First of all, the color is gorgeous - a brilliant royal blue that really pops! And the cut is flattering - hides belly pooch well, while making your butt look good. Also warm, which is good for chilly nights. The downsides: it's a skosh short, and the plunging neckline can pose some issues for bigger boobs. I had to safety pin & use fabric tape to keep it from gapping; those with smaller chests would probably be okay without having to do anything.

Rented this for a friend's January wedding, and loved both the bright cobalt blue color and the romantic feel of the lace. Was wedding-appropriate while still being sexy. Just two small (very small!) gripes: one, if you're a top-heavy chick like me, err on the side of caution and get a size bigger than you think you'll need - there is NO GIVE in the chest, so if you're trying to jam some 32DD's into a size 2 bust (true story), you're not going to be able to fasten it in back and you're going to be breathing pretty shallowly the whole time! I was able to comfortably fasten the size 4, though, and still could have probably gone up to a size 6 and still had the dress fit fine elsewhere (I'm tiny in the hips and butt). Second (tiny) gripe: when I sat down, the satin lining seemed to pucker out a tiny bit at the bottom of the dress, so it looked a bit odd - doubt anyone other than me really noticed, though, because the dress is JUST THAT GORGEOUS. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Rented this to wear to my cousin's bridal shower at a country club. Loved the bright yellow color - definitely stood out in the sea of muted fall tones so many others wore. The fit is flattering, but a bit odd - was very tight in the bust (to the point where I couldn't, and really didn't need to wear a bra), and a tad loose in the butt & hips. It also got a bit uncomfortable in the shoulders after a few hours - was uncomfortable to raise my arms up, as the fabric does not have a lot of give and it tended to dig into my armpits. Aside from fitting issues - it's a gorgeous dress and I definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to stand out at their event!
