Striking Grace & Suble Elegance
I absolutely loved this dress, and was surprised by it - the colors are out of my usual palette for something a touch more 'formal' (e.g. blacks and blues) - but I took a chance. Not only did I wear this dress to an elegant party that wasn't strictly formal (it beautifully toes the line between the 'swooshy' more formal skirt and more of a knit, almost daytime top). It was a great choice for the evening, paired with heels and the right jewelry, and I loved it so much I wore it with flats and a shawl to the farmer's market the next day! Then, I bought it. :). Super flattering and great quality, you can't go wrong!

Flowing flower elegance - my favorite RTR rental
This dress (which I rented twice, and could not help but purchase) is hands down one of my favorite RTR rentals. The flowy nature of the gown dresses up for a formal event or a lovely date night; the top has such an elegant neckline. Compliments all evening long.

I wore this for a Valentine's Day date with my husband - it is perfect! Could dress it up with heels and jewelry, or given we were near the beach - I wore flats and it still had that sweeping, effortless grace.

Flowing, royal, and gorgeous
This stunning dress is one of my favorite from RTR - and I've rented so many gowns over the years! I have a large chest and it was a little revealing for a wedding - but other than that, fabulous. I will end up purchasing mine.

Stunning dress, wrinkles easily
I LOVED this dress, though it took a great deal of time to iron given the thickness of the fabric. Once I put it on, with its unique flowing details on the back, I was delighted. It feels like the type of dress you would wear in Africa for high tea. The only complaint I have is that it wrinkles so easily through the midsection, prompting the desire to steam it so that it doesn't appear that way throughout the day - but unless there is a tiny steamer that fits in a purse I haven't heard of, there was no way to do that! Hence 4 stars out of 5, but otherwise, it's a beautiful dress.

Stunning, unique colors
I love this dress, and may purchase it. I usually don't wear such bold, bright colors - but given this was ALC (a brand I love) and the RTR reviews I decided to give it a try. It's a gorgeous dress, and as I had read, has a "lot" of fabric - which to me was a good thing! It's very flowy but has some heft (not in a way that is hot, just a good deal of layers, almost) - but it flutters a bit as you walk. I got a TON of compliments throughout the day. I think it was pretty dead on in terms of fit, though I feel like I might have been able to size down given the strechiness of the fabric on top. Lovely, lovely dress!

Stunning & Timeless
This dress was just absolutely gorgeous. I wore it for a black tie event in Los Angeles and it was the perfect elegant choice. The velvet is so timeless, and the off the shoulder sweep of the dress... just wow! Received so many compliments, and the nature of the velvet and fit were so flattering and forgiving as well. I would love to own it!

This dress is just striking and utterly flattering! Great for formal/work event.
I wore this to a televised event where I was being interviewed (I'm a film director) which was preceded by a cocktail party in New York. I wanted to be feminine but professional, so I specifically looked for something that would be flattering without looking like I was showing off too much. The dress was extremely form fitting (which I loved) but the long sleeves and hemline made me feel comfortable with that aspect of it. I'm 5'9 and about a size six (I THINK my sizing here was correct), and I have a 36C chest... I showed a touch more than anticipated in that area but not in a huge way. My only comment would be something someone else said in a review which is the "hem" of the bustline kind of turns out on you, it doesn't lay completely smooth - but again, not a huge deal. I would consider buying this dress because it is such a classy staple with a sexy flare - and very versatile!
