The dress is lovely. The zipper on my fist size didn't work, so I'm glad I had the back up. That zipper was also tough, but since it was the larger size I was able to pull over my head. I'm 5 ft 7 and the dress just showed my shoes - which I wanted. I think anything longer would have been difficult to walk/dance in. This dress is figure flattering. The lining on my dress fell a little below the hem line, but it wasn't very noticeable with the movement and glamour of the dress.
