It was my bday!
Shirt runs low in the chest so I wore a sports bra so I didn't have to worry about any weird slippage.

I felt cool and professional.
I like that that belt is affixed to the pants so it can't be lost. The pants are made of a thin fabric so I wore a long vest to conceal my underwear on my bum.

I wouldn't normally buy a pair of pants with such a distinct pattern so it was fun to rent them.
The pants had fun buttons on the fly and your underwear/crotch are concealed by a flap of fabric. Pants are cute but unfortunately the style is boxy and kind of unflattering.

It was a formal evening power gala and I got so many compliments on the dress.
Dress fit nicely throughout. I can't imagine someone who is bigger breasted fitting into it. The pockets are a nice touch. I felt very elegant.

I wore these a few times—once to work and then when tooling around the city.
I got so many compliments on these pants but I spent every day I wore them adjusting and pulling up the belt, which is not attached to the pants. Also, they were a bit long for me so I had to hoist them up pretty high. They look great when standing, but when sitting there is a lot of excess fabric around the crotch area. And I think there was a bit of extra fabric in the buttocks, but I have a bit of a flat bum.

I got this blouse for an on-camera interview and felt pretty good in it.
I loved the angle of the sleeve and it has an interesting detail at the back on the bottom. As a result, the shirt is best worn untucked. I had to use double-sided tape between buttons as it was jutting out a bit. Perhaps that could have been addressed if I had pressed/steamed it.
