in other non stretch denim rentals, I got these in a 32. Even after they stretched out slightly with wear, I don't think I could size down without the same issue. 100% rent them if they are right for your body. Otherwise make sure you have a belt that fits your true waist. Search the levis size chart and follow it because these are very true to those measurements.

Cool details, a little sqeaky?
I liked the look and feel of this jacket a lot, the leather is extremely soft, but it was slightly squeaky when moving my arms? It seemed like it ran larger from reviews, but I probably would go with an XL in the future for comfort because it was slightly tight on my shoulders when I crossed my arms and I couldn't really wear anything besides pretty fitted sleeves under it. I do think I have broader shoulders though, so if you have average or narrow shoulders I would say this probably runs large still.

Amazingggg, size up if between sizes
The cut was the perfect just slightly loose fit from the knee down and the seam and zipper details made these a perfect edgy everyday jean. They hit right at my ankle bone. I loved every detail of these so I wore them twice even though the size was quite uncomfortable. I'm usually a 30-31. I wish I had gone with the larger size because these were so uncomfortably tight on my upper thighs and pretty fitted at the hips and waist. (32in waist, 43 in hip, 25-26in thighs).They have a very small amount of stretch which is honestly the only reason I was able to wear them after lunging around in them a little bit. If you are usually between 2 sizes, I would go with your larger size, especially if you are curvy. Otherwise, they are probably true to size. I would definitely rent them again in a size up.

Great basic jeans, not a curvy fit though.
Measurements: 32in waist, 43in hips, 25-26in upper thighs. These jeans were the perfect ankle length for me and I loved the medium weight of the denim, the casual light wash, and the relaxed cut on my legs while hugging my hips. These run large which seems to be standard for Madewell. I usually wear a 30-31 and would almost never order a 30 in non-stretchy denim, but these have very little stretch and they were still too big at the waist. As per usual, jeans with little stretch in a non-curvy cut just don't work quite right for me fit-wise. They did fit my hips great and my thighs pretty well too. I probably wouldn't size down for fear of painfully tight thighs in a smaller size because I could definitely tell it would dig in there when sitting if they were smaller. They didn't bag out even after 4+ wears though! I really wish RTR would get more of the curvy cut jeans from Madewell or other brands as they fit me so much better.

Great color! No stretch, the dreaded curvy waist gap.
I really really wish this had fit me better because it was so pretty and I would've wanted to keep it or rent again. I would say these are probably generally true to size, but as with many non-stretch denim items, it was just not meant for my body(32in waist, 43in hips). It fit snug on my hips, but it was definitely loose on my waist and got even looser with wear. The fit also made it extremely short when sitting since did not stretch to accommodate movement. It also oddly felt tight on my stomach when sitting even though there was a 1-2in gap on my back. It wasn't unwearable, but it wasn't a great fit and I wouldn't be able to size down because of my hips. Was nice to rent once, but I probably wouldn't try it again unless my size changes substantially.

Lightweight and Soft!
Super comfy! This sweater was so soft and a perfect lightweight sweater for transition weather or cold weather if you run hot all the time like me. The texture and cut add a coolness factor. It is definitely cropped though and the dropped shoulders make it difficult to wear most jackets. I wore it with super high-waisted jeans and it just barely covered the waistband even on my shorter torso. I would probably size up for length if you have a longer torso and don't want exposed skin.

So comfy and on-trend
I love this blazer and if it weren't an insane price I would purchase it. It was super comfortable, on-trend, and versatile for work or weekend. I will almost certainly rent again. I'm not sure I get why so many people have said this runs large. The shoulders run true to size and the body of the jacket is cut oversized. I would only size down if you have narrower shoulders/are petite. I will say the sleeves were a bit long on me and I think my arms are average length for my body, but they weren't unwearably long.

Wanted these to work for me, but weird fit in the thighs, very little stretch
These are so cute and high quality, but the fit was just not right for me. I usually wear a 10/30 in jeans and occasionally a 12/31 (32in waist, 42in hips). I sized up based on other reviews of this brand and they fit just right in the waist and butt, but were uncomfortably tight at the top of my thighs and they do not stretch much at all. I'm not sure sizing up another size would have been better because then it might've been big in the waist. However, I did wear them twice and lived with the discomfort because they were cute and I really liked the length and cut of the legs otherwise. I would recommend ordering your larger size or a size up from that perhaps if you have larger thighs.

