I ended up not going with this dress though it was my "primary" choice for my event. I could not even zip up the 4R and the 6R was quite tight for me. You can see I am spilling out of the skirt a little. Overall, it was just too uncomfortable to wear all night long, which is why I decided against wearing it. I suggest sizing up from what you think you should order as your backup at least. The material is very thick and I had concerns about dancing all night (and sweating profusely) as well. Length was good though - I have on 2.5" heels in the photos.

The only available size for my dates was a 6R, so I went with that based on previous reviews. I definitely needed a 4R instead, but the 6 worked for the night. It was light enough to dance and not die, but long and just fine for a December night in the Northeast. Lots and lots of tape was used to keep me from having a potential wardrobe malfunction. I think if my chest was a size or 2 smaller, I wouldn't have had so many concerns. Also, I wore 2.5" heels and the dress was slightly long, but not too long for me.

The colors, fabric, weight, cut, details, all of it were perfect and comfortable for an August wedding! I'm usually a 2 or 4 and the XS was easy to move in and stay in all night. I even could have potentially sized down again but this was great.

Fit true to size, but just didn't do it for me. The length in the petite was perfect (I'm 5' tall). I'm a 34D, 130lbs and usually wear a size 2 or 4. Would've been able to eat, sit, and dance comfortably all night in this, easily.
