Showstopper!
Got compliments on this all night long. I’m 5’5” and this was the perfect length with 3ish inch heels. Slit is high, especially when sitting. I have larger arms/shoulders and despite having no stretch the one sleeve fit very well. I also have a butt/thighs and the way this was cut I had plenty of room.

Cute top
Rented this for dinner and a show in NYC. Will look cute wiht faux leather leggings and black booties. As other reviewers have noted it is a stretchy/forgiving fabric. I'll say it is a knit, so it doesn't look quite as fancy in person as it does online. Also there is a horizontal seam that is hidden by the model's high waisted pants so you either need to wear it untucked or with some VERY high waisted pants.

This dress is fine once belted, but without it looks like a way too big potato sack. I have bigger arms/shoulders and the small fit that part of my body with plenty of room to move around.

Naked dress!
Be prepared that this dress is essentially see-through--there are layers of the sheer mesh fabric but you can still see through it (if you look closely you can see the model's butt in the reverse photo). This is remedied fairly easily by a slip underneath, but don't rent this thinking you can wearstandalone. Additionally, somehow the sleeves aren't nearly as sheer as they appear in the model photos, so you kind of lose that layered look. As for the dress I got the recommended 42 (normal size 6) and it's at least a size too big in the top. I have larger shoulders/arms and there is a ton of extra room/fabric up there. I will likey wear to my event, but would not rent again.

renaissance fair fabulous
Rented this for a themed party and while close, it veered off a bit too Renaissance for me. Length was good on me (5'5") with a 3 inch heel. Wrap worked OK size-wise, but the sleeves are HUGE. Felt like I was swimming in velour.

SUPER short
I'm 5'5" and this dress was too short for me to wear. Barely covered my butt and couldn't have worn it if there was even a smidge of wind. It otherwise fit fine, but wowowwww it's short.

Given the construction of this dress it's not possible to wear a real bra, so those of us who have smaller chests will look a bit boy-ish on top in this. However, I really liked the print and material and the rest of the fit was very flattering on my figure.

Rented this for a work conference. Comfortable, thick, somewhat stretchy material will be nice to wear for a full day of meetings. Will need some sort of fastener at the chest as I can see gaping being a bit of a problem.

Just a touch too small
I'm between a small and a medium in sheath dresses and after reading the reviews I sized down. Unfortunately while I got it on my body it was too small to wear. Also without any sort of fastener at the chest would absolutely need to safety pin it shut. Cute dress in a fun color, but if you're between sizes I would suggest sizing up.

Looking for new white jeans
On the hunt for new white jeans with a bit of interest. These are great, I'm 5'5" the frayed edge his just at my ankle. Fabric is nice and thick with a touch of stretch. Haven't worn for a long period yet so I don't know how they'll hold up. I'm a 4/6/27/28 depending on the pants and for designer jeans I would say these fit TTS for my thicker thighs and butt.

Nice skirt, not for me.
Every six months or so I try this type of skirt and every time I'm reminded that it is just not flattering on my body. Skirt itself was nice material, size was accurate--nice wide elastic waistband.

Sized down from my typical 6 due to the reviews about the chest area being a little large and glad I did. Size 4 was curve hugging, but not too tight. Length might have been awkward, but the slit made it work. Wore to a black tie wedding and got a ton of compliments. Sequins did not irritate my arms the way some do!

Great fall dress, can be dressed up or down. Plenty of stretch/room in shoulders/sleeves, slight a-line flare at waist/hips. On the shorter side, so may be tough for work if wearing with heels.

Rented this dress dress for a nice dinner out, but ended up not wearing. Felt like a lot of fabric and not particularly flattering. The length was also not great for me, as it hit in a weird place on my calves. Fabric was thick and nice with a bit of stretch, plenty of room for arm movement.

Rented this dress for a celebration dinner with family. I was very excited about it coming out of the bag, but was unfortunately just "meh" on. There was no definition at the waist and the layers of ruffles sort of just hung there. Also the pattern was more muted and less vibrant than appears in the photo. I may try the same dress in the silver fabric but a size down to see if fit was the problem.

Rented this for daytime/post-beach wear. Good, on-trend dress. Loved the fabric, nice and airy. However, be warned this dress is VERY short. I am 5'5" and was very concerned about any hint of wind...Even for a beach coverup it was short.

Lovely dress for a christening/baby shower
Very feminine and comfortable, fabric is bright and cherry in person. Was a touch long for my 5'5" frame, but looked fine with a wedge. I probably could have sized down, but the waist may have been too small. If you have a smaller chest it may be helpful to have some tape, as I had a bit of gaping.

Versatile sweater
I wore this sweater a few times, with black jeans and leggings. It's definitely roomy, but meant to be that way so I don't think I would size down if I were to order again. The pattern on the fabric gives you a waist even in the oversized sweater. Only itchy after wearing for many hours, otherwise comfortable.

wayyyyy too big
I'm normally a 6 and sometimes in a shift a bit bigger since I have larger hips/butt. I've worn a 6 in other Lily styles before and they've been a touch roomy, but comfortable and good to wear. I'm absolutely swimming in this dress, would consider going down to a 4 maybe even a 2.

Love this dress
Was afraid thIs style would have been too tight (I'm typically a 6 with smaller bust/chest, larger butt), but probably could have sized down. Wore this to multiple dinners and as a beach cover up. Looked to buy it but realized it's $650, yikes! Will definitely rent again. It's linen so you've got to be OK with the rumpled look, also note it's a bit sheer.

Wore this a couple times, nice material, roomy in the arms (I have larger arms/shoulders). Only comment is that it is definitely on the shorter size so beware if you have a long torso or are not OK with a bit of stomach skin peeking out. I think I have an average length torso and it just grazed the top of my jeans.

As someone who was unsure about non-skinny jeans I was so pleasantly surprised with these that I ordered them from Madewell in a size smaller. Since there's very little (no?) spandex in these they stretch out as you wear them, but that makes them all the more comfortable. Going to try starting with a smaller size to see if I can get a few more wears before washing. Also Madewell offers a curvy cut which may be better for my body type--though the "straight" size was fine on my thicker thighs and round butt.

These just didn't work for me. I like a high waist, but these just had too much rise. I'm a true size 6 in Lulu and otherwise these fit TTS. Loved the fabric, and would definitely buy/rent similar pants in this fabric with a lower rise or cleaner waistband. Length was nearly full-length on me (as most 7/8 or 3/4 Lulu things are on me).

I rented this as a beach coverup/daytime dress and it definitely works for that use. However, I totally agree with the other reviewers, this dress is SHORT, like be careful when you sit down because you may just be sitting on your butt cheeks short. For reference I'm 5'5" and was wearing the medium.
