BOUGHT IT!
Loved it SO MUCH, I bought it. I highly recommend this dress. It is heavenly! It flows, it's flattering, it's happy, and you'll feel like a midcentury queen in it. I could definitely picture this being super cute with a white pair of Keds, but I wore it with strappy platforms and it was friggin' adorable. It's lined throughout so you don't have to worry about your undies showing, the thicker straps let you wear you favorite, everyday bra, and the excess fabric drapes in a way that just feels fancy, even though the seersucker feels casual. I'm obsessed with this, can you tell? Highly recommend. You will not be disappointed!

dammit Kate Spade!
I swear I'm utterly confused by this brand. As much as I love Kate Spade, and as many times as I wear their dresses, I can't seem to figure out their sizing system for the life of me! In the last two months, I've tried dresses that are supposed to be my size and are too small AND tried on sizes that are smaller than my size and fit perfectly. I even tried on sizes that are larger than my size that fit perfectly as well. It is so confusing! This dress would have fit me but it was really tight in the bust (you could even see the boning under the bra). I wish RTR had a breakdown of what the bust size is on these pieces and the arm diameter and stuff so we don't have to guess and be bummed when we've wasted a spot in our shipment.

This was theTHIRD item in my shipment that was too small to wear. By the time I finished trying everything, I was nearly in tears. I'm 5'5 and I weigh 160. My bra size is 36B and my pants are now a size 8 to 10. I'm not that big, and I'm an hourglass shape, so I was stunned to see that this didn't fit! I rented a Kate and Spade the prior week in a 6 and it fit perfectly, but this one I couldn't get to zip up even halfway. The dress itself is beautiful, it's all linen and is lined with a white linen fabric. The flattering design had me so excited that I ended up renting it again in a 12. Hopefully it isn't too big, but this is the first time I've ever NOT fit into a size 6 dress. Make sure you size up, ladies!

Too small to wear
I'm a 36B and my shirts are always a medium size. The system suggested a size 4 so I rented that and the shirt wouldn't even go over my breasts. It was a total let down since the shirt was beautiful, thick and obviously very well made. Oh well, maybe I'll try it again in a larger size.

Beautiful but thin
Pros: the pants are funky, fashionable, flattering, lightweight for the summer and flowy so they look and feel sexy and pretty. This is exactly the kind of item that I would rent because it's not something that I'd feel comfortable buying without trying on and wearing for a long time. These are comfortable enough to wear all day long and the pockets are a great touch. I'd consider buying them. Cons: My only problem with these is that they aren't lined at the belly part. The fabric is linen and somewhat on the thinner side. The pockets provide the cover needed but the pockets dont reach all the way to the front of the pants, so that little spot between the pockets is visible and the color of your undies or shirts or bodysuit will show through the material. I'm baffled why the designer wouldn't have just added a little extra piece of linen there to cover that portion, but overall the pants are great and worth the rental.

Too small to wear
So, I rented another Kate and Spade dress the shipment prior to the one when I rented this one. The dress I wore was a size 6 and it fit like a dream come true. I rented this one in a size 8 because the 6 wasn't available, and I couldn't even get the dress to zip up more than halfway! How is it possible that the same designer would fit me in a 6 but doesn't zip up in a size 8 a week later? I was so upset that I had to waste a swap on a dress that should have fit me but didn't.

Never wore it
I rented this to wear for Valentines Day but ended up spending the day in sweatpants and slippers. Ah Covid... the dress is stunning. It's definitely form-fitting so if you feel self-conscious be careful. I had to use shape wear to try it on and even still it was tight. The fabric is beautiful, it was comfy when I tried it on, and the ties are whimsical and give it extra character. Something noteworthy is that the fabric underneath the yellow lace only comes down to the thighs and it somewhat cheapens the look of the dress. Outside of that one thing, it's a 5 star all the way.

WANT TO BUY
Absolutely beautiful dress, has a vintage 50's vibe to it but it's done so nicely that despite the floral print it feels chic and fashionable. I'm in my late 30's and felt like a damn model in this dress. The pockets are cute, and it's not so fancy that you can't just wear it around the house. The one I had gave me some trouble with the zipper (it got stuck midway and required some help from the hubster) but despite this, it's 5 stars all the way.

Comfy, cute, and fresh
Fit so comfortably, didn't need a bra because the elastic bands that make up the top are thick and hold the ladies in nicely. The style was funky and fresh and I felt so happy in this one. Recommend to anyone who just wants another piece to wear for everyday wear.

Fit large, felt comfy but aged me big time
I read on other peoples reviews that the underarm area was wide and deep and the front came down too far also. I had the same issue. The outfit fit me perfect but I had to wear a tank top underneath it because of the fit. I also felt old in this. The style isn't as young and fresh as it looks in the picture so if you're in your late 30's like me or older, this might be a bit aging. It was comfy though, and easy to wear all day.

Fantastic quality
For reference, I'm 5'4 with a 36B bust and weigh 155 lbs. I'm not a small girl but I usually wear a dress size 6 US because I have an hourglass shape (31 inch waist and 42 inch hips). I ordered the recommended size of this dress (a 10) without realizing that I had ordered the UK size 10 and not the US version. Sadly, it was too small. However, I can speak to its amazing quality. The dress is heavy and amazing construction. The lace isn't flimsy at all but rather a thick embroidery type lace that feel luxurious and high end. I'm going to try renting this again next week in my size to wear for my birthday but I would recommend this dress to someone else, just watch out for those UK/US sizes!
