I wore this to a museum event and it felt perfectly appropriate; this dress is artsy with a subtle edginess. I love that feeling where you get the outfit exactly right for the occasion. Wear this when you need to look like the "cool girl" in the room! It has a loose fit, which some might find shapeless, but I feel the quality of the fabric, the cut out shoulders and deep V balance this out. (It might overwhelm a smaller frame.) Worn with De La Renta Red Impatients Flower Drop Earrings and black wood heeled wedges.

Very dramatic! All you need is a black dress and red lipstick. If you are looking for drama and endless comments on how amazing your earrings are, then these are for you. For their size, they are not terribly heavy, but I would not want to wear them for more than 4 hours.

This dress was very comfortable. (You could eat a four course meal in it, no problem.) The luxe silk material made it just dressy enough for a cocktail event. I was afraid the blouse-y fit might look frumpy but the baring of the shoulders made it sexy in an understated way. The sleeves stayed put on my shoulders, which was nice. (I find some off the shoulder styles ride up and need constant adjusting.) Could be a bit long on shorter ladies. Definitely needs a pair of killer heels.

This dress is completely gorgeous--the fabric is super luxe-- but it runs HUGE. I was swimming in the 8. I had to send it back (unlimited order) but I'd try again in a 6. Or maybe even a 4.
