Was complemented by strangers.
So since I first used RTR I have gained weight so I was unsure how it would work out this time. I read reviews and looked at pictures so thank you to all other reviewers. I picked this dress since I was going to attend a wedding and it was my fiancé's new boss so I wasn't sure what kind affair it would be and what the crowd would be like. I figured you can't go wrong with black and to me the dress looked professional. I am small on top and carry all my weight on my hips and thighs so I loved this dress. It actually made it seem as if I have a decent cleavage and there was plenty of room for my hips that I felt absolutely comfortable the whole night. The pockets are an amazing addition. I did have to iron the dress as it arrived a bit wrinkled. I ordered a size 6 and 8 because I was afraid that maybe the waist would be too tight but the 6 went on perfect. I tend to get hot easily and with this dress I felt quite comfortable the whole night even on the dance floor.

Okay for a formal event
I had a holiday party/dinner to attend to and I wanted something formal that would keep me warm. This dress will definitely keep you warm...very warm. If you plan to do any dancing this may not be the dress to get. I ordered both a small and medium and because I am smaller on my top half the small seemed to be the better fit. I have a small bust so I'm not so sure how comfortable someone with a bigger bust would be in this dress as I found it to be quite snug at top. I also wore it with a strapless bra so I had no issues with straps showing through the holes. Quite frankly I didn't think there was anything special about this dress but it was good enough for the event I needed it for.

Loved this dress
I needed a dress for a Sunday evening wedding. I wanted something that wasn't too dressy and that wasn't black. I decided to give this pretty dress a try and I absolutely loved it and did receive quite a few compliments. I got the dress in both a size small and medium and I could have gone with either really. The dress was long on me since I'm 5'2 but I loved the fit of the dress and so I didn't mind it falling below my knee. This dress will show every curve and bump so be aware of that when picking a size. I usually wear either a 4 or 6 and the small was perfect for me. ** Added note: I loved this dress so much I had to buy it as soon as it went on sale!

my first RTR dress
I requested this dress for an evening wedding in November so I knew I wanted something that would be classy, comfortable and would keep me warm. This met all those requirements. I usually wear dresses running from a size 4 to an 8 depending on the room in the hips and thighs. Since this was my first RTR rental and I wasn't sure how my hips would fit into the dress and ordered a size 6 and 8. I should have gotten a 4 instead. The dress was a bit loose which was good after all the dancing I did but if you want a sexier fit go down a size. The only other comment I have is that the sleeve are long for this 5'2" frame. I had to fold up the sleeve a little over an inch.
