The designer needed to edit the number of ruffles.
I LOVED the top half of this dress. Honestly, I wish I could just wear it as a shirt with a pair of dark wash jeans. The skirt/bottom half of this dress was AWFUL. It hit at the wrong place on my hips, and there were way too many ruffles with the asymmetrical shirt. Too much going on. While it technically fit me, I didn't wear it. It was not flattering at all.

Lovely, easy option for a nice day event
The length was a little short for my personal taste, but not uncomfortably so. I wore this to a baby shower and loved it. The sleeves were PERFECT and I wish more dresses had sleeves like this dress. I definitely recommend ironing it before you wear it!
