I rented this dress as an option for a Marine Corps Ball, loved the whimsical look and the asymmetric tulle skirt. I ordered an 8R and a 10R just in case I needed to size up. I could not even zip the bodice. I feel this dress definitely runs small, and is not made for women with chests. I am a 36C and this dress was not going to accommodate the girls.

I wore this to the 2013 Marine Corps ball, and loved this dress. I did have problems with the waist; I feel this one is definitely meant for ladies with a true hourglass figure (not mine!) as it did get a little tight in the upper waste and bust area! The photo does not do it justice though, the color is phenomenal, and looks amazing with a tan complexion. It was a little long even with platformed heels, but I often have that problem being 5'3". Lots of old Hollywood glamour in this gown!!

I rented this dress for last year's Marine Corps Ball, and got so many compliments. This dress is edgy in black sequins and almost has a liquid look to it. I liked that it didn't sag once I got it on, so I was not readjusting my chest all night. My complaints though were that the dress was heavy, so if you're going to be doing a lot of moving, this might not be the best choice. It was also very long, and I had to be extra careful not to step on it throughout the night. But if you are tall and looking to stand out in a crowd, this is the dress!

This dress was gorgeous. The lace and the side slit is just enough sexy but not inappropriate. I did find that the belt was a little annoying as it got later into the night, but it kind of makes the dress, so going without isn't an option! This dress has no give or stretch, and runs pretty true to size! I love it, would totally order it again!!

I ended up not wearing this dress for two reasons... it fit super tight in the chest, even in my backup size. I am a C cup, but also have been a swimmer all my life, and have a broad back and chest, and there was no give on this one. But it was super beautiful, flowy and ethereal. I wish I could have worn it!

I rented this dress for the Marine Corps ball but ended up not wearing it. I did not like all the ruching, and thought that it actually kind of made me look boxy. I am a C cup, and my boobs easily looked 2 cups bigger. It was just generally not as flattering as I thought.

So, this was actually my backup dress, since my first choice was not as flattering as I thought it would be. I am short, but broad thanks to years of swimming. While it ran large, I had read that already on reviews and the small worked perfectly. I would normally not have worn a dress like this to something so formal as the Marine Corps ball, but being that it is black and the lines are dramatic, it works. I got a lot of compliments, and it was SO much easier to dance and have fun in versus wearing a long, heavy gown. It should be noted that the dress can be slighly sheer when taking photos with flash. Wear appropriate undergarments!
