I had selected another dress as a back-up but when the original choice became unavailable (prior customer returned late/damaged) this dress was chosen by a RTR stylist and shipped. I wish that RTR had allowed me to participate in choosing a back-up because I never would have chosen this myself (and I do not mean that in a good way, unfortunately)! RTR did come through and we sorted everything out but I was a bit taken back at first with this dress. I think that the fit in the top is beautiful. However while this had the potential to be a wonderful gown but I just could not get over the tiered layers at the bottom which, I felt, made me look like an over-sized cupcake. I will also note that I am 5'5" and the length was great for a 3" heel but the tiers start just under your bum and overall the placement was quite awkward. Better luck next time!

I selected this as a second back up dress (I was notified that the first choice back-up was not available to due a late return from another customer) and honestly was a bit underwhelmed. It was not flattering on my figure and I did not feel that the material was also not well suited for formal pictures. I think I could have gone down to a small or medium and would have felt better about the overall the cut but the material made me look/feel a bit dumpy rather than glamorous. Better luck next time!

I received this Badgley Mischka as a back-up when my original back-up choice was not able to ship due to a late return from another customer. RTR customer service was wonderful and I appreciate all of their help in selecting a back-up choice. I will note that while I did not end up wearing the dress it is quite stunning in person and I plan to rent it (on purpose!) for an event this spring. It has a flawless (but tight) fit. While it looked and felt almost tailored to me, I might even go up a size to feel less restricted walking and sitting. It was flawless when standing but sitting and walking were a bit challenging. I am 5'5" and the 2-3" heel I had prepared would have been fine.
