Looks better in photos
While in pictures the background looks to be white, it’s actually light gray and the blues are much more muted. I packed cream shoes to wear with the dress (as I was traveling), but in person, cream didn’t look right with the dress. Navy or silver shoes would have looked better, along with silver jewelry. So probably best for someone with a cool skin tone (versus warm). The material is a very stretchy scuba. If you have curves and hips, it’s more flattering. I have no hips or butt, and probably could have sized down one (the next size down wasn’t available), so the hips puckered out so it looks like a dress with pockets.

Perfect for profession headshots
I was looking high and low for a dress like this. I call it my "Princess Kate dress". It's classy, but turned heads. I received so many compliments, and it felt like second skin. I had to buy it. Great for work (business professional), date night, rehearsal dinner, etc. For reference, I wore a size 4, and am 5'6, 130lbs, 36B. I generally wear size 27 in jeans.

Runs large. I'm generally between a small and a medium in winter coat. Ordered the medium, and probably should have ordered the small. Decided to try it out for kicks for a vacation in Vail... received a lot of attention. Reminds me of something Emily in Paris would wear (if it was ever cold in the show).
