Comfortable and nice color.
Fairly comfortable fit; however, it sacrifices a bit in the way of shape for it. Most women will be hard pressed to achieve a flattering silhouette in it, unless they are looking for something to obscure a pregnancy. More definition can be created with a shrug or small jacket possibly. The ruffles are a nice addition though. It is a wine color that it a nice variation from a typical black dress.

It's a "Sophia Loren"-style in Emerald
Fit is probably most flattering to hourglass shapes and those who are busty. Size runs a little small, in my opinion, so I went with my larger backup. The color is very unique. I borrowed an idea from another reviewer and added a little black shoulder sweater for warmth and a slightly more conservative appearance. It is a tricky dress to wear with a traditional bra, so you may want to consider other undergarment options.

A comfortable variation on the Little Black Dress
The color blocking on this dress is quite novel. I added a red sweater over it during a party so it lost some of its kick but still remained a solid base dress. An easy wear made of a forgiving stretch fabric with a pleasingly stout zipper down the back. A wearer probably should be mindful that the fabric also broadcasts any bulges or rolls, esp. along the white side panel. The "Go-To Girl" I chatted with was worried about it being too long for me; however, at 5' 6" (w/o heels), I don't think that was a problem. More of a concern may be about whether the style is flattering to certain body shapes due to the cut and color pattern.

The equivalent of gift wrapping yourself.
A very delicate dress reminiscent of butterfly wings. Since I don't often wear wrap dresses, it took a little study before I figured out where things went on the dress. Some prior poster suggested wearing something underneath, and I added a black camisole to guard against inadvertent exposure. If you have sensitive skin, you may notice the tinsel-like quality rubbing against you, but it didn't bother me. Since it is short and thin, I was concerned about getting chilly, but it didn't make a difference at an indoor party. (You DO notice once you are outside on a cold night.) I initially felt like I was putting on a thin spa robe at a Japanese spa; however, once it settled on my frame, it did a good job of obscuring insecurities I have about my midsection and upper arms while still looking formal and festive.