Soft leather feel, size up for hips
The color is slightly green undertone beige/ cream. The fabric looks and feels nice but it is pretty thin and will show lines where it is fitted. I usually wear a 10 and occasionally a 12 in jeans (32in W, 42in H right now). Because I (correctly) assumed this would have very little stretch and was an a line cut I went with the 12 but even this was too tight on my hips/stomach. It was a bit challenging to zip at the hips. I was still able to wear it, but it bunched above my butt and pulled across my hips a bit which made it less flattering than it could have been. I would recommend sizing up if you are curvy.

Soo flattering and comfy
These looked so great on my body and were honestly comfy enough to lounge around in. I am usually a 10-12 in bottoms (33in waist,44 hips) and these fit very well, although they did ride up a bit on my hips when walking so if your waist to hip ratio is larger than mine you may want to size up and try tightening the belt. Great everyday or workwear. They were a tiny bit long on me for flats if you don't want them to break on top of your shoe. I wore them with a 2in bootie and it was a perfect clean line. FYI these look black in the photo but they are very much a dark navy.

Couldn't style it right for me, but flattering
This fit extremely well on my chest and flatteringly nipped at my waist which is generally hard for me to find in shift dresses with my large chest. I probably could've gone down a size if not for my chest, but that is typical for me. Based on other reviews saying it was short I was hoping to wear it for everyday casual wear to school, but I guess with my shorter torso it was kind of an awkward length between flattering casual wear and appropriate workwear (about 3 in above the knee for me). It's also a little bit out of my style comfort zone and so I struggled to incorporate it, but if this is your style it's really cute and flattering.

Odd fit
The A line cut wasn't A line enough for my curves. What I mean is it looked ridiculous from the side because it was more like a body con fit with a weird flip at the bottom. Mayyyybe it would have been fixed if I had gone up a size or even 2, but I suspect not. The material is really nice and the style of the skirt is great, but it would be a lot better for a straighter body type than mine. The 10 was a bit snug on my 33in waist, but would've been wearable if not for the cut issues.

Fit like a dream
These fit amazingly and were the perfect amount of stretchy to be comfortable. For reference, my waist is 33in and my hips are 44in. They are not stiff denim so they didn't hold in any tummy, but they also didn't stretch or bag out throughout the day. A nice dark blue denim (beware it may color transfer on light materials although mine were new with tags so it may have been worse). Would rent these again when I'm in the mood for skinny jeans.

Really cute, but not really meant for my body.
This dress was a little tight on my chest but not so much as to be unwearable (at least as I wore it with a t-shirt underneath). However, in the size that fit my chest, the waist and hips were shapeless. It was also longer than I was hoping, almost a maxi length. I made it work by creating a waist cinch with a hair tie inside that also made it a bit shorter, but that made the slit a bit precarious. All in all a very cute style and great quality but just not right for me.

Cute and nice quality but runs large
The curvy fit is supposed to reduce issues with waist gaps but I ordered this is a size down based on my measurements from Madewell's denim size chart (I've changed sizes recently so I'm not sure really what my "normal" size is) and it was still at least a full size too large. The waist was larger than the hips so I feel like it still might be a little off even if I sized down, but that's just speculation. I wore the 31 with a belt since they were supposed to be a looser cut anyways. The fabric stretched out even more quickly. If you're using madewell's size chart, I would suggest going 2 sizes down from your suggested size.

Great cut and style!
Pros: Loved the style and cut of this skirt, which was very flattering to an hourglass shape. The pattern is much more apparent in person than in the model photos. The elastic waistband was thick which is helpful if you want to tuck something in. Cons: Although it fit great once it was on, getting the waistband over my hips was a bit difficult and I would imagine it would be impossible/not fit once on for someone with larger hips than me. My waist is 33" and my hips are about 44". It was also a bit longer on me than what it looks here and I wanted but I was able to roll the waistband once to fix this.
