gorgeous fit and color, so many compliments
this dress has a gorgeous drape and fits beautifully. the arm holes arent too big at all, and the sideboob was tasteful :) i wore it with a pretty ruby pin on the right upper chest instead of a necklace. got so many compliments. would 100% rent again!

the small was too big. i should have gotten an XS, especially because the jacket is oversized to start. go with a small size, if in doubt. otherwise great material and luxe look.

party at a conference
love this dress. the material is heavy and fits really well. i usually shy away from herve leger dresses and especially from drop waist dresses because i feel like they are generally unflattering on a longer torso, but this dress changed my mind! the colors stand out among a crowd, and the dress is conservative enough for a party at a professional conference but still makes you feel gorgeous and a little edgy (read: more conservative is a bit better). i LOVED it and would recommend renting it!

rented for an outdoors california wedding with a cocktail dress code
this is definitely not appropriate for a cocktail event. the fabric is gauzy/cotton and is very casual as is the fit. I thought i could dress it up, but it just wouldnt work for me. the color is beautiful and it is of course wonderful quality with a very subtle, embossed sort of pattern in the fabric. i would have liked a 0, but the 2 was ok for a more casual look. I ended up wearing it the next day for breakfast. lovely dress but not easily dressed up.
