The perfect creative cocktail dress
I wore this to a semi-formal dinner and received several compliments. It was attractive and flattering, but not too tight. I felt comfortable, beautiful, and fun.

I rented this as my back-up dress for a coworker's garden wedding. My first pick fit perfectly, and good thing! This is a beautiful dress, but I wouldn't wear it around coworkers or family. Okay, that's not entirely true. I DID wear it to work the next day so I wouldn't waste the rental, but I wore a buttoned-up cardigan over it. Beautiful color and a great, light material for summer. The halter is ADJUSTABLE, fellow short ladies! It has a seriously low neckline though, and there's no padding so if you get cold...well, there's just one more reason not to wear this around coworkers. I love this though and will probably rent it again for a party or something.

Toned down gown at a garden wedding
I LOVE these beautiful, light-weight earrings. Do I HAVE to give them back? Wore them to a wedding and again the next day because I just wanted to get one more use out of them. Loooove these!

Not for petite women :(
I love this dress and am so disappointed I couldn't wear it. The color is gorgeous. The material is light and comfortable. The cut is fabulous, BUT it's not designed for shorter women. I'm 5'1" and the back was clearly cut for a taller woman. If this came in petite, I'm sure it would've been fine. But on me, the fabric above the waistline just hung awkwardly and was tight in other places. It was also difficult to hide my bra. I think a 5'4" woman could pull this off. I've said it before and I will say it again. RTR is a WONDERFUL service, but y'all need to add "petite" to the search options! I can customize my search by every category save for that one, and it drives me crazy!

Too big and a little odd
The dress is pretty and it's a shame I couldn't wear it. It was simply too large. Admittedly, I've lost weight recently, so I think the 10 would've been better than the 12. To be honest, I might've even been able to pull off the 8! However I think the fabric is odd the way it overlaps. There's a slit in the fabric that one of the layers is supposed to go through or hang over. I really couldn't figure it out, but that's was a strange design element.

I received several compliments and felt beautiful, while maintaining a sense of professionalism.
The dress was a little big on me, but I usually wear a 12P (sadly, that wasn't available by the date I needed it). It fit well, but was still a little long on my 5'1" frame. A massive pair of platform pumps fixed that! The shoulder sash bit was also too long, but I pinned it and think it looked lovely. The dress was actually pretty comfortable, though I think the criss-cross design draws attention to the tummy, which I was slightly self-conscious about. The folks at RTR were amazing, btw. I had no time to mess around, so I emailed explaining that I needed petite dresses for a curvy/larger girl (size 12/14). I got a response within minutes that listed a few options. I chose one and a second for backup (didn't wear that one in the end). Everything went smoothly thanks to RTR and its amazing team! This site is a busy woman's best friend. Seriously.
