After reading other reviews I decided to rent the XS, even though I would usually not on RTR. I'm glad I did. This dress runs really big. I am also super narrow through the hip, so I had no issue with the smaller sizing. It's a shorter dress, it hit over my knee -- even with me being only 5'2" -- so that is something to consider. I wore it to work and on an anniversary date with my husband (to dinner and Christmas tree shopping). I got so many compliments, my coworkers told me I needed to keep it!!! Haha!

The dress itself is gorgoeus and I had been encouraged by other shorter reviewers about the length. However, unless you have some serious heels, this dress wont work if you are 5'2" and under. Even in my highest heels I would have been tripping all over the hem. I was so sad because I rented it for a Gatsby Event I was going to. Had to pull something out of my closet instead.

I would definitely recommend getting two sizes in this, your normal size and one size up. The 6 fit, but it was a little too tight. They 8 was just right. The lace detail was gorgeous and the best thing about the dress is how classy it looks, but being a romper is simultaneously comfortable. Really loved this one and would consider renting it again.

Dress fit very nicely. Honestly, the size 4 looked a little better, but I wore it for our anniversary dinner and I wanted to eat and not feel uncomfortable...ya know? ;) Great dress would rent it again. Runs very true to size.
