In heading to a family wedding, I decided to take a risk and try this dress, which is very much not me. It would have been dynamite in a different climate and I didn't think it 100% suited me, but I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to someone else. Just know that if you're headed to an outdoor summer event, particularly in the South, it may be a little bit too toasty, because of how thick the fabric is.

I wore this dress to a special evening with my husband -- a night at the opera and a fancy dinner. I absolutely loved it. It's even prettier in person, such an unusual color, and a woman in line at the restroom even said to me that I looked pretty, that it was nice to see someone else dressed up, and applauded me!!!! It felt good to wear and didn't get uncomfortable. One note of caution: they're not kidding about it being fitted at the stomach. If this is a trouble area for you, maybe get some shapewear or consider something different. But overall, I loved this dress.

I highly recommend these clips to any woman who is looking for special occasion earrings. I wore them to a very special night in New York: a fancy dinner with my husband and a night at the Metropolitan Opera. All told, I had them on for almost seven hours and they didn't pinch at all. Every other pair of clips I've ever worn has wound up tucked in my purse after an hour. Not these guys. If you're considering renting them, I say do it-- you won't be sorry!
