Almost right, still like them
Ok, these pants needed an epic amount of steaming to make wearable. I’m not talking about “creasing may occur during shipping” but like “this waistband thinks it’s a slinky, and no one noticed when they put it on the hanger.” Nevertheless, I persisted and they fit perfectly if I didn’t have to walk much. I, however, live in NYC and have thighs passed down from potato-planting ancestors. The fit wasn’t terrible it was just a bit off. Like I needed a half size larger to accommodate for my glorious, unapologetic thighs. I’m going to try these in a 12 next time and see how it goes. The fabric is perfect for warm weather, just know you’re going to “swish, swish” if you walk down any quiet hallways.

Cute cute
I had rented this top in a larger size (and in leopard) previously and really liked it. This fit was much better and again, I really love how much body the fabric has and how well it maintains the structure of the garment. Would def rent again.

Tomato red with fun details
I think the key with this shirt is getting a size that is large enough to let the crisp fabric and boxy-crop cut move as it should. It should fit at the shoulders and tie “just so” in the front, as the bows are decorative and not to cinch. There’s a hidden zipper in the back to help large heads (like mine) ease in. I can see the color not being everyone’s jam. It’s a warm, tomato red that isn’t subtle. I want to wear this shirt 17 more times Lots of compliments Oh- a little large in the armholes. 🤷🏻♀️

So chic
I needed to size down but did some strategic inner pinning to get things to fit well. Will 100% rent again in a different size. The skirt was a tiny bit longer than I had anticipated but again, I needed a smaller size. I’ll see how things go next time. And yes, that day I WAS an alien.

Technicolor Peasant Blouse Fever Dream
I’ve never met a peasant blouse I haven’t at least wanted to be acquaintances with, but I made a full-on commitment and bought this gorgeous girl after wearing for the day at Graceland. Sheer but not revealing due to volume of fabric. The colors are vibrant without being primary. It’s perfection.

Cute top, needed smaller size
Very cute top, wore multiple times despite it being too large. Would rent again in the next size down (perhaps 2 down). Loved the weight of the fabric. Received multiple compliments each time I wore it, almost mauled by a bear who really wanted to wear it.

Cute top. I think I should have sized up?
I wanted this to be boxier and a littler more structured - the fabric is just too soft to provide this and starching can only help so much. I glossed over the gathers across the shoulders when browsing - that should have given me a heads up on the fabric. It's a cute little top though, very soft - just not what I was looking for.

I just wanted to try it on
This dress is super cool and I wish it were October, as it would be fantastic with tall, brown heeled boots and big gold earrings. Sadly, it's summer-ish --- but I may see her again in a few months. I am surprised the neckline/placket didn't have more structural support (heavier interfacing), as the dress weighs quite a lot and the sleeves really do depend on the a few buttons. I would normally want a button-down dress that wasn't fully functional, but the integrity of this dress (especially if you're dancing and having fun for several hours) might be better served if the skirt was tacked closed from the lower pelvis down. All that said, I'd wear it. *I'm in between revision surgeries following a bi-lateral mastectomy and DIEP flap reconstruction and am trying to find what works amidst this boobular chaos.*
