Amazing
This dress is incredible, I got compliments all night. The vibe is 90s and lingerie inspired. The bias cut is so flattering. I was worried that it would be better suited for a smaller chest but I felt comfortable and secure all night. If you're between sizes, I would size down.

Charming but small
Based on the photos I was worried that this might be a little matronly but it is much cuter in person. I didn't end up wearing it because I couldn't zip it past my rib cage but would consider re-renting in the next size up.

As other reviewers note, this runs on the smaller size and would size up. Unfortunately, the next size up wasn't available, and the 4 didn't fit. I was able to zip the dress, but it's short-waisted and the cups are small so it sat low on my chest and gave a dreaded quad-boob look.

This dress is a beautiful color and material. I found that the cup size was small relative to the dress size. Even tied tightly, I was pulling the straps and chest up constantly and I felt overly exposed. The next size up fit slightly better in the chest but was too big in the waist.

Adorable, but sheer fabric
The XS was short-waisted on me and gave me a major wedgie - I think sizing up to a small would have been better. I'm 5'3" and would have been able to wear flats. However, I ended up not wearing it because the fabric is sheer and showed my underwear even in my dimly lit apartment.

As others mention in their reviews, the top of the dress is smaller relative to the bottom. The top part of the dress fit me well but I had a lot of extra fabric in my stomach and hip area that was unflattering. This, combined with the length, made the dress look a little frumpy on my frame. The print photographs well but the color is drab in person. The fabric is not very soft. Overall disappointing and I didn't end up wearing.

Beautiful but runs large - size down
The fabric is lovely and lightweight and the colors are even more gorgeous in person but this runs very large. I'm usually a small in Farm Rio and I was swimming in this - I think even sizing down to the XS wouldn't have fit. I'm 5'3" and it was full length but I could have worn flats. If you can get the fit right this would be stunning!

Perfect for a Miami wedding!
The fabric and color are stunning. It was more comfortable for me to wear the straps crossed in the back. All of my undergarments showed under the dress so I went without. I'm 5'3" and even with 3" heels the dress was still about 3" too long so I used fashion tape to hem it. The straps aren't adjustable and were also slightly too long - I occasionally had to pull up the top while dancing but didn't feel in danger of a major wardrobe malfunction. Overall, one of my favorite RTR rentals and would recommend!

Gorgeous dress
This is a beautiful dress - I wore it to a wedding and received so many compliments! I think it runs a tad small - I'm usually an XS in Dress the Population but the S fit more comfortably. The dress wasn't midi on me - it fell to just above my ankles. (For reference, I'm 5'3", 123 lbs, 34/26/34.) The strapless top didn't budge all night, and the sleeves were very comfortable and left me plenty of mobility to dance. The colors are gorgeous and photograph well. I'd love to rent this again!

Luxurious dress!
This is a beautiful, heavy dress. I've worn other Marchesa Notte dresses before and am usually a size 6, but this 4 was still a little large. I'm a 36B with a 26-inch waist and 34-inch hips and the dress was a little loose through the waist. I'm 5'3" and the back hem was a few inches off the floor in 3-inch heels. The ruffled, asymmetric hem adds some interest to the gown but I think the proportions might work better on someone taller.

Even more beautiful in person!
The embroidery is stunning and even more beautiful in person - I got endless compliments! This was actually my backup dress and I liked it so much I decided to wear this one rather than the one I originally ordered. The double V neckline and fitted bodice is extremely flattering, and it's nice to have adjustable straps. I'm 5'3" and the dress hovered just above the ground in 3-inch heels and was perfect. I'm a 36B with 26-inch waist and the XS fit like a glove. I loved this dress!

Beautiful dress for a black tie wedding
The dress drapes well and the neckline is beautiful; I got tons of compliments. As others have mentioned, you'll show some serious side boob in this dress. I found that pinning the halter to shorten the top half of the dress improved the fit and reduced the side boob. I also used some tape and felt completely secure. I'm 5'3 and it was just a touch too long in 4 inch heels. The material is stretchy, and I would size down for your backup.
