Forgiving and fabulous
Great sizing, very forgiving of lumpy middles. Very flattering and a lot of fun. Standout without shouting "look at me!"

So much fun!
A casual, fabulous dress. I'm 5'8 and could wear it with sandals and have it hit almost exactly at the ankle. Super forgiving. Super happy. It was too casual for an evening wedding, but I was so eager to wear it that I wore it to the grocery store. You can wear with a standard bra. You can size doe

Great dress,low-key fabulous.
This dress has a lot of detail and visual.interest, while also being understated. A good dress if you don't want something boring, but feel like a loud outfit might upstage someone else. It needs either a super pkunge strapless bra or a stick-on bra. Fashion tape at the neckline is important, especially if you intend to dance. The button slits in front are cool, and they're high but not actually revealing, unless you unbutton them. If tou're wearing spanx, you have to wear the underweThe white ribbon straps are unexpected and very cool.

Standout dress, very forgiving and still dramatic.
Very heavy material, definitely a cool-to-cold weather dress. Sizing runs large, but really, you can wear it large. Recommend double-sided tape to keep deep bustline in place. A very loose, very forgiving fit. And it's a dress that stands out without depending on you having a knockout figure. At 5'8 and in 3" heels, the inside of the dress was about tea-length, with the capey part coming an inch or two below that. I wish I'd had a way to tighten up the neckline.

Three people asked me where I'd gotten it. Amazing color, fun cut, very forgiving.
It's a really happy dress, good for a warm climate/summer event. Perfect for outdoors. The material is very nice, but the cut and color make it feel more semiformal than formal. Very comfortable, very easy to wear for hours. It's loose and forgiving, especially of bellies, without being the least bit frumpy. There's a cape in the back which sounds over-the-top, but in person is just really cool. Doesn't require much jewelery, though you can easily wear some. You can have hair up / hair down.

Yellow Asymmetric Hem Dress

Fantastic. Definitely an uncommon dress.
Did NOT get the long, and I wore 4" heels, with a platform. Definitely only get the long if you're 5'10 or above and wearing VERY high heels. Not sure this will work for a woman who's petite, because the hem of the dress will pool and ruin the look. The slit in front is high, so if you're wearing shapewear it has to stop at the underpants line--ie, no shaping thighs. There is no give in the dress, so don't go small. Definitely size up on your backup.

Spectacularly Beautiful--but you sacrifice comfort!
The good: this dress looked absolutely spectacular. I got many, many compliments. I felt gorgeous. The color is fantastic and rich, the style with the folds is very forgiving of loose bellies and jiggly parts. Amazingly, it doesn't give you the dreaded armpit muffin top, and I am very prone to that. It also feels extremely secure when it's on--there is none of the "ohmigod it's falling down" feeling you can get with strapless dresses, and I never once was tempted to pull it up (and I'm the type to be very fidgety and do that). Runs true to size, and trust the chart on the length--I am 5'8, wore a 6L and 4" heels and my toes peeped out a bit, which is just what the sizing suggested would happen. It's so beautiful, and the color makes you stand out in a sea of black dresses and you will feel like you're a movie star. The bad: It's a very uncomfortable dress. There is no give in the fabric and you are very constrained. I could not have danced in this dress--sure, I could walk in it, but not much more. Climbing stairs was a joke. When I dropped things I had to have my date pick them up off the floor because if I'd gone down to pick them up I am sure this dress would have split (I have a bigger than average backside, so women who are small-tushed and small-thighed might not have this problem). There is also a small train, and people kept stepping on it. In terms of fit, the bodice won't accommodate a large range of sizes. I am a small C cup and it worked. If I were an A or B, I would have needed padding (you can wear a strapless bra under it) and if I were larger than a D, I don't know how I would have fit into it. In fact, the backup size I ordered was extremely stretched out in the bodice, I suspect because someone tried to do this. In addition, the zipper was a very poorly manufactured zipper; we could barely close it in spite of having more than enough room.

Great dress. Not flashy, different, comfortable
Loved it. Spanx recommended as it won't hide all of a belly bulge--though it's pattern helps minimize. Tape down the back of your bra. The fit was consistent with what other reviewers said, length in the regular dress was good for my height.
