Tons of compliments— very snug fit at the top, so beware of that.
Wore this dress to a white tie work affair and it was great. The fabric is quite nice and the cut is modern so it’s not too much Princess. Beware that the top is very tight- I had size 2 and struggled to close the zip. The dress can be worn as strapless, which is why it’s so snug. It’s also very long. I had on platform heels and it was still hard. But I would definitely rent this again, and I would probably buy it and hem if I owned it. It’s good for ladies who are small on top and a bit more generous below. ;)

Great dress, lots of compliments
I wore this dress to a white tie work affair. I loved wearing it and received tons of compliments-- even at the end of an evening! The fabric is thick and feels lovely. And it was nice to stand out with a color on a night where most people wore black. I'm dinging one star because it was just way too long and I had to gather it up, bridal style, to walk anywhere. I'm 5'4." And the bodice is snug-- that was fine for me but if you carry weight on the top, this wouldn't be the right dress.

Everyone loved this dress, both on me and in photos.
I word this dress to a high profile event that was televised nationally, and received emails almost immediately when I was shown on TV. Everyone wanted to know where I'd gotten the dress. Even months later people commented on it. At one point this year I was invited to another formal event, and my friend suggested that I wear this same red dress! I had to explain that I didn't own it! Only wear it if you're willing to stand out.

Loved this dress, it was perfect for preppy wedding in Massachusetts.
The dress fit true to size, the fabric was thick so it felt v expensive. I got tons and tons of compliments. Also, it has pockets, which was nice. It is a little longer than I expected, but the waist was very fitted so you don't look like a sack. I would rent it again!

Super fun dress for a very formal event
I squeezed into a size 0 just bc that was the only size available at the RTR store in DC the day of an event (there was a delay and problem w the dress I originally ordered.) The skirt on the dress is v v full, which was fun for this white tie dinner. I assume the dress runs a bit large since I normally am a 2 or 4. Got tons of compliments, including from some people I didn't know who just wanted to talk to me about the dress.

Super fun and flirty dress. I wore it to a party I hosted on a very, very warm D.C. evening.
The dress definitely runs large. I'm almost ALWAYS a size 4, but the size 2 fit perfectly. I'm not super large chested, so I had to tie the top pretty tightly.

Everyone loved the dress! Perfect for holiday party.
The dress fit well, but would have been far too snug in the chest for anyone with a larger bra size (I'm 34B). It works well for someone like me who is small on top and larger on the bottom. The dark pattern on the sides is beading, I was delighted to learn. As usual w RTR I got tons of compliments.

The dress looked so good that groups of people came up to ask about it.
I wore this dress to a Christmas party and it was an absolute hit. People came up to me to just touch it ...I got tons of complements. The cut is perfect for someone like me with a small waist but larger behind. And there are pockets! This was my first Rent the Runway experience and I'll definitely do it again.
