Love the mermaid bottom

Unfortunately, my size was unavailable so I had to size up and it was too big (bunched and sagged in the upper back). The color is bright and fun, the lines are super flattering. Will try to rent again in the future for sure!

WILL GIVE YOU A BELLY POOCH

The length was perfect. The high neck and back give a modern, cool touch. The fabric is thick and yet still soft/stretchy. BUT you have to be a complete rail for this dress to look smooth in the front. Something about the position of the belt and the change in fabric and the way it hugs and light reflects...it will make even a relatively flat stomach look bloated.

Just ok

The pattern and silky material kind of reminded me of a nightgown. While it was flattering, I could imagine this dress is difficult to size. The top was loose in the armpits, and the bottom was tight through the hips.

Flattering!

The draped fabric across the pesky lower belly area was incredibly forgiving. It had the right amount of sexy (exposed shoulders, leg slit) while still feeling lady like. The ruffle was not obnoxious or overwhelming...added a little sass! My only criticism would be that it shows panty lines / dimples in the booty. Would recommend shapewear strictly for a smoother rear surface.

FEELS LIKE BURLAP

This dress was SO RIDICULOUSLY TIGHT on my arms, and yet tented up weirdly in the shoulders. Even the size that zipped up with no problem and fit like a glove in the midsection was all sorts of whack at the top. I really can't get over the material, though. Even if my arms WEREN'T being suffocated (couldn't lift them over 45 degrees) I still wouldn't have worn it. So scratchy and uncomfortable. What you think may be a soft lace material is actually thick rigid embroidery with ZERO movement. It's like draping a rug around you (hence the funky fit in the shoulders...even gravity doesn't allow it to lie flat). Don't recommend it unless you're into that whole "pain = beauty" thing. I'm into comfort. Not happening in this dress. I don't have fat arms and you would have to go up 2 sizes (minimum) for them to be mobile.
