I'm wearing this to a Halloween party tomorrow that is more upscale than I'm used to. I was nervous about getting the right mix of elegance and costume. All my anxiety disappeared when I tried this dress on this morning. I'm pairing it with a bright red wig and a red ball mask, but the dress keeps everything "tasteful". It is super flattering, too. It gives me mega-cleavage and hides my belly and love handles and makes me look like I totally work out, which I totally do *not*. I hesitated to spend so much on a dress I wouldn't even own, but the quality of the garment (and how it makes me look) just blows $160 retail dresses out of the water. Highly recommend.

This dress fit terribly. I'm 5'9", 139 lbs and rented a 6L. It ran very small in the bodice and the zipper was barely functional. When I finally got the zipper up, the compression was not flattering at all. The instant I took this out of the bag, it struck me as looking "cheap". It's just not a nice dress. Avoid.

I wore this to Barrister's Ball. Lots of other girls were wearing black, but this dress was a hands-down knock-out. There's something very striking about the shoulder-to-floor black, sleek silhouette. The fit was true to size--I wore a medium-long. At 5'9" and 139 pounds, it was a perfectly adequate fit. There is quite a bit of extra material around the upper arms. Not ideal, but it didn't bother me too much, and nobody noticed. I would say, if you're not sure, go with the larger size--the dress was a bit tight around the hips. Also, beware, it is looooong! You must wear heels. I wore four-inchers, and that was perfect.
