My pre pregnancy size was 0/2. I ordered 4/6 in this dress and the 6 barely fit. Zipping up was hard, and pulling the dress up over my hips to use the bathroom was a struggle! Otherwise I liked the way the dress looked.

I rented this dress for a family wedding. I needed something that would not stand out too much in photos, but didn't want to wear all black. It needed to be conservative, but still fun. This worked nicely for all those reasons, but I was not super excited about it when it arrived and I tried it on. I went with the small vs XS, because it was pretty fitted around my hips and butt, and I didn't feel that this was the most flattering shape for my body: I have always been proud of my ample behind, but the flare at the bottom was just not really working with it. Finally, I was planning on wearing a sticky-bra with this, but the clear clip in the middle was completely visible through the unlined, front embroidery. I ended up buying a roll of duct tape on the way to the event as a last minute tactic!

This is a beautiful dress that was perfect for the charity gala I attended: conservative, but enough fun details to be stylish and receive compliments. As others have mentioned, if you have a wider rib cage, be sure to size up. I generally wear a 0 or 2, but wore the 4 in this (and zipper barely closed -- I'm a 34 B, for reference). The tight fit did provide great support and allowed me to wear it without a bra. I'm 5'4" and it was a little on the long side compared to pictured on the model, but still a very lovely choice.
