I loved the style of this! I'm shorter & have wider hips than the model so it didn't look exactly the same on me, but still looked nice. I tried what other reviewers said about pinning it shut and it totally fixed the skirt for work! I will say — if you're fidgety with your clothes I'd take that into account if you plan on wearing this to the office. I did find myself paying closer attention to my skirt that usual.

This dress is so cute! It's supposed to be a bit boxy & loose - so the 6 was perfect. It's fairly low in the front and a bit short, but given the modest cut I didn't feel inappropriate. I threw on a pair of short shorts (actual denim shorts, not spanx) and I felt comfortable walking around all day. You couldn't see the shorts, and because of the ruffles there wasn't any added bulk. I highly recommend this! I just threw my hair in a bun & wore this with short brown ankle boots. Perfect for daytime or a casual night. You'll get lots of compliments! So bummed I have to return this..

I loved the style of this dress, and the red color was perfect for my black hair & olive skin. Unfortunately, it was way too big so I didn't end up wearing it. I'm right between a size 4 & 6, depending on the brand.. but I rented a 6 and it was too big. I could've made it work if I was taller, but being 5'2 & petite – the thick material bunching at my waist and hem hitting at about my shins made me feel like I was playing dress up. It's a gorgeous dress, and gorgeous color. The material is thick, and I imagine would lend itself to hiding imperfections. Great for taller women, but I think works for us short women so long as it is your proper size!
